Mallory stood in the front yard of her new house directing the movers into the house according to what boxes they were carrying. She stood with one hand on her hip and the other out, directing the workers. It was starting to get dark, and Mallory just wanted to make sure all the boxes were moved in before the workers had to leave. 

“Babe,” Suga’s voice called, and Mallory turned to see him, and the rest of the boys, moving towards her. They were just moving through the gate and up the steps towards her. Suga reached her first, and pressed a quick kiss to her cheek. “Have you started unpacking?” 

She shook her head, watching as the workers moved in the last box. “No, but I’m about to.” She turned, starting towards the house. “I know I’m only just moving in, but you need to take off your shoes and put on slippers again.” She was referring to the particular way she had them take their shoes off. Already, she’d brought seven pairs of prepackaged, white slippers, though one wouldn’t be used since Jungkook wasn’t with them. “Anyways, we can all start in the same room or different rooms, it’s up to you guys.” 

The seven moved into the house, which was filled wall to wall with boxes and structures that weren’t entirely put together. Suga’s hand wrapped around one side of Mallory’s waist, and he pressed his lips to her ear. “I don’t think we’ll finish tonight.” She shook her head, turning to face him. “Do you want us to come back tomorrow too?” 

She shook her head again. “You don’t have to. I think I can handle it.” She said, looking to the boys behind him. “What do you boys want to do?” 

J-Hope turned to V. “Kitchen?” V nodded, and the two separated themselves from the group. 

Jin looked to Rap Monster. “Want to put the books on the library shelves? We don’t need you building anything, and since that’s just a putting away job-” 

Rap Monster frowned. “You have such little faith in me.” 

“Don’t touch the ceramics!” Mallory called after them, and Rap Monster groaned. 

One of the movers moved into the space and tapped Suga on the shoulder. “Could you give us a hand for a minute?” He asked. 

Suga looked to Mallory, and nodded. “Sure,” He said, slowly turning away and following the worker. 

This left Mallory and Jimin standing awkwardly in the foyer. Mallory bit her lip. “Do you want to help me move my rose pots out back?” 

“I don’t think we should be alone together.” He answered, taking a step back. 

Mallory sighed. “That was months ago. Suga’s over it, I’m over it, we’ll be fine. Come on,” She said, starting towards the back door. Jimin followed slowly behind her. “So, how have practices been?” She asked, opening the door and stepping outside. 

Jimin closed the door behind him. “Uhm, it’s been fine.” He answered. 

Silence. 

Mallory moved towards one of the massive pots and tugged it from the porch towards the fencing that surrounded the yard. Jimin moved to help her. “How about the new tour? Are you excited?” He nodded as they placed the pot down and moved back towards the porch to get the next pot. “Are you going to talk to me?” 

Jimin bit his lip. “I thought I was.” 

“Minimally! Jimin, I haven’t talked to you in months. Even when you came to visit me in the hospital, you only asked how I was feeling and then stared at the ground. What’s going on with you?” 

He shrugged.
