Chapter 14: It’s still not official Babo!

Kwangmin was in his class and saw Youngmin giggling like an idiot. “What’s wrong with him?” he thought.

He was messaging Ahjin because they both were good at math, so this class was boring for them.

KM: Hey! Ahjin-ah, have you seen Youngmin? He’s giggling like an idiot.

AJ: Yeah! He looks funny XD

KM: Whatever… he scares me sometimes. ¬¬’

“She’s even thinking about Youngmin right now… Wae?” He thought pouting.

AJ: K eke Oppa you look cute when you’re pouting >.<

“Omo! She said I looked cute!” Kwangmin thought smiling.

KM: Ahjin-ah. What do you think if we have lunch today together?

AJ: Yeah, of course. You must be with me for three months, remember?

KM: Yeah! How could I forget it?

It was lunch time and Youngmin asked Gyuwon to have lunch with him.

-      Noona… let’s have lunch together. –He said smiling.

-      Yes, you can eat with me and my friends.

-      But… what I meant with together was only you and me.

-      Why? Don’t you want to eat with my friends?

-      It’s not that. I just want to have lunch with my girlfriend.

-      Your what? I’m sorry Kwangmin but, when did you ask me if I wanted to be your girlfriend?

-      You’re right. Would you be my girlfriend? –He said winking.

-      No! – She said a little mad.

-      What? Why not?

-      Because that’s not a good proposal. It has to be romantic. –She said rolling her eyes.

-      Okay, okay. So, why don’t we go on a date tomorrow night?

-      Yes, that’s better babo! –She said and turned around with Youngmin behind her.

Meanwhile Kwangmin and Ahjin were having lunch together.

-      Oppa look! Youngmin Oppa and Gyuwon Unnie look so cute together. –Ahjin said smiling.

-      Remember now is Kwangmin Oppa. –Kwangmin said coughing.

-      Uhh… neh… mianhe. –She said whispering and Kwangmin smiled at her.

“Why does my heart beat so fast every time that Kwangmin Oppa smiles like that?” Ahjin thought.

-      Oppa, why are you smiling like that? –She said.

-      Because I thought you would be sad because Youngmin is spending so much time with Gyuwon, but I see you’re happy about them.

-      Actually, I was worried before because I thought you were the one that was dating her. –She said shyly.

She said that, but inside she was a little sad to see Youngmin dating Gyuwon because she knew that this time was real; she wasn’t like others of his girlfriends, she knew that Youngmin was really in love with her.

-      Yeah, I know it, you told me that remember?

-      Uhh.. neh. -She said nodding.

-      Ahjin, would you like to go to Lotte World after school? You know that I owe you a date.

-      Really? Yay! It has been a long since I don’t go there. –Ahjin said excited.

After school Kwangmin and Ahjin went to Lotte World together.

-      Let’s go Oppa! –Ahjin said taking his hand and running to the rollercoaster.

“She’s always so happy and cute” Kwangmin thought smiling.

They rode on the rollercoaster like four times because it’s Ahjin’s favorite attraction. 

-      If I get on the rollercoaster one more time, I think I’m going to faint. –Kwangmin said dizzy.

-      C’mon Oppa! Just one more time! – She said shaking his arm.

-      Youngmin Oppa! –a girl’s voice interrupted them.

-      Oh! Hi! –Kwangmin said smiling. She was Yuri, one of the queenkas of the school, and yeah, Youngmin’s ex gilrfriend

-      So, is she your new girlfriend? –She said pointing to Ahjin.

-      Uhmm.. No. she’s just my friend Ahjin. –He said smiling. “I wish she would” Kwangmin thought. Ahjin looked at him with widened eyes.

-      Really? Nice to meet you Ahjin. –She said bowing. –So…you’re still single. You should call me for going out. –Yuri said smiling and winking which made Ahjin put a little jealous. She was used to Youngmin having girls’ attention, but not to Kwangmin.

-      Nice to meet you Yuri. –She said smiling. –Oppa. I need to come back home. –She said pouting.

-      Really? Mianhe Yuri, we can talk other day. I’ve gotta go. –He said smiling and bowing.

-      Neh Oppa. See you later. Annyeong Ahjin. –She said waving.

-      Annyeong! –She said waving with a fake smile.

They turned and Ahjin put her arm around Kwangmin’s arm. Kwangmin just smiled at her not knowing she was jealous.

-      So, I’ll take you home.

-      Mmm… Oppa I want an ice cream.

-      Ok, I will buy it for you, but I thought you said that you needed to go home immediately.

-      You’re overreacting Oppa, I just said I needed to go home.

Kwangmin bought the ice creams and they sat on a bench.

-      Oppa… are you going to go out with Yuri? –Ahjin said shyly.

-      What? –He asked confused.

-      Nothing…

-      Tell me. –He demanded.

-      Well, I was thinking about… if you were going to accept Yuri’s proposal. You know, about going out with her someday.

-      Oohh! (with an :O face). Why do you want to know? –Kwangmin asked teasing her.

-      Because I’m your friend. Just forget it. –She said pissed off. “I preferred when you had brown hair”

-      Don’t worry. I won’t go out with her.

-      Oppa, when are you going to come back to your normal life?

-      I’ve already told you, in about two more months.

-      It’s just that I still don’t get used to the blonde Kwangmin.

-      Yeah. I still don’t get used to it either.

-      I remember when we were younger I could differ between you and Youngmin. I felt bad because I didn’t notice you were Kwangmin and not Youngmin. Maybe because I was so amazed the Youngmin finally saw me. I was so happy, because I thought he could really fall in love with me… but I was wrong. -She sighed.

-      Mianhe Ahjin-ah. –Kwangmin said looking at her.

-      It’s not your fault. I know that you were trying to make me happy. But… I also have to accept I felt relieved that you weren’t dating Unnie.

-       Do you feel disappointed when you knew that I was Kwangmin and not Youngmin? –Kwangmin asked her.

-      Not really. I just opened my eyes to the reality. As always, you were the one that has been always by my side no matter what, and that makes me feel happy because I thought I was losing my best friend.

-      Really?

-      Yeah! We are best friends forever remember? Even if you have hundreds of girlfriends I will be your best friend, don’t forget it. Arasso?

-      Arasso. –“Even when I wanted, you’re the only one for me”

-      Let’s go! I need to come back home or my Umma is going to kill me.

Kwangmin took Ahjin to her house.

-      Annyeong Ahjin-ah. –He said waving and smiling.

-      Annyeong Oppa! –She said waving and the she hugged him.

Kwangmin opened his eyes widened at her sudden action. She was still hugging him and resting her head on his shoulder.

-      Gomawo Oppa… Gomawo for being with me all the time in the difficult moments. –She whispered.

-      You know I’ll always be here for you Ahjin, no matter what. –He said hugging her back. She went back and smiled at him.

-      Annyeong Oppa! See you tomorrow!

-      Annyeong!
