Shin Riho is the smartest student of her class, but Son Hyunwoo beats her during the exams and it turns out he's in the 1st rank now.

"I'm going to die!" Minhyuk whines on his seat, staring at his notebook full of his notes no one really understands even him. The exam week is in front of them, the proctor of the monthly examination still nowhere in sight. This is giving them a lot of time to scan their notes, especially a girl at the very front by the name of Shin Riho. Also dubbed as the Smartypants followed by Son Hyunwoo, or Shownu, as he likes to be called.

"What do you even expect from her? I actually like her obsession with sudying." Kihyun points out. Hoseok looks at him weirdly and corrects, "Do you mean her diligence?"

"No, I clearly mean obsession, as no one should be obsessed with studying and any obsession for one thing leads to dangerous—"

"Okay, okay, you're ruining my momentum here." Jooheon mumbles. For the first time ever being seen by his four friends, he is reviewing for the exams, "What?"

"You are being suspicious right now, like, I'm not even looking at Jooheon."

"As far as I know," Hoseok grumbles at Kihyun. Minhyuk shakes his head, turns away from the group and reviews this time, "you're the smartest—next to Shownu—but you're babbling nonsense right now."

"Shut up." Shownu glares at them.

That is all it takes for the two to stop bickering.

Okay, I got this, no need to panic. Riho blows out deep breaths for more than three times, flipping her notes as fast as she can as her eyes roam about aimlessly. Some of her classmates look at her in awe wondering how can she do such impossible thing and they keep on staring at her. It always happens, and Riho has been immune to it so she lets them be.

The proctor of the examination goes in the room. Several thick stacks of papers are enveloped in his muscular arms, slamming them down on the table. Students jump from nervousness.

"Keep your notes away. We'll be starting in a minute."

The exams goes on smootly, some whinings and groans and what the hell is this we didn't learn this . The proctor of course just shushes them, threatening the students to tear their papers agonizingly slow if they don't zip their mouths and just answer what the questions are trying to ask for. Riho sighs in satisfaction because she went across some terms they haven't learned yet, but there are in the test questionnaires.

"Hey," Mingyuk whispers to Shownu, "Help me here."

"Lee Minhyuk." He  and goes back to his test paper, "No cheating please, or I'll mark your paper with an  F in no time."

"Yes sir." Riho mumbles with the whole class. This is so easy!

The next few days, everyone starts concluding that they have failed nor passed as they wait for the results to come out. Riho is confident with her answers so she tells herself to not worry, staring at students who are almost about to cry. If they don't pass the test, then might as well hang themselves as they say.

A member of the Student Council and a teacher saunters pass the cafeteria, grabbing the students attention and they follow the two. Several papers and a stapler occupy their hands. The student and the teacher face the News Board, stamping about the papers that include if the student passes or not.
