Foreword

Prologue~

An Zhen Ai stood in the very empty stadium that the Bangtan Boys would be performing in a few short hours after, with her professional grade camera in one hand and her phone in the other. This was a big night, but any night that she and her friends went out to get their blog information was a big night. She wore a pair of tights that were black from the middle of her thighs down. At the top of the black was a cat face, for each thigh. Over the tights she wore a pair of tattered shorts, and a white v neck with a black cardigan. A black scarf was wrapped around her neck, and her brown hair hung in waves just past her shoulders. Over she wore a tight black face mask, a must to disguise her appearance. She and her close friend, Mallory, had started an online review blog and, in order to keep the blog away from their personal life, the girls often covered their faces. “Mal?” She called, scrolling through her phone. “Mal, did you happen to print out the backstage passes?”

Mallory LeBlanc, Zhen Ai’s co worker and friend, turned from where she stood, closer to the stage, and flashed her three backstages passes, all secured in plastic sleeves with long strands to go around their necks. “Right here.” She called through her black mask, which fit her face over her nose and tight to her skin. “Do you want yours?” She asked, walking towards Zhen Ai. Her heels clicked on the concrete floor. Mallory wore a pair of jean high waisted shorts that reached just above her belly button, a white crop top that showed just a little above the shorts. The sleeves were long and pushed up away from her hands. She wore a turquoise scarf, and her blonde and brown Ombre hair was done up in a loose, messy bun. “Are we still okayed to be in here, or should we be backstage?”

Zhen shrugged and reached out, taking the badge from Mallory, who was now shoving hers inside the beige small satchel on her side. “Guys,” Came the voice of the third member in the party, Do Song Yi. “This is amazing.” She smiled brightly and spun in a circle, her arms outstretched. Song Yi was welcomed to the blog page as the voice. Mallory and Zhen had jobs aside from the blog that could be affected by the reviews, but Song Yi’s job couldn’t be bothered. She was who offered the interview questions Mallory and Zhen had concocted, and she was the face of their blog.

“Take your badge.” Mallory announced, handing the badge to the bubbly Song Yi. Song Yi happily took the badge and pulled it over her head. “This is going to get ridiculous. I guess these Bagtown Boys are a big deal.”

Zhen smiled, though it wasn’t visible through the mask. “Bangtan Boys, Mallory. I know you know that.”

Mallory rolled her golden hazel eyes and shook a hand as if it were a trivial fact. “Expect many fans. Pushing, shoving. I know they’ve spotted seats for us somewhere back there,” She pointed behind Zhen. There, in the front row of the seats, was the perfect spot to watch the concert. The entire row was blocked off and reserved, as well as two rows behind. Even from where they stood, they could read the sign. Reserved for Underground Communique. “But that doesn’t mean we are restricted to staying right there. I will be. I hate-”

“People. We know.” Zhen supplied, sliding her phone back into her pocket and grinning at her friend. “So, do we go meet the band now, or later?”

Song Yi was practically giddy with the idea. “No.” Mallory said blandly, and Song Yi frowned a little. “We meet them after, before they can truly sit and process the questions. They have too much on their minds right now, but later, they will be too adrenaline high to answer with something more stately. We’ll get the real them directly after they perform.” Mallory calculated her moves like her life depended on it, like if she didn’t the world would somehow end. “Now,” She said, her eyes searching the space. “Where to place our points.”

Points. Points were where the best locations in the stadium were, as claimed by Mallory, with the accompany of Zhen’s photographic excellence. Points were where Mallory expected pictures to be taken that night. Zhen, Mallory and Song Yi were not there to play and listen to music. This was work, and the three knew that.

With a sigh, and another roll of her eyes, Mallory turned and clicked towards the stage. It was a good six or seven feet, to keep the fans from being able to get on stage before a bodyguard could stop them. Mallory ignored the fact that they weren’t actually supposed to be on the stage, and walked around to the side. “Zhen Ai, come join me please.” Mallory was never, in her life, cold to Zhen Ai. She could, however, act cold towards Song Yi. Zhen figured it was because Song Yi’s loud outgoing attitude annoyed Mallory. It was a likely cause.

Zhen made her way to the stage and moved to join Mallory, shocked by just how large it was. “There.” She said, pointing directly behind where they sat. “Point two. With the lighting, and zoom, I will be able to capture their faces with ease. Main point is where we sit, correct?” Mallory nodded. Zhen smiled and turned back to call out more points. “There. Middle of the pit, will be three. When they near the front of the stage, it will give a perfect shot up, catching all of their outfits and face, as well as their hair, to support the stylists.”

Zhen always seemed to look out for others. “How about side views?” Mallory asked.

“Too many members. Side views would look unprofessional, beginning level. I can, however, talk the bodyguards into helping me into the back. Final picture, when they link arms and bow, perfect shot. The light will shine down at the perfect angle, fan hands will be visible, and their sweaty faces won’t be caught because they’re turned.”

Mallory let out a breath. It wasn’t a sigh, it was more of a I’ve-been-holding-my-breath-and-only-just-realized-it breath. “That’s perfect. Thank god for Zhen. Would it help if I snapped a shot of their front for the bow sequence?” Zhen shrugged and told her to do what she will, but it might look a little too bright due to the lighting. “Wonderful. Base point, four follow ups. I’ll be sure to pay more attention to their feet than their faces. At the angle we’re seated, I can see any and all mistakes.” She laughed a little. “They underestimated where they sat us.”

“This doesn’t have to be a negative review, Mallie.” Zhen said quietly, so only Mallory could hear her.

Mallory turned to her, her hazel eyes fixing on Zhen’s face. “That’s their choice, Zhen.”

I love your story so much! I've been reading this story ever since this morning. It's hard finding a lot of good BTS's stories. This story is just amazing. I just love it. I usually don't like to read stories with a tons of chapters but I actually read all of this. I was wondering, did you ever make a sequel or anything to this towards the end? I couldn't find anything. Anyways I would love to read your other stories! Loves, xoxo (:

Chapter 2: Hi I just want you to know that I'm going to talk to you tomorow and Je vais vous parler demain is not really the same thing in this concept she's talking to her brother so using vous is way too formal. It wil be better if you say Je vais te parler demain or on se parle demain. And you can't really use adieu either cause it's like a final goodbye like you are never gonna talk to them. Since she's french from France I think saying au revoir is more appropriate. So yeah... I just want to friendly inform you :) oh and google translation is rarelly right when it's for english to french !! :)
