Chapter 11: Bullying.

Youngmin was on his locker to pick up his books, but when he opened it; his locker was full of crashed eggs, well actually Kwangmin’s locker.

-      What the hell! –Youngmin screamed upset.

-      They really went far this time. –Ahjin said shocked.

-      Aishh… my homework is wet. I need to do it again! –Youngmin said almost crying of anger.

-      I really can’t stand those stupid boys. I don’t even know why Youngmin is their friend. The worst is that they never stop. –Ahjin said mad.

“Why did they do that? We supposed to have an agreement that they couldn’t do bullying to Kwangmin. I need to talk with Kwangmin about this” Youngmin thought.

Youngmin went where Kwangmin was.

-      Youngmin hyung. I need to talk with you. –Youngmin said.

-      Uhhmmm… ok. –Kwangmin said. Donghyun made Youngmin a face of “if you talk, you’re dead”

They went outside to talk.

-      Today, my friends did me a joke. They didn’t suppose to do that. Did you tell them to do it? – Youngmin said upset.

-      What? No, I would never tell them to bully you. –Kwangmin said nervous.

-      So, why did they do it? We made an agreement that they could bully the whole school except girls and you! –Youngmin said upset.

-      Well… one day they were bullying Ahjin and Hyunseong. I told them to stop because I knew the agreement you had with them. They told me that they couldn’t bully me but they could bully Hyunseong and Ahjin, so I made an agreement with them, they wouldn’t bully Ahjin and they would have permission to bully me. They also told me that I couldn’t tell you anything about it or they would continue bullying them. –Kwangmin said embarrassed.

-      Why didn’t you tell me anything? I would have stopped them. You know that we don’t have the best brother’s relationship, but I’m your hyung! I must protect you from bullies. –Youngmin said still upset.

-      I’ve already told you why I didn’t tell you anything. –Kwangmin said.

-      Just tell them to stop. You are me now! –Youngmin said.

-      If I do that, they will continue bullying Ahjin and Hyunseong anyway. –Kwangmin said.

-      No, they won’t! They do everything I say! Just do it Kwangmin! –Youngmin said upset.

Kwangmin was afraid to tell something to them, so he went to see if Ahjin was good.

-      Hi! –Kwangmin said smiling.

-      Hi, Youngmin Oppa. –Ahjin said a little sad.

-      What happens? –Kwangmin asked her worried.

-      Nothing, it’s just that… whatever. –Ahjin sighed.

-      Ahjin, I know you since kinder garden. Tell me what happened. –Kwangmin said.

-      Nothing, really. –Ahjin said smiling falsely. “It’s just that your stupid friends continue bullying Kwangmin and there’s nothing I can do to stop it” Ahjin thought.

Biology class started and Youngmin didn’t know how to tell Gyuwon that their project was ruined.

-      Noona… -Youngmin said nervous.

-      Ah! Kwangmin-ah! Don’t forget we have to present our project tomorrow –Gyuwon said.

-       Noona… our project is… like… and omelet… -Youngmin said.

-      What? What do you mean? –Gyuwon said puzzled.

-      Someone did me a joke and crashed eggs in my locker, so now our project is ruined. –Youngmin said worried.

-      Mwo? But… you still have the project on your laptop, right? You just have to reprint it. –Gyuwon said.

-      Well… my laptop broke down and I lost all my files. –Youngmin said.

-      Mwo? Eotteoke! How are we going to finish our project tomorrow! –Gyuwon said panicking.

-      I still have the notes we did on the forest. We just need to add the investigations we did on the library. –Youngmin said trying to calm her down but inside he was also panicking.

-      Yeah… but that it’s going to take us so long… -Gyuwon said.

-      Don’t worry, if we get concentrated and work hard all the day we can do it. –Youngmin said.

-      Well… I guess. –Gyuwon said.

-      You can come to my house after school. Bring your laptop. I will go to the library at the break time and ask for the books. –Youngmin said.

-      Ok, so I will go to your house after school. –Gyuwon said and sighed.

“Do you understand now why I hate you and your friends so much? They are so immature and don’t care about other people” Gyuwon thought.

After school Gyuwon went to the twins’ house with Youngmin and Kwangmin. Their house looks like this.

Outside.

Inside.

Garden.

-      Umma! We’re home! –Kwangmin said.

-      Hyungs! – Hyunmin, the twins’ dongsaeng, run toward them and hugged them.

-      Hi! How was your school trip? –Kwangmin said.

-      It was awesome hyung! We went to ski! –Hyunmin said excited while Kwangmin was carrying him. -Kwangmin hyung! You bring a friend with you. –Hyunmin said staring at Gyuwon.

-      Uuhh.. neh! She’s Gyuwon noona. –Youngmin said.

-      Annyeonghaseyo Gyuwon noona! Hyunmin ibnida. –Hyunmin said bowing.

-      Annyeong! –Gyuwon said smiling and pinching Hyunmin’s cheeks. “He’s so cute” Gyuwon thought.

-      Gyuwon! –The twins’ mom said. –How is my daughter? – The twins’ mom and Gyuwon’s mom are friends. So she loves Gyuwon like her daughter.

-      Fine eomeonim. –Gyuwon said smiling.

-      We need to work on our school project. –Youngmin said.

-      Oh! Ok Kwangmin. Gyuwon, feel like in your home. –She said smiling.

-      Thanks eomeonim. –Gyuwon said smiling.

Gyuwon and Youngmin went upstairs to Kwangmin’s bedroom. “Aishh… I would prefer to go to my bedroom, it’s cooler than Kwangmin’s one. But I’m “Kwangmin” right now” Youngmin thought.

-      Ok, we need to start. –Gyuwon said opening her laptop.

-      I’m really tired. You can start with the notes on my notebook and I’ll help you later with the books investigation. –Youngmin yawned and lay on his bed.

-      What! No way Jo Kwangmin! You’re going to get up right now and help me with the project! –Gyuwon yelled upset and tried to get Youngmin up of the bed.

Youngmin held the headboard tight. Gyuwon continued pulling him and suddenly, she fell down on the floor and Youngmin accidentally fell on top her. Their eyes widened and their faces were so close that they almost kiss and they could feel their breath.  Their hearts were beating so fast.

-      Kwa…angmin get… off fro..oom m..me! -Gyuwon said stuttering. Youngmin immediately stood up and helped Gyuwon to stand up.

-      Mianhe… -Youngmin said. Gyuwon glared at him.

-      Just shut up. We have to start working on the project. –Gyuwon said and they both sit down on the desk and started working.

After a couple hours the twins’ mom knocked the door.

-      May I come in? –She said.

-      Neh Umma! –Youngmin said.

-      I just bring you some food. You must be hungry after working so hard. –She said smiling.

-      Thank you Umma. –Youngmin said.

-      Thank you so much Eomeonim. –Gyuwon said smiling.

-      Well, I leave you guys. –She said and left the room.

They ate their food and continued working on their project. It was already 1 am and they haven’t finished. The twins’ mom called Gyuwon’s mom to tell her that she was going to stay the night at her house.

-      It’s already 1 am and we haven’t finished. –Youngmin said yawning.

-      You can go to sleep right now. I will finish it in about an hour. –Gyuwon said.

-      No, I want to help you so we could finish it in about half hour and we can go to sleep. –Youngmin said rubbing his eyes. –Could you bring me a glass of water? I’m thirsty. –Youngmin said.

-      Ok, I’ll go for it. –Gyuwon said.

Gyuwon went to the kitchen for the water, but when she turned back to the room Youngmin had already fallen asleep on the desk. She put a blanket around him and sat down next to him. She stared at him, she didn’t know why but she felt her heart trembled. She stayed there staring at him his hair. “Today you showed me a different side of the Youngmin I know. You worked really hard.” She thought. She finished the project and fell asleep on the desk next to Youngmin.
