Chapter 24: Confession.

It’s been 3 months since Gyuwon and Youngmin broke up. Since then, Youngmin goes clubbing every night and gets drunk. He’s the same cold and rude Youngmin he used to be.

Donghyun, Minwoo and Kwangmin are worried about him, because they had never seen Youngmin so depressed and they also know C.A.P. could get advantage of it.

Kwangmin is at the school with Ahjin:

-      Oppa, read this! –Ahjin said excited handing him a letter.

Kwangmin opened it nervous. Ahjin has been receiving love letters from a “Secret Admirer” for two weeks, but the worst was that he didn’t even have idea of who it could be. He was afraid of losing her.

He unfolded the paper carefully and read the letter:

“I know you’re curious about who I am. Even when I’m a shy person, I think I had gathered courage, meet me at the park next to the lake tomorrow after school.

From: Your secret admirer”

Kwangmin stared at the letter speechless. It was too late for confessing his love for her. He felt pain in his heart.

-      Why don’t you say anything Oppa? –Ahjin said confused, in the bottom of her heart, she wanted to see Kwangmin at least a little jealous, because she knew she had fallen for him.

-      Are you going to meet him? –Kwangmin said trying to hide his emotions.

-      Yes, I want to know him.

-      In that case, I’m happy for you. I’m so happy you finally find someone who really loves you and that you forgot about Youngmin. –Kwangmin said faking a smile. –I have to go to class. See you later. –He said and left.

“Why are you so stupid? I just… I don’t know, maybe we’re not destined to be together. I just want her to be happy, right? But why can’t I just tell her what I feel? I love you… is that so difficult to say?” Kwangmin thought face palming mentally.

Kwangmin arrived to his home after his piano classes and saw Youngmin dressing for going out.

-      Hyung, are you going out tonight too? –He asked him.

-      Yes, why? –Youngmin said looking himself at the mirror.

-      Nothing… -Kwangmin said quietly and sighed.

-      Is there anything wrong? You look sad. –Youngmin said looking at him, but he already knew what happened to him.

-      It’s… Ahjin. You know I like her, no, I love her, but she has been receiving letters from a “Secret Admirer” for two weeks. But the worst is that tomorrow after classes she’s going to meet him, and I don’t know what I’m going to do. –Kwangmin said hopeless.

-      Ha ha ha ha ha ha! My dongsaeng you’re so innocent, you didn’t even recognize your hyung’s handwriting. –Youngmin said laughing loud.

-      What? What are you talking about? –Kwangmin said puzzled.

-      I wrote all the cheesy love letters to Ahjin, because I know you both are freaking in love, but you are so stupid that you haven’t even confessed to her! I thought that with this you were going to gather courage to do it, but you’re just crying like a baby. Whatever, what could I expect from the nerdy Kwangmin? –Youngmin said arrogantly. Kwangmin’s eyes filled of tears and his hands were shaking. –C’mon Kwangmin don’t cry. You can take all the credits of the “Secret Admirer” thing and confess to her tomorrow. –Youngmin said rolling his eyes. Kwangmin started crying and hugged Youngmin tightly.

-      Ok, now, what the hell are you doing? Let me go Kwangmin. This is so weird. –Youngmin said pushing him but Kwangmin was holding him tightly.

-      Thank you hyung! I’m so glad it was you and no other person. I promise you I’ll confess my feelings for her tomorrow! –Kwangmin said smiling.

-      Ok, ok… but please let me go. -Youngmin said. Kwangmin broke the hug and smiled widely.

-      I love you hyung! –Kwangmin said grinning.

-      You’re scaring me. –Youngmin said widening his eyes.

Youngmin went out clubbing while Kwangmin stayed in his house thinking how he was going to confess to Ahjin.

The next day at school, Kwangmin was smiling happily and Ahjin was disappointed because she thought he would stop her, but he didn’t.

“I guess he doesn’t feel the same for me. I was so stupid for thinking that he could be in love with me…” Ahjin thought sad.

Kwangmin didn’t attend to the last class that was Physical Education, because he went to the park to prepare everything.

He told the teacher he was sick, Ahjin was worried about him, but she knew that she had to meet her secret admirer after school.

After physical education, she walked to the park. She was the only one there, because that park is not very popular. Well, except for Kwangmin that was hiding under a tree and behind some bushes.

She stopped in front of a tree that had a note:

She took off the paper and walked to the direction that the arrow indicated. She saw another note on a tree trunk.

She smiled because she was getting curious about who he was. She continued walking and saw another note:

When she read this one, she immediately thought about Kwangmin, he was the only one that knew her perfectly, but, she still wasn’t sure about it.

She continued walking and this time she saw the note on a park bench.

When she read it she giggled and started jumping of happiness because this time she was sure that it was Kwangmin.

“It’s him, it’s him. I can’t believe it” She thought happily.

She continued walking and saw the other note:

She smiled remembering all the memories they have together.

“You also have my heart” She thought taking the note.

She quickly took the last paper and run to the tree next to her. She found Kwangmin hiding behind the bushes, he was so nervous and when he saw Ahjin he blushed madly and hid his head on his knees.

Ahjin just smiled at his cuteness.

-      So, it was you Oppa. Aigoo, so cute and cheesy. I didn’t know this side of you. –She said teasingly putting her hands on her hips.

-      Well, I feel better now, I was going to tell my secret admirer that I couldn’t be with him because I was already in love with my best friend. –Ahjin said and Kwangmin stood up quickly. Ahjin smiled at him.

-      Yes, babo, I’m in love with you but it seems you never realized about it. –Ahjin said chuckling.

-      But… you had always been in love with Youngmin… -Kwangmin said quietly and looking down.

-      Maybe, I have always been in love with you but I hadn’t realized about it, until I thought you were going out with Gyuwon I felt… sad, and then all those girls surrounding you made me feel jealous for an unknown reason that now I know. I love you, Kwangmin and I want to be with you forever.

-      Well, you are everything for me Ahjin, since the first time we met, when we were kids, I fell in love with you. you are an amazing girl and even when I tried to ignore this feeling because I always thought this was impossible, I couldn’t, because my love for you is stronger than anything in this world and the reason that I didn’t tell you this before is because I was so scared that you rejected me and that would ruin our friendship. But I couldn’t keep this feeling anymore. I love you so much, I really do.

Ahjin hugged him tightly and looked at him in the eyes. Then she tiptoed and gave him a peck on the lips. Kwangmin blushed madly and then smiled shyly. They walked in the park holding hands.

-      Do you want an ice cream? –Kwangmin said still blushed. Ahjin nodded in agreement. –Ok, let’s go to the ice cream shop. –He said smiling and they started running to the ice cream shop.

-      Wait, Oppa… you’re running too fast. –Ahjin said.

Kwangmin bought two ice creams and they sat on a table. They chatted while they were eating their ice creams like they always do. They were so happy together.

“I can’t believe this is happening. I feel like I’m dreaming, no this is better than in my dreams. I can’t be happier. Ahjin is everything for me” Kwangmin thought happily.

From far away, Youngmin was watching them. “Such a kids, they look so cute together, I’m glad Kwangmin finally is happy with her. At least they are happy” Youngmin thought smiling and wishing good luck to the new couple.
