Believe in FateSoojung held the fan out and watched her movements in the mirror. She ce and raised the fan over her head. She tilts her head in the opposite direction and give a look to her teacher and he nods to her. Soojung pulls the fan down along with her as she bows and moves from side to side. The teacher was watching her and he was getting annoyed. Her steps were getting slower and she was not connecting the fan well with her body.
“Stop, stop.” He said.
Soojung froze and then she turned to face her teacher, he had his arms crossed.
“We’ve went over this same dance two hours ago and you still forget what steps connect together.” He said.
Soojung bowed and stood up to wipe the sweat off her forehead. He came to her side and shook her by the shoulders playfully.
“Soojung, please clear your mind and focus only on dancing. Your emotions make this dance sad when it’s suppose to be joyful.” He said.
Soojung nodded and held the fan out to her side and waited for the music to start again. She looked at herself in the mirror, she noticed Jaejoong sitting with his back against the wall. He smiled and waved to her, she looked at herself again and the teacher looked to Jaejoong.
“Your fiance has been here for over three hours, are you not going to go with him?” He asked.
“Music.” Soojung said.
The teacher crossed his arms again and turned to the student playing the drum. She shook her head but he turned back to Soojung.
“This is it for practice today, maybe if you go out with him you can focus better. All you’ve been doing these days is dancing.” He said.
Soojung didn’t move from her position, he sighed and looked over to the drum girl motioning her to leave with him. She stood up and came to his side and they both left the room. Soojung continued to dance and Jaejoong got up from his seat and grabbed her hand gently. Soojung didn’t look at him and he pulled her closer to him.
“Soojung, listen to me. I want…”
Soojung pulled her hand away and walked to get her towel before leaving the room. Jaejoong let out a sigh, he ran after her. He stopped when he saw Soojung and Mrs. Choi. Jaejoong slowly walked over and he smiled to Mrs. Choi.
“Good afternoon, Mrs. Choi.” Jaejoong said.
Soojung didn’t even bother to look at him, Mrs. Choi looked to Soojung.
“Honey, why don’t you take a break and go out to have some fun with Jaejoong.” Mrs. Choi said.
Soojung nodded and then proceeded to walk down the hall. Mrs. Choi looked at Jaejoong and smiled.
“Hopefully you can help her adjust back?” Mrs. Choi said.
“I will try.” Jaejoong said.
“Please do take her out for some fresh air.” Mrs. Choi said.
“I’m going to take her to my house, I want to show her something special that I prepared.” Jaejoong said.
“Make sure she is back by 10pm.” Mrs. Choi said.
“I’ll try to talk to her and hopefully she talks back and tells me what’s been bothering her.” Jaejoong said.
“You should get ready to leave, I’m going to make my way to the dance room to talk to the teacher.” Mrs. Choi said.
Jaejoong bowed and went his separate way. He waited for Soojung outside by his car, he leaned on his car with arms crossed. He checked his watch and it’s been 30 minutes already. He watched the gates and waited. The gates slowly open to reveal Soojung, she was in a white summer dress with butterfly prints. She wore heels and her hair fell down to her shoulders with a white bow in the back of her head. She tugged on the strap of her yellow bag and walked towards Jaejoong. He stood up and walked to her, he took her hands into his.
“You look stunning.” Jaejoong said.
Soojung looked at him and then she just followed behind him blankly. Jaejoong opened the door for her and Soojung got in. Jaejoong closed the door and ran to his side and got in. He turned to look at Soojung who was staring blankly outside. Jaejoong used his hand to gently grab her chin to face her towards him.
“Do you have anywhere you would like to go before we go to my house?” Jaejoong asked.
Soojung shook her head and pulled away to stare outside of the window. Jaejoong turned the car on and they drove towards his home. When they arrived Soojung got out before Jaejoong and she looked around at his home. It was huge, almost a mansion but smaller. Jaejoong came to her side and grabbed her hand.
“Hope you remembered how to draw.” Jaejoong said.
Soojung gave him a confused look but followed behind him. They entered the front doors and two maids were happily greeting them.
“Welcome home young master.” They said.
“Is everything ready?” Jaejoong asked.
