Lay paced around his room, frustrated because of what he just read online. Someone had caught Sehun going to Seoul University, and Lay knew that the only reason Sehun would go there was to see Josy. Luckily no one spotted the two together, but if Sehun kept being careless things would get bad for both parties. Fast. And talking to Sehun would be pointless since Sehun now saw him as a rival. The only reasonable thing to do was to talk to Josy.

It had been a while since he had seen her and it made him feel anxious that Sehun was going to see her. Despite his kind demeanor, Lay didn’t want to lose to Sehun in regards to Josy. Who knew how long it had been since Sehun last saw Josy? Lay needed to talk to her soon, so he sent her a text, asking her to meet up with him as soon as possible.

As soon as Josy received Lay’s text, her heart started to quickly beat, from excitement and nervousness. Of course she was excited that Lay texted her, she liked Lay. But the text came off as really serious, and that made her nervous. Even though Lay didn’t specify why they were meeting, Josy had the feeling that it had something to do with Sehun. She decided that there was no point in putting off meeting Lay, so she texted back that she would meet him at the dorm soon.

During the entire taxi ride to the house Josy felt calm, but as soon as she stepped out in front of the EXO dorm she could feel her heart drop to her stomach. Josy was still worried that Lay was angry at her for not telling him about staying in Korea. She stood in front of the door for a few minutes, trying to psych herself up for this meeting. After all, he wouldn’t just tell her to come if he was planning on just yelling at her, right? Once Josy gathered her thoughts and her courage, she quickly rang the doorbell to the dorm.

It wasn’t long before Lay opened the door, staring at Josy with dark eyes. “Come in,” he quickly greeted, leading the way to his room.

Josy’s eyes widened as she felt anxiety course through her body. Was Lay angry at her? She didn’t know what to think since he didn’t greet her kindly. As soon as they were alone in Lay’s room, Josy waited for him to say the first word.

“So I heard that Sehun went to visit you on campus,” Lay stated flatly. He stared at Josy with an intense look.

“What? How do you know that?” Josy didn’t think that Sehun would tell Lay such things, but she had no idea how Lay would know something like that.

“There’s an article online.” Lay didn’t articulate any more information.

Josy in a breath.”Did anyone see us together? I told him that it was a bad idea, but he just showed up out of nowhere!”

Lay gave a deep sigh and shook his head. “Listen, I thought that you were going to be careful about him.”

“It’s not like I invited him though.” Josy was starting to get frustrated. Lay was nice and all, but it wasn’t his place to tell her what to do. “And besides, what’s the big deal? Even if he did come see me that’s our business.”

“I know it’s not my business, but I care about you. I’ve always been looking out for you. What did he want with you?”

As soon as Josy heard Lay speak, she started to feel bad. She was overreacting and she knew it. “I’m sorry,” she apologized. “It’s just I’m so frustrated and in a daze after everything that happen, and then Sehun came and not only apologized, but he also told me that he wanted to date me. I’m just confused.”

“He wants to date you?” Lay asked in shock. “And what do you think about it?”

“Well I’m confused. I like you obviously, but I can’t say that I don’t like him either.”

Lay got quiet and just sat down in his chair. The silence stretched on, and Josy was starting to get worried that she hurt Lay’s feelings. She slowly walked over to him, sitting on the arm of his chair, and laid her hand on his shoulder.

“Listen, I get the situation, and I know that it’s hard for you. But you have to trust me that it’s hard for me too. I don’t know what to do and I’m so confused about everything.” Josy took a deep breath and prepared herself. “Lay, I like you too. You’re nice and sweet and obviously you’re super handsome, but the problem is that I still have feelings for Sehun. And it feels wrong for me to commit myself to one person when I still have feelings for another. I just want to be 100% genuine with the guy I’m with.” Josy stood back and looked at Lay, not sure how he would react to her comment.

Lay sighed before grabbing Josy, pulling her into his lap. He nestled his head against the back of Josy’s shoulder and said, “Okay. I understand. I just want what’s best for you, and if it’s for you to date Sehun too then I’m fine with you dating the both of us to figure things out.”

Lay closed his eyes. He didn’t want Josy to see how worried and hurt he was. He liked her, and for her to say that she liked Sehun too really twisted his gut. In the back of his mind he knew that it was possible for Sehun to win her over. And despite Lay not wanting Josy to be with Sehun, who was he to stop her from being happy if Sehun is the one for her.
