Kibum sat next to Jonghyun, Woohyun across from Kibum and Amber across from Jonghyun. With this set up, there was no one way Woohyun was getting his hands on Kibum, especially with the death glare Jonghyun was sending the older man every few seconds. Woohyun stared at him with amusement. “Okay.” Kibums voice cuts into the silence and everybody turns to look at him. “We should start translating.” Kibum announces, pulling out the piece of paper that had the fable printed out on it. “Amber, do you want to read over it?”

“Sure.” She reaches across the table, taking the paper from Kibum. Her eyes scan back and forth across the printed words, Kibum watches her, his eyes intense as he tried to read her expression. “So?”

“One sec.” She holds up a hand, silencing him. He shrinks back in his seat, casting his gaze down. Jonghyun watched him fondly amused, Kibum was chewing lightly on his bottom lip. Jonghyun cracked a smile leaning forward slightly until their eyes met. Kibum raises an eyebrow in question and Jonghyun merely shrugs, placing a hand to Kibums thigh and squeezing. “Okay!” Amber announces, clapping her hands together and handing Kibum the paper. “I can do this!” She beams at them and Kibums eyes brighten. “Really?”

“Yeah, you guys can count on me.” She winks, taking off her cap and flipping her hair. Kibum smiles appreciatively and Jonghyun continues to rub a hand up and down his thigh. Woohyun watched them, a glint in his brown eyes. “So, lets eat first and then start.” She declares already rising from her seat. Kibum blinks. “What type of food does a bookstore offer?”

“They’re connected to a cheesecake factory.” she says, already heading towards the door. Kibum jumps from his seat. “I’ll come with you.” He announces and Jonghyun could see it in his eyes and so could Woohyun. “Bummie, you want a cheesecake?”

“Oh, Bum are you trying to get another free cheesecake?” Woohyun and Jonghyun said at around the same time. They glanced at each other before looking towards Kibum who was pushing out of his chair and following after Amber. “Kibum!” Jonghyun calls, rising from his seat and jogging after him. “What?” Kibum glances back at him. Jonghyun slid a hand around his waist, waving a ten dollar bill in front of the youngers framed eyes. “Oh? So you’re buying for me?” Kibum asks, leaning back into Jonghyuns body. “Yeah.” Jonghyuns hand drops down to Kibums where his fingers dangle before gently curling into the mound of his jeans. Kibum jolts slightly and Jonghyun grins, peering back at Woohyun. He was staring hard at them, his eyes locked onto Jonghyuns hand as it continued to fondle Kibums behind. “Jonghyun, your hand.” Kibum murmurs gently, staring after Amber who had just walked out of the door. “Sorry, Bummie, I have to let others know that your is mine.” He squeezes again, eliciting an annoyed moan from Kibum. “Move your hand before I move it for you.” He threatens, Jonghyun steps back with a chuckle. “Here, go and buy something that’s as sweet as you.” He hands Kibum the money, watching as he walked away, before turning on his heel and smiling at Woohyun. “I guess it’s just us.” He says, Woohyun returns his just as fake smile. Jonghyun sits down diagonally from him, folding his hands on the tabletop. “Kibum looks cute today.” Woohyun comments. “You’re wrong, he looks cute everyday.” Jonghyun corrects and Woohyun grins. “That’s true, but I don’t get to see him everyday.”

“That’s good.” Woohyun laughs. “What did he get you for your birthday?” Jonghyun leans back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest. “He got me what I’ve always been wanting and what I’ll never stop wanting.”

“And what’s that?” Jonghyun smiles to himself. “He got me Kibum.” Woohyun blinks and then laughs. “Aren’t you quite the romanticist?” Jonghyun nods. “I consider myself to be one.” 

“Then I guess because you’re a romanticist you can tell when someone else is starting to like your boyfriend.” Jonghyun looks up at him. “Like last time, I’ll keep telling you, you can want Kibum, but you’ll never have him.”

“Yeah, I remember.” His pupils were dark and set on Jonghyun as he spoke.  “Then I’ll keep wanting him, I’ll keep wanting to capture those lips and to inhale his scent until it’s all I smell when I breathe.” There was a glimmer in his eyes and Jonghyun stared at him in shock. “I may seem like an to you, because I like your boyfriend, but I’m not like this around Bum.” Jonghyun stares hard at him, a glare settling onto his features. “I’m comfortable around Kibum, he relaxes me and he’s so….” Woohyun trails off laughing to himself. “He’s adorable, you’ve probably seen him when he gets shy.” Jonghyun felt his heart drop. He didn’t like this, the way in which Woohyun was talking about Kibum. “One time I caught him mid-breakdown. When he blushes...it makes me want to more.” Jonghyun didn’t like this at all. “It makes me want to until he’s all red in the ears,” Woohyun looks straight into his eyes, a gleam in his gaze as he continued. “Until he’s flustered and laughing loudly next to my ear.” Jonghyun knew all these things and he loved all these things about Kibum. His obnoxious laugh and red hue of his cheeks when he gets embarrassed. But he didn’t like someone else talking about them, no, he hated the idea. The way the words fell so gently from Woohyuns lips reflected the care he had for Kibum. “I’ve only known him for about 4 weeks and…Kibum makes it so easy to like him.”

Jonghyun wanted to finish that sentence, the words he said when he came to know more about Kibum. “You make it easy to like you and even easier to love you.”
Damn it! He looks away from Woohyuns gaze, fixing his eyes on a red book titled “Love” What can a book teach me about such undefinable feelings? He thought clenching his fist. 

Kibum returned with two cheesecakes and a bottle of milk, Amber had her hands full of little snacks and soda. “Here.” Kibum hands Jonghyun the strawberry cake, plopping down into his seat and letting out a breath. “For me?”

“Yeah…” Jonghyun smiles, his heart warming. “Thanks Kibum.”

“Mmm.” He runs a hand through his black hair, fingers curling into his locks before resting on the table. “We should start working.” He murmurs, popping the top off of his cake and stabbing his fork into its cakey flesh. “Okay, give me the paper.” Amber mumbles, stuffed with food. Kibum nods, sliding out the paper and handing it to her. She takes it and Woohyun stares back and forth between them. “You guys didn’t think about getting me anything?” He finally asks, disbelief shining in his eyes. Kibum laughs quietly and Woohyun glares jokingly. “Bum, you didn’t think about me?”

“Jonghyun bought this for me.”

“So?”

“So it’s his treat and my food now.” Kibum shrugs apologetically. “Sorry, Hyun.” He smiles, the fork dangling from his pink lips. Jonghyun grins, placing his hand against Kibums cool arm. His fingers brushed across his skin and he stared at him, his eyes a gentle yearning. Kibum knew what that look meant and the way Jonghyun was touching him, he knew what the older male wanted. Glancing quickly at Amber and Woohyun, Kibum leans over to whisper in his ear. “Later.”

“Okay…” Jonghyun places a light kiss on the side of his cheek, the side Amber and Woohyun couldn’t see. Jonghyun wanted to spend some alone time with Kibum. If he could be alone with Kibum for the rest of his life, he would. Pulling away from each other they stare at each other and smile softly, sharing a secret. Woohyun watched them, the beginning sensation of jealousy tickling his heart.
