Hwajae asked me "if I knew where Squishy was, what would I do". I told her that I would definitely reconcile with him. Then she started asking me some weird questions. I tried to trick her into telling me the reason behind all her strange questions, but she caught it before I could find out anything from her, and locked herself in her room when I stopped answering her.

She's acting really weird nowadays. What if it's because she's having some problems with Kai, and she is indirectly seeking advice from me?

I wasted no time in contacting Kai, but that bugger won't answer my text messages or my calls. I gave up after an hour of non-stop calling and sending a whole load of spam messages. I waited for his reply for the rest of the week, but there was none.

Preparing a special dessert to probably cheer Hwajae up, I sent Kori in with a note first before entering. She looked baffled when I came in with her favourite ice-cream with a special-flavoured syrup, and questioned my actions. I didn't tell her that I might have suspected that her relationship with Kai was falling apart, so I settled for telling her the generic "I'm your best friend" and "you can always tell me when things go wrong", which made her even more confused. What am I doing wrong?

I finally received a call from Kai. He said that his phone was confiscated (again) but he contacted me as soon as he got his phone because of all the spam messages and missed calls from me. I immediately asked if he was facing any problems with his relationship with Hwajae, but he calmly told me that there was nothing wrong and that they were planning to go on a date a few days later.

Maybe I was just looking into the matter too much (something I do all the time), and maybe there was no problem at all. Still, it's best to be sure. I don't want Jongjae breaking up anytime soon, I don't want Jongjae breaking up forever, in fact.

Also, Ji ae mentioned that she might be converting her bakery into an animal cafe, after seeing how adorable Kori is. Who knows, we might just adopt every stray animal and raise them in the cafe. It’s not a bad idea, we can save their lives instead of them getting put down. And it might boost the popularity because animal cafes are still considered rare in this area. Hey, I might even join their business as their accounting manager!

I dyed my hair a dark purple with bright red highlights today. Although it looked nice, but it’s a real hassle when I shower, because some of the dye washed out and the water on the bathroom floor became purple. The colour stayed on my hair though.

It was painful when they applied the dye to my scalp, it felt like my whole head was on fire. The smell was also unbearable, I almost hurled when the stylist was applying the dye on the hair close to my face. I guess that’s the price of beauty? Nonetheless, I’m satisfied with the result.

Ji ae, Hwajae and Hyori were so amused by my new hair colour they couldn't stop staring, and Ji ae even started my hair in a weird manner (no, I do not wish to elaborate).

I kept receiving stares from strangers when I was taking public transport. Is it that weird? I mean, idols dye their hair all sorts of crazy colours all the time and they don't get judged. I’m not planning to change my hair colour anytime soon, so they’ll just have to deal with it.

Ji ae told me that they are seriously going to convert their pastry shop into a cat cafe (that sells pastries and cakes as well). I’m so excited! I should probably go hunting for stray cats now, so they won’t have to put in any effort to look for animals to put in their cafe.

Kris is still hunting for a job apparently, but he seemed to have run out of luck, because he either failed the interviews, or the companies didn't even send him a reply regarding his application. Honestly speaking, I hate those companies which don't bother contacting the interviewees to inform them on whether they have passed or failed the interview, it’s extremely rude and unprofessional.

Well, I guess Kris is stuck with us in the pastry shop then, until he gets a job somewhere else.

Maybe I’ll work in the cafe after graduating, considering that I took a business course and that I love cats. This is like my dream job!

Speaking of jobs, I heard Hwajae saying that she’s planning on joining Kai’s entertainment company as a backup dancer. That’s a great plan actually, they can see each other whenever they’re practising, and they won’t have to complain about missing each other from then on.

My hair has garnered a lot of attention in my university apparently, because business students don't usually dye their hair in weird colours. The most common hair colour is copper brown, but other than that, no one else dared to dye it a different colour.

I don't like how a different hair colour causes people to stereotype someone as one who is unprofessional and not serious in doing something. I have no problem with the school directors, but many of my schoolmates have been labelled me as a rebellious student.

I am not a rebellious student, in fact I work harder and get higher grades than most of them. They really need to stop judging people by their appearance. I’ll show them what I can do.

Okay, enough about them.

Hwajae went through an interview with Kai’s entertainment company, and she failed, unfortunately. However, they told her that she had the necessary skills (just not honed enough) and is considering to interview her again once she has completed her course in university. Even though she didn't pass this time, at least it’s one step closer to getting the job she wants, right?
