Hyungsik has the perfect date and how it will all come down in his head. But then the rain teases him.

"Let's see... I'll pick her up at around 3, we'll walk around for a while—is a movie okay? Nah."

Hyungsik bites on the pen cap and crosses out several options of his supposed-to-be-awesome date before replacing them with much more realistic ideas. 

If only he helped Doojun a week before, he wouldn't fret over it so much now because that best friend of his has very amazing ideas. All the time. Ara needs so much more than just a simple date. It will be their first date and he doesn't want to mess up.

Hyungsik's phone rings and he automatically picks up, a smile complimenting his features when he hears her from the other end.

"Hi."

"Hi."

And they giggle like persons new to romance. Which is really the case. They have been dating for a few months but never had a date yet, also, they still get those overly excited butterflies fluttering around their tummies. Hyungsik by now is spinning around his swivel chair, while Ara is already tucked in bed.

"What are you doing?"

"Oh? Just... stuff." He bites on his lip. "You?"

"I'm about to sleep."

"I see."

How should he open the topic but at the same time avoid being caught that they're going on a date?

Hyungsik clears his throat. "By the way," Once more. "You don't have plans tomorrow, am I right?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Um..." He scratches his head. "I just suddenly remembered. You told me that a week ago...?"

"Really?" Ara frowns. She doesn't remember anything but since it's Hyungsik, she slides it off. "I don't have any."

"Great! I mean, good night!"

"Good night."

"I love you."

He quickly ends the call though sad to say he didn't get a reply back. He feels he's already going to die of happiness.

Ara looks at her phone in disbelief but with the giddy feeling she sleeps peacefully.

Hyungsik spent at least an hour trying to look very nice in front of his full-length mirror. His clothes are scattered on his bed. Just thinking about cleaning the mess later on is making his mood loose. He shakes his head and with a last spray of his perfume, he exits his apartment.

He arrives at Ara's place after fifteen minutes, taking a quick look of his profile on the open window. The door opens and he smiles as widely as he can.

"Why are you here?"

"Good morning, my Ara." And he welcomes himself inside. "Get dressed."

"Why?"

"We're going somewhere!"

Hyungsik finds himself smiling like a fool, mostly trying to hide it to himself. Ara has picked up that they're indeed in a date and she feels happy. So happy she feels like she can die now.

"Wait, no." Ara pouts. Hyungsik takes her hand and they stroll around the park, eating candies, going in different shops, secretly taking pictures of each other when the other isn't looking. At one point they get scolded for loitering so they have to change locations.
