Sora slapped her face.

Good lord Tao what was he thinking?

She peeked through her fingers around her face, wanting to catch the expression of the husband but not wanting to do that in the same time. She was just so curious if he would cause some heavy ruckus at Tao's words because she knows the man loved his family greatly, there is no way he would be calm at that.

Tao send her a funny look from beside her, silently questioning her about her sudden slap at herself. She caught him staring, and she threw him a heavy glare with neck-slicing movement with her fingers, threatening him that she will kill him when they are out of this place. She saw the boy gulp in fear, and with a roll of her eyes; she stared back at the par.

Apparently, the entire men inside the par stood up from their places simultaneously, dangerous gleams in their eyes as they all pulled some sort of pistols from their belts and aimed them at Tao who was confused as hell at those metal things they were pointing at him. Sora however; was petrified. How the hell do they have ing guns in their positions when it was illegal?? She knew those kind of weapons, those were for cups. Now, she is sure they weren't cups because there is this carless demeanor surrounding them, so they must be thugs or gangsters. Without any other choice, she shouted.

"Tao!! The time! Hurry!"

In one click of his finger, Tao froze the time loops to every man in here beside the husband who stood shocked, eyes staring at the other men with obvious confusion and fear. Sora sighed in relief, walking to Tao and easily punching him on his arms hardly, causing him to wince.

"You dork! Does anyone say that in a par filled with puff men? What if they pulled those triggers? You and I are both goners!" Sora continued to hit Tao on his arms while he winced loudly, trying to slide away from under her severe punches.

"Ow ow Sora stop it! I eventually stopped time right?" She blew an uninterested sigh and looked back at the husband, who was now shivering and roaming his arms wildly on the table in hopes of finding something he can defend himself against those scary, mutated freaks.

"Hey hey hey!! Calm down! Your family aren't really hostages! We are good people, I promise!" The man didn't seem to believe Sora, as he claimed a big bottle of Suju in his hands and broke it in half against the table beside him, pointing the sharp side towards them.

Sora rolled her eyes and with a wave of her finger, the bottle flew away from the man's grip and smashed against the wall, causing him to flinch.

"Listen. What I'm about to tell you is gonna sound really crazy; but you have to know that I have every intentions but lying to you,"

It was awkward, very awkward to be quite frank. The man - who had introduced himself as Lee KwangHee - is just sitting there silently, eyes roaming his still frozen companions.

After Tao explained to him about everything that happened even about the powers - Sora including herself in the conversation every now and then, she just had to make a note towards Tao's smart retorts - and KwangHee completely froze, body parts still but rigid, like they are minutes from collapsing.

Sora gave Tao an awkward glance, a sheepish smile gracing her lips. Tao returned the exact same gesture, fingers fidgeting nervously as they waited for the man's reaction.

Indeed, Sora had scolded Tao about his dumb words, and he claimed that it would be much better if he said that instead of 'Oh hey! We just found your house burning with your daughter and wife inside the house! Yay' So yes, Tao had thought about telling the guy about some light danger so when he gets to hear the real story, he wouldn't be so worried and actually relieved; that Tao and Sora aren't real kidnappers who mercilessly would ask for an amount of money he does not have. Yes, Tao is forever a smartass, I mean; who would even think about all of that in a span of three minutes while barging through the par like crazy hyenas? So yes, The one at fault is Sora for scolding the boy so she had apologized softly, even though she still favors her idea in just throwing the news to the man, at least they weren't lying yeah? But Tao had seen the look on her face, and completely scolded her about the differences of white lies and black that-should-never-be-done lies.

That was a lecture she wouldn't want to repeat.

"So you are telling me that, there is a big community of supernatural beings with supernatural abilities that are hidden from the human society that holds my daughter and wife? And that you are, my wife's daughter that she can't remember because your dad erased her memories over the impression of the elders who consisted of twelve ruling family?"

"Wow, the way you says it makes it ridiculous," Sora chuckled awkwardly because damn; the look on that KwangHee's face screamed thats-not-funny.

"Because it is ridiculous. Do you even hear yourself young girl?" The man accused, his lips forming a scowl.

Now Tao doesn't usually gets angry easily, but this man is starting to make his blood boil by his assumption. The most thing that he hates is people ridiculing his words and telling him he is a lier if he was or wasn't one; even though he should give this man a break since he is human. But Tao can't since bad habits die hard.

"You know, you should believe us. I mean look around you, what do you think of this? A game?" Tao sneered at him, who flinched when he remembered this cat-like boy is still with them and now is having murderous expression upon his face that is directed solely to him.

"It could be a trick; I've seen a lot of magic tricks in TV before,"

"Does this look like TV to you? Freaking unbelievable," Tao muttered annoyingly to himself, knowing that there are limits in speaking to elderly and even though he is annoyed; he couldn't let loose of his tongue. Respect is another quality he posses, and thank you god for making it good one this time.

Sora cleared , catching the man's attention before she digs her hands inside her pockets to retrieve a photograph she has inside. It was a small square one, and confidently she gave it to the man.

KwangHee's eyes widened. He couldn't quite believe it. There in the picture, is the younger version of his wife, cradling a baby in her arms with a puff man's arms around her shoulders. They were all smiles and giggles, and even though the picture seemed old, KwangHee could recognize his wife's dark blonde hair everywhere.

Though it was dyed now, what a shame.

He stared back at Sora, eyes widened still when he realize this girl wasn't lying. Suddenly, he didn't feel angry that there are things his wife were oblivious to, but a pang of sadness attacked him when he realized what this girl has been going through alone.

"Oh my child! I'm so sorry!" He engulfed her in a surprising hug - really, Sora's eyes couldn't be any rounder - and he patted her hurriedly on the back, mumbling some incoherent words of comfort under his breath.

"Y-yea sure.. S-shall we go now..?" Sora gave an awkward chuckle, throwing menacing glares towards Tao who was spotted eagerly covering his mouth, stopping his laughter. It looked like he wanted her to know he is about to laugh because of her funny behaviors.

"Yes Of course, let's leave now!"

Sora's eyes turned blurry the moment they reached the hospital. While KwangHee was staring in absolute fascination around him - and the fact he couldn't believe he just teleported - before realizing he was in a hospital, and immediately he rushed to the closest doctor asking him about his wife's whereabouts.

"Are you alright?" She heard Tao's muffled, very far away voice coming from her right. With a wobbly nod, she started creasing her head.

"Yes, just a little dizzy from all that teleporting," she mumbled faintly, and Tao patted her on the head before joining the huddled group of boys in one of the benches.
