Episode 15 – 1 Plus 1

General Hwang is pumping his water gun quickly. He needs to reload before Commander Kim’s able to corner him and attack. What he doesn’t know is the man already soldier crawled his way towards the Hwang’s fort but the lookout from the tower saw him.

“General Hwang!!! Behind you!” Private Irene yelled from the top of the playground tower.

Like in a movie, General Hwang turns and jumps towards the tower taking cover while shooting at the Kim Army.

“Private, throw the bombs!” Papa Hwang instructed.

“Yes, sir!” Irene takes one of the water balloons piled in a pail and aims at the Kims before throwing it in the air.

“Incoming!!!” Captain Jiwoong yelled. Commander Kim and his captain rolled themselves to each side. Away from the incoming water bomb. But one soldier from the Kim Army did not heed the warning as she was reloading from behind enemy lines.

SPPLLAAASSHhh

“Arrrrkkkkkk!!!” The soldier holds her chest as she was hit. Faking death.

“Major!” Corporal Hayeon pulled Major Sooyoung to the side away from the onslaught of water bullets.

 “Hayeon my favourite dongsaeng… uhukhuk” Major Sooyoung coughs holding Hayeon’s hand. “Tell Sunny my wife…”

“Yah! I’m not your wife!” A voice from the picnic table yelled. Earning laughters.

But that did not deter the dying Major, “I love her till the end of time.” And she dramatically died.

“Aaawwwwww….” Voices from the crowd were heard and Sunny can only shows her angry face but it was evident she’s red from blushing.

“I’ll revenge your death, Major!” Hayeon get’s up and run towards the fort letting out her battle scream.

“Corporal, nooo!!!” Captain Jiwoong screamed trying to stop Hayeon. But it was too late.

Private Hayeon was halfway towards the fort when she was hit by a huge amount of water.

“Hahaha you cannot defeat Hwang’s ultimate weapon!” Lieutenant Yuri refills the water bazooka with the help of Private Irene.

“Can I try, auntie Yul?” Irene said hopeful.

How can Yuri say no to the big brown orbs. “Sure, baby.” Yuri handed her the bazooka.

And just like that the adorable baby Irene with her green soldier hat turns into a ruthless warmonger. She shoots Yuri then slides down the tower. “er!”

Yuri gasped. “Traitor!!!!”

“W-what the?” General Hwang was slow to process what was going on and before he could react Irene had shoot her grandpa.

“Sorry, Papa Hwang!”

Irene turns around and she came face to face with Tiffany’s water gun. “How could you? Surrender now or…”

“Or what?” Commander Kim had already by Irene side and pointed his water gun at her. Captain Jiwoong was to the side and she got no choice but to drop her water gun and surrender.

“Sorry, mummie but Papa Kim pays me better.”

The Kim Army cheered. But the Hwang’s were not at all amused. They were betrayed by the soldier they trusted the most and General Hwang blames the shameless Kim. “Damn you Kim!!!”

They were all at the long picnic table eating their late lunch. Irene was soaking wet from sweat and Taeyeon wiped the little girl with a towel.

“I can’t believe you betray us for an extra chicken.” Yuri said dejectedly.

“It’s not just any chicken. It’s auntie Sooyoung’s special peppered chicken!” Irene opens huge and bites her crispy drumstick. “Nom…nom…nomm. This is the best chicken!”

“I thought you said my fried chicken’s the best?” Tiffany turns to Taeyeon and pretended to cry. “Taeyeonie my daughter don’t love me anymore.”

“There…there…” Taeyeon comfort the crying Tiffany. “I love your chicken.” She then whispered, “And everything bout you.” Her hand rubs Tiffany thighs. She should’ve known better.

“Ehem!!! There are people here. Please keep it to yourself.” Hyoyeon reminded the wife.

Taeyeon sulked. Tiffany could not resist the cute pout and peck her wife’s lips while and whispered. “We’ll have fun at the jungle gym later.” She winked and just like that Taeyeon’s face changes to elation in an instant.

“Ewww not the jungle gym!” Haeyeon said appalled at the idea.

“Can I join too?” Irene said excitedly. The little girl was obviously a little lost in adult conversation.

“NO!!!” Tiffany said horrified.

“Sheesh! No need to yell, old lady.” Irene rubs her ear. The rest of them laughs at the little girl antic. For her age, Irene’s pretty much acted all grown up.

“This songpyeon (a/n: rice cake) is really good Papa Hwang!” Irene takes another bite of the colourful rice cakes. “Mmm…nuts filling’s my favourite.”

Mr.Hwang rubs Irene head and said, “I’ll make lots more for you.”

“I like it too, dad. Especially the sesame filling. You should teach me how to do it.” Taeyeon said.

“Of course, my dear. My songpyeon is the best!” Mr. Hwang said proud.

“I think my songpyeon’s better.” Mr.Kim said taking a bite of a pink songpyeon.

“Really?” Mr.Hwang challenged.

“Oh dear…”
