Everyone has been embarrassed at one time or another. If I asked you what was your most embarrassing moment, you would definitely have something in mind.

Shuffling through an embarrassing moment would make you feel like jumping down a cliff or just shrinking out of existence.

However, my embarrassing moment had led me into meeting one of the most important people in my life, my boyfriend.

It was only a few months ago, on a very cheery Sunday morning. I attended my usual music theory class, arriving a few minutes later than I was supposed to, deliberately missing out the introductions of a few new students.

There were about 3 new students, 2 of them being guys. One of the guys particularly caught my attention. For some reason, he looked very similar, almost as if I had met him somewhere before.

I'd be lying if I said he wasn't handsome, it was the undeniable truth. In fact, he was beyond handsome. Unconsciously, I spent a few minutes mesmerizing his features before finally snapping back to reality and reverting my attention to class.

Coincidently, I was paired up with him to work as partners. We were assigned to write a short song, along with an instrument to perform in front of the class.

Knowing that class would end rather quickly, I ushered him to start right away. "What's your name?" I asked as I sat him down by a corner at the back of the room, my eyes still locked on the freshly printed papers as I scanned through them quickly.

He muttered his name under his breath before pulling out his song-writing book and setting it beside mine. Too caught up in the assignment, I only caught a part of his name. I'm pretty sure it starts with M. Mike?  I pondered before quickly shuffling the thoughts away.

Time passed by quickly, and it was soon our time to perform. We quickly went to the front as we pulled out our instruments. The so-called Mike was positioning himself to strum the guitar while I sat on the stool beside him.

"This is a song written by Mike and I," I introduced as I bowed to the audience politely.

I raised my eyebrows in confusion as I watched the crowd flooded with comments, their heads shaking slightly as they spoke. Did I do something wrong? I thought, my eyebrows ceasing deeper before briefly catching one of their comments.

"Who's Mike?" they whispered as they exchanged uncertain looks. "Uhh, Mike's my partner. He's a new student," I said as I cleared my throat, h
