Suga and Rap Monster stayed a little longer, much to Rap Monster’s discomfort. The four mostly stayed in the living room, eating and talking about their day, but after a short while, Suga and Rap Monster announced that they needed to leave to get back to practice, since they’d only taken a short break.

Mallory walked them to the door and, thankfully, Rap Monster continued on ahead as she and Suga stepped out into the hall. “So the interview is this Thursday?” She asked.

Suga nodded, knotting his fingers with hers. “And you’ll be there?” He asked. Mallory forced a smile and nodded. He looked pleased by this, and pressed a kiss to her lips before promising “I’ll call you after practice.” With that, he turned and moved towards the exit of the building.

Mallory turned and rushed back into the apartment, almost knocking Ha-Neul over in the process. “What’s the rush?” He hissed, following after her. 

She dropped down onto the couch and grabbed her computer. “It seems one of my coworkers did something kind of important without my input.” Ha-Neul gave a small shrug and an eyebrow raise, cueing that he had no clue what she was talking about. “I need to hire a few body doubles.”

Zhen sat awkwardly on the couch, staring at the television which wasn’t even on. Jungkook had left an hour before for practice, and Zhen had promised to get his shirt and jacket back to him. he didn’t fight her on it and left shortly after.

He’s going to find out. She thought to herself. He’s going to hate me, especially after that terrible review.

Her phone rang, rather loudly, on the table in front of her. She snatched it up, hoping it was Mallory with some kind of solution. However, when she looked at the caller ID, she found that it was an unsaved, unknown number. Hesitantly, she answered. “Hello?” She asked.

“Zhennie?” A small voice asked on the other line.

Mallory had contacted Song Yi, who had answered happily, and had asked that they meet up for dinner somewhere nearby. Zhen promised to join them as well. They’d picked out a small dinner sort of place, and Mallory showed up a good twenty minutes before.

She sat in silence, staring down at her phone in hopes of getting any sort of call back, when Zhen slid into the seat across from her. “Hey,” She said lightly. “Have you figured something out?”

Mallory bit her lip. “I hope to hell my idea works.” She muttered, continuing to stare down at her phone, which sat face up in front of her.

Song Yi plopped down beside Zhen and smiled. “Hey! I’m sorry I didn’t get to come see you in the hospital-”

“It’s okay,” Mallory interrupted. Song Yi had been out of country and had only returned shortly after the incident, so Mallory told her not to worry about stopping by. “But we needed to ask you something.”

Song Yi smiled brightly. “Go right ahead.”

The waitress stopped beside them and smiled. “Can I get you anything to drink?”

Mallory answered quickly, annoyed with the interruption, Zhen answered blandly, and Song Yi answered happily. The waitress left, and Mallory, who was still a little bothered, continued. “Did you happen to schedule for us to do an interview without my knowledge?”

Song Yi bit her lip, looking a little taxed by the idea, but then smiled and nodded. “Yeah, sorry I meant to tell you that BTS was looking for another interview, so I told them you were free this Thursday for their sh
