chapter 15
MagicMir looked around the area. His brows furrowed and his mouth was hung opened without him even realizing it. It wasn't office buildings like the other premises before. It was freaking housing area. Not to mention he just realized this place was near to B2ST dorm. If he knew, he would have came here first.
Mir pointed out his finger to press on the doorbell but the fence opened slowly by itself even before his finger made contact with the round button. "Okay... That's creepy." Mir whispered to himself. He got some sort of gloomy vibe from this house otherwise it looked completely normal. A family house of two storey with small yard and little garden on the corner. Nope. Not that normal. "There's flipping skull at the door!" Mir whispered harshly as he made it up to the front door. Mir gasped when red light came out from the skull's eyes. "It's looking at me." Mir whispered panickly.
"Calm down." Seungho hushed the youngest of them all. "This might be a real place after all." He said.
Swallowing hard, Mir was about to knock on the door when it, again, opened by itself, revealing a dark room that was only lit by some candles. Mir was hesitant but he still took a step inside.
"I was waiting for you." A voice echoed through the candle lit room.
Mir couldn't really pinpoint where the source of the voice was coming from. The poor scared puppy maknae froze when a cold hand caressed his cheeks before he finally let out a high pitch scream and ran out of the room like mad. He was never good in handling scary horror thingy.
Mir kept running until a hand grabbed him and stopped his running. His small frame was yanked into a firm but gentle embrace. He struggled a bit before he stopped dead at the familiar voice.
"Sorry, mirreu-ah. Didn't think you'd get that scared."
Pissed off, Mir pushed the body off of him and lightly punched the broad chest. "Son Dongwoon! That was all your doing?" He seethed, not caring the tears that were still trickling his cheeks to his chin and onto the ground. Snap! Now, when did he cry?
Dongwoon smiled guiltily and wiped off Mir's tears with his hand. "Not really. Just a gimic. I was expecting you to come sooner."
Mir sniffed. Pushing off Dongwoon's hand from his face, he proceeded to wipe his own tears away. His face was flushed and his nose was bright red. "How did you know I was coming. And are you the Zriek guy?" He mentioned the name he read about the psychic master after he calmed down a bit.
Dongwoon shook his head. "No. But, he's my friend. Come." Dongwoon took Mir's hand and guided the boy back to the house. Mir tugged back on Dongwoon's hand when they were already at the front door. "Are you still scared? Don't worry, I'm here." Dongwoon looked back, reassuring the shorter boy, but Mir was looking around with uncertainty in his wide dark brown eyes. His brows were bunching up in mixed of shock, worries and confusion. Apparently, fear wasn't the one stopping Mir, but... "What's wrong?" Dongwoon asked again.
Mir patted his pocket around his left chest. Yup. Dedinitely empty. Then, he proceeded to pat the top of his head. Nothing. No wonder it felt light. He peered around both his shoulder and his face darkened. "Err... I... I think I dropped my hyungs."
