clover necklace and the hairpin
Believe in FateIt was the weekend after their meeting, Jaejoong was lying on his bed doing nothing. Until his mother bursted into his room, he looked at his mother weirdly.
“What is it mom?” Jaejoong asked.
“You’re going on a date with Soojung today.” She said.
“What… but I’m tired. It’s a saturday. I was going to sleep in and then go over to hang with my friends.” Jaejoong said.
“Get up, it’s almost noon. Pick her up and spend the day together.” She said.
“Fine.” Jaejoong said.
He changed into a sky blue sweater with a white shirt underneath, he wore black jeans and topped it off with matching hightops. He grabbed his phone and headed out to the garage and jumped in his car. He pulled up her house on the gps and started driving, once he arrived. He was greeted by their maids, he was lead into the canopy by the garden.
“It’s more beautiful in the daytime than at night.” Jaejoong said.
“I know.”
Jaejoong turned around and saw Soojung, she was sweating under the hot sun. He saw that she was still wearing the practice hanboks.
“Still practicing?” Jaejoong said.
“Yeah, what bring you here?” Soojung said.
“We’re going on a date.” Jaejoong said.
“Really…”
“Yeah, my mom told me that.. she lied to me..”
“It’s fine we can go around town, I needed a break from dancing.” Soojung said.
“Does Minjung want to come along too.. She is probably like you too, needing a break from dancing.” Jaejoong said.
“Minjung is out with my parents, I am the only one practicing. I’ll come back, wait here. I’ll tell the maids to bring you some water or juice. What do you want?” Soojung asked.
“Orange juice would be nice.” Jaejoong said.
“I’ll be back then.” Soojung said.
Jaejoong sat down and looked off into the garden, he wondered what they were going to be doing in town. He had never wandered off into town or done anything besides drive to his friends homes to hang out.
“Jaejoong.”
Jaejoong turned and saw Soojung, he let out a laugh. She looked at him weirdly.
“What?” Soojung asked.
“I thought you would a dress but I like this better.” Jaejoong said.
“Hey, I’m not like those girl. I dress for comfort.” Soojung said.
“See that you’re wearing a snapback means you aren’t normal.” Jaejoong laughed.
“Is the hat too much…”
“No, it’s cute.” Jaejoong said.
“Then let’s go.” Soojung said.
Jaejoong walked over to Soojung, they walked out of the gate and he walked to his car. He turned around and saw Soojung standing by the road already.
“Where are you going?” Jaejoong asked.
“We can walk there, it’s not far and there’s not really parking. So it might be difficult to park there.” Soojung said.
Jaejoong walked over to her side and they talked while they walked down to the center of town. They arrived outside of a small cafe, Soojung pointed and they walked inside. They sat down by the window, Soojung looked outside.
“So, is this where you like to come?” Jaejoong said.
“Yeah, I come here with my sister after practices and eat to our heart's content.” Soojung said.
“What do you usually have?” Jaejoong asked.
“I get the chocolate cake and caramel frappe.” Soojung said.
“What’s good here.” Jaejoong asked.
“The coconut cake is their specialty.” Soojung said.
“I’ll get that.” Jaejoong said.
She bowed and left, Soojung stared out the window. Jaejoong admired her face, he smiled.
