Ha Jae had brought Zhen back to the Shin’s house, but not before she made him promise that he would introduce her to Jung Hee when she next got the chance to see him. Ha Jae agreed and, after dropping her off, he went back to his shared apartment to wait for Jung Hee to get home. Zhen made him swear he’d call her and tell her what happened.

So when she got into the house, and no one greeted her, she went to her room to call Jungkook, since she’d promised him she’d call back. Cho Hee and Dae Hyun were still at work, so Zhen was alone that night for dinner. She had thought about going to Mallory’s, with Song Yi since she’d just gotten home, and maybe have some time to themselves, but she wanted to make sure she talked to her boyfriend first, before she went over and couldn’t call him.

He answered on the first ring. “Fourteen thousand four hundred.”

“What?”

“I told you I’d count the seconds.” He laughed. “I’m not even going to lie, I googled it, but hey, it’s the thought that counts.”

Zhen shook her head, smiling to herself, and kicked off her shoes. “I told you I’d call back. I can’t really have google do that for me, but you know.” She said, standing by the door and waiting for Kirakira to make her mind as to whether or not she was going to be in the room before closing the door, the small dog leaping into the room at the last second.

Jungkook coughed before speaking. “So what was that little conversation with Mallory’s parents about?” He asked, coughing again.

“Are you alright?”

“Yeah, just a little bit of an itch.” He answered.

Zhen’s eyebrows pulled together. “Mhm. You might want to take some kind of medicine tonight, before you go to sleep.” He groaned. “Well, first off, Mallory’s mom, Jane, told me that my boyfriend was adorable, and he has the cutest smile.”

“Get to the good stuff.”

“That is the good stuff!”

“I hear enough of that from you, what else did she say?”

“Well, that’s all Jane said,” Zhen declared, sitting down on the chair and tugging her shoes off, since they stuck on after her first few tries. “But Pierre was adamant about getting to the bottom of who Suga was. He said that he was concerned she was wasting her time on some boy she found on the street, since he’d never heard of a Min Yoongi before that day, which isn’t surprising since Mallory never talks to her parents.” She sighed. “So I told them that Suga was pretty much the one person she talked to aside from me and Song Yi, and that she pretty much adored him. But Pierre is still unsure.”

Jungkook hummed. “And how was your day with Ha Jae?”

“Long,” She answered, standing and walking towards her bed. “But I had a lot of fun. I really did miss him, and his brother. I wish you weren’t so jealous of them, because then maybe we could all hang out,” She said, smirking as she climbed onto her perfectly straight comforter.

Jungkook groaned. “I’m not jealous.”

“Lies. Anyways, you should probably go take a shower, because I’m more than sure that you still stink from your workout.” She said, smiling and looking towards her yorkie.

Jungkook laughed. “I already showered. But I’ll let you go, because I have important nothingness to attend to.”

“I’m going to call Mallory and see if she wants to get dinner or something. But can I see you tomorrow?”
