Conclusion part -(2)
The Exchange“Thanks for that, now everyone is going to eat me alive!” Sora whined childishly at Baekhyun, who send her an amused look before shrugging good naturally, wrapping an arm around her and pulling her close to him with a tender smile; completely ignoring the stupefied expressions his brothers were sending him.
Sora, however, stayed nonchalant and leaned against his shoulder comfortingly, like she hadn't just scolded the boy for exclaiming out loud that she is his girlfriend. Mood twists I tell you.
“Lets discuss about this situation first Okay?” Baekhyun muttered softly in her hair, and Sora let out a sigh before closing her eyes, taking in his warmth spreading against her as he embraced her softly. Honestly, this Baekhyun is a whole new different from the old Baekhyun who kept on annoying the out of her. If someone told her the boy who is continuously bullying her would end up being the person who would love her, she would have slapped them all the way to the moon.
“Do any of you know why the entire school is staring at us?” Mumbled Kai all of a sudden, voice soft and faint. He bended his head softly to whisper, and unconsciously the boys bended down as well to make their conversation as discreet as they can.
“Don't they always stare at us like this though?” Whispered Sehun as well, eyes squinting in suspicion as he peeked at the students softly, trying to not raise any suspicion. He was slightly worried though, considering some of the students have high hearing ability that could easily pierce through their conversation.
“Yeah but, today they seem awfully quiet,” Mumbled Kai back, raising his hands to cover his eyes from wandering away, fearing that if there wasn't any physical barrier, he would definitely stray away.
“Perhaps they knew you are the new royals, haven't your parents announced it?” Sora murmured lazily, her face nuzzling against Baekhyun's neck, which send him a small, excited shiver that he could not hold his giggle – and the fact he visibly squirmed – Sora gave him a funny look, feigning innocence, and Baekhyun blushed scarlet and looked away, reaching his hand to push her head back to his neck, ears colored.
Suho looked at her to discuss her theory with her, but witnessed the interaction with the two, and couldn't help but scowl like a jealous bastard – which at the moment, he really was – He curled his hands into fists, and he swear he could hear Kyungsoo snarl from beside him, his assumption proved right when he looked at him, and found his spoon broken in half, while Kyungsoo had no expression on his face, though his eyes gazed deeply at the couple in front of him.
“How do you know that Sora?” Asked Kris, a genuine surprise smearing his face. Sora looked up at him from her position, and answered with a triumphant expression.
“Read their minds,” her words caused them all to simultaneously look at Luhan with surprise inked in their faces. The boy almost – almost – shrank in his seat at the look he was receiving, but held his stand, scoffed loudly and turned to look at the side, neck turning red in embarrassment when it skipped his mind to do so.
“I didn't feel like intruding today,”
“Right,” Xiumin replied at Luhan with a sneer, and the latter glared so hard at his brother that Xiumin felt like he is the one controlling the ice, and not him.
Kris then coughed loudly to catch their attention, and when even Sora looked at him, he started to speak with a rather victorious expression upon his gorgeous face and Sora had the impression he was like that because everyone stared at him. She wanted to scoff at his dorky acts, but thought of smiling only.
“So what are we gonna do about the Suga boy issue?”
“Maybe we should read his mind and finish his suffering?” Interacted Sehun, a small wince in his mouth that Sora made her think if Sehun was feeling sorry as well, just like her. She smiled a little at the thought of that, and couldn't help but admire Sehun even though she knows he has a golden heart – at times – she looked back at Luhan, wanting to hear his answer. He caught her stare, and Sora’s heart suddenly increased when she could see his brown hazelnuts eyes sparkle for a second as they gazed at hers, before he looks away with a scowl. What was that? Why couldn't she read him? Did he block her out? Probably.
“Don't be an idiot Sehun, if Luhan Hyung can read his mind, he would be already fully read,” Tao interjected from his place, actually lifting his hand to slap Sehun on the scalp just because he felt like it. Sehun grumbled and pouted, and Sora raised from her place to slap Tao equally in the head, causing him to wince and glare so hard. Sehun snickered happily at Tao, knowing that Sora just defended him when Tao sulked.
“What do you mean ZiTao?” Inquired Suho, who was having a frown on his angelic face as he peered at Tao like he is an alien from another planet. The called boy sighed, and stared at Luhan to give him permission. When Luhan lazily waved his hand, Tao beamed and stared at Suho with a smile.
‘Weird,’ Sora thought, ‘Tao never smiles when I’m around, oh wait! We are friends now!!’
“Well. That Suga guy has some kind of barrier in his head; Luhan literally cannot read his mind or all off this struggle wouldn't surface,” Tao explained boringly, hands playing with his chopsticks. Sora straightened in her place, ignoring the surprised face Baekhyun was pulling. Was Tao being serious? Sora hadn't even thought about reading the boy’s mind when she met him, but Luhan said he cannot. Is that even possible for a mind reader to not be able to do so?
She glanced at Luhan briefly, and this time he did not look back to acknowledge her stare, even when she knew he was aware of her looks. Sora then signed, feeling helpless, and softly leaned her back against Baekhyun's chest.
“I think we should let him out, it has been a long time now and he hadn't said a word, I don't think he knows anything,,” Suho mumbled, scratching on his chin with an apparent grimace on his face.
“Don't you think it's weird though?” Exclaimed Kai, eyes turning wide as he too, straightened in his place. His loud voice caught his brothers’ attention, and even the ever so bored Luhan stared at him, hands busy scratching on his now bunny demon – really; Sora wanted to laugh because it so didn't suit his character.
“Whats weird?” Muttered Chen.
“That nobody had called out to their missing son? I mean, nobody was informed about any of his family members demanding his release,” explained Kai, lips curved into a thinking position that made Sora crack a soft smile for. He looked so young with the way he narrowed his eyebrows, and curled his lips. It made her heart swell in a comforting way somehow. Sora then frowned, digesting his words carefully.
“He only has a single grandfather though,”
“Still, why did that grandfather never reported his son missing?” Chen was the one who fought this time, seeming to realize that Kai was right after all and that everything has been strangely calm.
“Are you suspecting his family's existence?” Chanyeol spoke this time, and everyone was surprised that he was listening. Ever since they entered the cafeteria; and Chanyeol had been stuffing his face into his book, reading some mathematics equations that made Kai – who was sitting next to him - grossed out. He had been making a ruckus before Sora appears about how important for him to study for the upcoming exam – due three months away – and he that this final test is a life changer.
Though really; he eventually meant to rule.
“Everything is quite possible at this point,” Kai argued, crossing his arms on his chest with an all too knowing look on his face. He wasn't even that sure, but the fact he was able to conclude into something made him proud.
“Okay That’s enough! We should find those douches and murder them for everything they have done!” Sora exclaimed, pounding her curled fists strongly on the table in rage, though no one flinched.
“We don't know where they are,” Sehun mumbled dejectedly, and Sora snapped her sharp eyes towards him.
“I said to find them! We need to find them so the killing can stop! Who would they kill next? Innocent children roaming the streets?” Sora tightened her fists, eyes looking elsewhere behind Suho’s head in complete daze. She really wanted to find those cult members, that Lillan girl who is one hundred percent sure is the leader. There is this burning fire in her that wants to be let out; and she just needs to kill everyone that has been the cause of the sudden misfortunes.
“We don't even know where to to start look
