Chapter 1: I have an idea!

The twins Youngmin and Kwangmin and their dongsaeng Hyunmin are getting ready for the school in their house.

-      Youngmin! Kwangmin! Hyunmin! Hurry up! – The twins’ mom said. Kwangmin and Hyunmin went down stairs.

-      Omma, we’re ready. – Kwangmin said.

-      Youngmin! Hurry up! – The twins’ mom screamed.

-      He always spend a lot of time for getting ready, Omma. – Hyunmin said complaining.

-      I’m almost ready. – Youngmin screamed and went down stairs angry.

-      C’mon Youngmin hurry up, your dongsaengs are going to be late for your fault.

-      Aishh Omma I need time for getting ready. – Youngmin said.

-      C’mon let’s go boys! – Their mom said.

Kwangmin and Youngmin are twins but they have different personalities. Kwangmin likes to study and is introvert and Youngmin likes to make fun of people and is extrovert.

At school Youngmin’s friends are Donghyun, Jeongmin and Minwoo. All of them are popular because of their musical talents and good looking. They like to make jokes and bother people.

Kwangmin friends are Hyunseong and Ahjin. Hyunseong is a kind hearted guy and Ah Jin is a shy girl and Kwangmin’s childhood best friend. They are considerate freaks.

Youngmin is walking in the hallway and see Gyuwon. She is the most popular girl in the school. She’s smart, beautiful and athletic; all the boys want to date with her. Even when she’s popular she’s kind hearted.

-      Hey! Good morning sweetie. – Youngmin said resting his arm on a locker.

-      Aishh. Youngmin ah. Don’t call me sweetie please. – Gyuwon said.

-      Ok, what would you prefer? Honey? – Youngmin said smiling and getting closer to her face.

-      I prefer you stay away from me. – Gyuwon said getting way from him.

-      Do you want to go on a date with me this Saturday? – Youngmin asked her with a smirk.

-      No thanks Youngmin. Don’t you get tired of asking me that every day? You already know the answer. – Gyuwon said and turned around to go to her class.

“She’s crazy for me” Youngmin thought. 

-      Hey! Hey! Hey! You got rejected for one more time. It’s your 3654 with this in this year. – Jeongmin said mocking.

-       Wait, hyung a year only has 365 days. – Minwoo said confused.

-      Minwoo, do you know what sarcasm means? – Donghyun said making fun of him.

-      What I don’t understand is… Why do you want to go out with Gyuwon Noona when there are hundreds of girls that would die for you? – Jeongmin said looking himself at the mirror.

-      I’ve already explained you that like a hundred times. I’m the alpha male and Gyuwon Noona is the alpha female; we need to be together it’s the Mother Nature rules. – Youngmin said.

-      Oh! You’re right hyung we need to take care of the environment. – Minwoo said.

-      Somedays I ask myself why Minwoo is in our group. – Donghyun said upset.

Mean while… Kwangmin, Ah Jin and Hyunseong were talking in the hallway.

-      Kwangmin-ah, could you explain me algebra after school? – Hyunseong said.

-      Mmmm… yeah of course, but today I have piano classes, so you can go around seven o’clock. – Kwangmin said.

-      Ok, no problem. – Hyunseong said.

-      May I go to your house too? – Ah Jin said excited.

-      Why? You’re good at algebra. – Kwangmin said.

-      Yeah… but I want to see Youngmin Oppa. – Ahjin said.

-      Honestly, I don’t know why you like my hyung. He’s so egocentric. – Kwangmin said upset. “Why can’t you see me instead of Youngmin?” Kwangmin thought sad.

-      He’s not! – Ahjin said a little angry.

-      Guys, don’t fight let’s go to class. – Hyunseong said.

Biology class started and the teacher came in the classroom.

-      Good morning class. – The teacher said.

-      Good morning teacher.

-      Today we’re going to make partners. We’re going to make a project about an animal. Choose your partner and you’re going to investigate everything about that animal; you will present your projects at the end of this month. Ok?

-      Yes! – All the class said.

-      You can make your partners, except for Kwangmin and Gyuwon; you’re the best of the class so you’re going to make this project together. – The teacher said.

All the boys were disappointed because they wanted to be Gyuwon’s partner.

-      Aishh! I can’t believe that the freak nerd of Kwangmin is Noona’s partner. – Youngmin said angry while lots of girls were surrounding him asking for being his partner. – Girls calm down, which one of you has the best grades after Gyuwon.

-      Me Oppa! – Ahjin said happily.

-      Oh! Yeah! Ahjin-ah you will be my partner. - Youngmin said smiling.

-      Guys please choose your animal and write it on a paper with your names. - The teacher said.

-      Hi, Kwangmin-shi, right? – Gyuwon said politely.

-      Yes, and you’re Gyuwon-shi, right? – Kwangmin asked shyly.

-      Yes, nice to meet you. – Gyuwon said trying to look at his face. – Oh! You look alike that jerk of Youngmin. – Gyuwon said surprised.

-      Uh… yeah, he’s my twin brother. – Kwangmin said.

-      Really? I didn’t know that he had a twin. – She said amazed.

-      Well… we prefer not to tell people about it. – He said.

-      I see why, you’re so different to your brother. No offense, but I don’t like your brother a lot.

-      Me neither. – Kwangmin said smiling.

-      Especially his group of friends that like to bully everybody, they think that they’re the F4 or something, they’re so childish. But, you’re a nice guy. – Gyuwon said smiling.

-      Well… we have to choose one animal. What do you think about the woodpecker? – Kwangmin said.

-      Yeah, I like it. There’s a forest near of the city where we can go to investigate its behavior on the nature. – Gyuwon said excited.

-      I like that idea. We’re going to have the best project. – Kwangmin said smiling.

The bell rang and everyone stood up and went to their next class. On the hallway Youngmin was talking with his friends.

-      I hate Kwangmin so much. I mean… he’s a stupid nerd but Gyuwon Noona was so nice with him. – Youngmin said angrily.

-      That’s because they both are nerds. – Jeongmin said.

-      Kwangmin can be a nerd but Gyuwon is not, she’s smart. – Youngmin said replying.

-      Whatever. – Donghyun said.

Mean while… Kwangmin and his friends were also talking about Biology’s project.

-      I’m going to be Youngmin oppa’s partner! – Ahjin said excited.

-      I don’t know why you’re so excited. He always let all the work to his partner and takes all the credits. – Hyunseong said.

-      Kwangmin-ah you should be excited too. You’re with Gyuwon unnie. She’s the most popular girl in the school. – Ah Jin said smiling.

-      Uh… yeah, she’s a nice girl. – Kwangmin said distracted.

Youngmin was thinking in English class:

“Mmmm… what if we change roles? Yeah! Youngmin you’re a genius! Of course, I’m going to be Gyu Won’s partner and she’s going to be nice with me because she’s gonna think that I’m the nerdy of my brother. I’m totally a genius, a handsome genius. But, how am I going to persuade Kwangmin to do that?”
