Later that day Josy waited anxiously for Angela to come back to the dorm. She paced back and forth, not sure about what to even say about what happened. Angela soon came in, looking confused and worried, quickly shutting the door behind her before falling onto her bed and screaming into her pillow.

“What happened?” Josy asked. She didn’t know what to make of Angela’s reaction, and she couldn’t tell if it was a good or bad one.

“I don’t know what to do anymore with anything,” Angela grumbled. “I think things are going to get bad really fast.”

“What do you mean?”

“I agreed to date Xiumin. I’m so stupiddddd. Why did I agree to that? He was so ing mean when he rejected me.”

“Wait . . . so does that mean you’re going to date Tao and Xiumin?” Josy’s faced showed her shock and she gave Angela a look. “I don’t know about that . . .”

“You think I don’t know it’s a bad idea?” Angela sat up and buried her head in her hands. “I like him, okay? I like him a lot, but I told Tao I’d give him a chance. And I don’t know, Xiumin went out of his way to come to a public place to apologize to me and confess.”

“Well , who am I to judge? There’s Lay who’s so nice and caring, but then there’s also Sehun who is a complete idiot, but I just can’t get that guy out of my head. He actually came to the university today to apologize and convince me to date him.”

“No ing way!”

“Yeah ing way, and he asked me to date him too.”

“And what did you say?”

“I told him that I would have to talk to Lay first.” Josy looked at Angela, trying to gather her thoughts together.

“Well , I guess we’re both ed then.” Angela fell back down on her bed and gazed up at Josy. “I don’t even know what to do anymore.”

“Yeah, neither do I but it really seems as if you like Xiumin more.”

“I think I do.” Angela groaned again. “But I don’t know what to do.”

“You can’t just lead Tao on then!”

“I know that, okay?”

“I know you’ll do the right thing. Don’t worry too much about it, things will work out.”

“And what about you? Are you going to date Sehun or what?”

Josy couldn’t answer. She didn’t know what was going to happen with Lay or Sehun, and she hated not being able to say. “I wish I could just combine them into one person, then all of my problems would be solved.”

“Can we just go back to America and pretend this never happened?” Angela gave a deep sigh and rolled over to look at Josy. “Never mind, I don’t ever want forget this because this is literally unbelievable. I don’t even think this is real life anymore. This is all a dream and we’re all in some weird Inception like world.”

“Yeah, this can’t be real,” Josy agreed.

The next day Angela waited outside of her dorm for Tao to come and pick her up. She got a text message from him right as a black car pulled up to the curb. She quickly climbed into the back of the car, smiling at Tao when he looked at her.

“Hi,” Angela greeted, putting on her seatbelt.

“You look really cute,” Tao said, admiring how Angela looked in a dress.

“Thanks.” Angela didn’t know if she should tell Tao about dating Xiumin. She was afraid he would get upset, but dating and being in  a relationship were too completely different things. Being in a relationship was exclusive, and she wasn’t currently in a relationship with anyone.

It was actually pretty late, but it was the only time they could go and do something. The ride in the car was pretty short, and soon they reached the movie theatre. Tao gave her a big smile before grabbing her hand and leading her into the movie theatre.

“I already chose a movie for us,” Tao said, pointing at a poster for an action movie.

“Oh, that’s cool, but what about this one?” Angela asked. She pointed over to a poster advertising a comedy.

Tao made a face at her suggestion. “I don’t know . . . Let’s just watch the one I chose. Trust me, you’ll like it.”

“Okay . . .” Angela replied, not understanding why Tao was being so weird.

After buying the tickets, Tao led the way into the movie theatre and sat somewhere near the back. Once the movie started they both got quiet and settled into their seats. Apart from some little comments, they didn’t really talk. Angela thought that the movie was okay, but she would have preferred it if they went somewhere where they could’ve talked to each other. Tao was nice, but she knew that she had to tell him about Xiumin as well.

About halfway through the movie Tao gathered his courage and held Angela’s hand. He had never really dated before. He couldn’t help but glance over at her often just to look at her. He wanted to kiss her but he wasn’t exactly sure what he was doing. He wanted to progress things but he didn’t know how. He tried to pay attention to the movie but he couldn’t stop thinking about wanting to get closer to her.

Much like Tao, Angela couldn’t pay much attention to the movie either. Once he started holding her hand she started to feel bad. Tao was so sweet and nice, and she did like him, but she wasn’t sure if she liked him romantically. She couldn’t help but feel something for Xiumin. She didn’t know how she was going to tell Tao about Xiumin, but she knew that it would be wrong of her to not tell him. She really didn’t want to just keep leading him on, especially if she had feelings for someone else.

After the movie when the two were walking to the car, Angela stopped Tao. “I just thought I should tell you, I agreed to try to date Xiumin as well,” she admitted.

“What? But why would you do that?” Tao’s mouth dropped when he heard Angela’s confession. He was so sure that she wouldn’t date Xiumin, and finding out she agreed to it shocked him.

“I thought you knew about it. He said that you were okay with it and that you guys had talked about it already.” Angela stared back at Tao slightly confused.

“Yeah but I didn’t think you’d actually agree to it!”
