Bae Joohyun is the total definition of an accident prone klutz. She was choking on a ramen, when Wendy suddenly appeared from nowhere, pretty lips and eyes, golden locks and pale skin. Joohyun could not believe this pretty woman just saved her, death from ramen has a bad rep now that she thinks of it.

“Whoa there, thanks for saving me...” Joohyun said in between coughs and watery eyes.

“You mean you can see me!?” Wendy asks through worried eyes.

“Am I not supposed to see you? My eyesight is good , I am offended.” Joohyun replied but the chick already vanished.

Joohyun absent-mindedly crossed a street when Wendy appeared for the 2nd time, “Are you stalking me??!” Wendy rolled her eyes and said:  “I am here when your life is in danger, which means, in every 4 hours or so granting your record...”  and she vanishes again, Joohyun took note of the girl’s as she walks away.

“Aren’t angels supposed to fly? That’s a lame one.”

The next time, Joohyun got invited by her friends to an ice-skating rink when Wendy slides next to her.  “Are you doing this on purpose?” Wendy is now clearly irritated.

“When will you ever stop stalking?” Joohyun countered. “Also, I am not doing this on purpose, do you want me to do it on purpose?” Joohyun snarkily added.

Wendy now pissed, vanishes again: “This will be the last time you’ll ever see me, and stop staring at my when I walk away!”

Joohyun miraculously endured a month without any injuries which means  a month of not seeing Wendy too. Her friends set her up on a blind date one night, and Taeyeon has been nothing but a total sweetheart and both of them are clearly enjoying the rest of the date.

 Taeyeon excused herself to the restroom when Wendy appeared on the opposite side of the table. Joohyun could only scoff: “What do you want this time? I thought you will be gone forever?”

Wendy shrugged: “Protecting you, as usual.”

“Protecting from what? I won’t drown in this glass of wine, trust me.”

“More like, protecting from who...”

“Who? Taeyeon’s a charmer, what are you on?”

“Yeah, tch!  A total charmer with homicidal tendencies...”

“You’re just jealous.”

“I’m not.”

“Do you want me to date you instead of Taeyeon? I’m totally single, you should know since you’re monitoring me.” Joohyun sneered at her supposed angel.

“Ugh! this is a waste of time, I have other souls to save... Also, for the love of God, stop staring at my ...” Wendy prepares to leave.

“But, I will always be your number one priority?” Joohyun shouted as Wendy left. She doesn’t need to hear a reply.

Ditching Taeyeon, Joohyun heads home and lies wide awake in her bed. 

“Maybe, getting a new bike tomorrow is a good idea...”
