Sooyoung cried a little bit more while Kai was softly her hair. 

"I think we should go now..." D.O walked up to the both of them.

Sooyoung moved away from Kai and wiped her tears away. 

"I'm sorry I couldn't control myself." She said looking down while trying to stop the tears that were still coming up.

"Noona... you're making me sad too!" Tao said and wiped a tear away.

"I'm sorry." She smiled slightly and ruffled his hair.

"Let me take you home." D.O said.

"It's okay, I can take her home since we live close to each other." Kai said to D.O and everyone looked at them.

"Sure..." Suho nodded and smiled at them.

"But don't be late! I'm sure Mei is waiting for you. " Suho said as he looked at Kai and Sooyoung.

"Don't worry, hyung." Kai sighed. 

"I'll just take a taxi. " Sooyoung said as she felt how everyone got tense.

"No, I mean, I'll drive past your house anyways." Kai said.

Sooyoung looked at him a little worried. She didn't want anyone to misinterpret their friendship. They were just friends and that was it.

"Let him take you home. " Baekhyun put his hand on Sooyoung's shoulder and smiled at her.

Sooyoung smiled back and nodded. 

"Good night!" She waved at them as she walked towards the exit with Kai.

The boys waved back at her and smiled while they headed somewhere to grab something to eat.

"Get in." Kai said as he opened the door for her.

"Thanks." Sooyoung sat down and Kai closed the door on her.

Kai hurried to his side and got in. He looked at her for a minute as if he wanted to tell her something but then he decided to just drive. The drive back felt as if it took ages cause neither Kai nor Sooyoung were saying anything.

"I heard you're studying together with Mei." Kai said breaking the silence.

"Oh... Yeah." Sooyoung nodded.

"I was quite surprised to be honest..." Kai said.

"Why?" Sooyoung asked him.

"I didn't know that you were writing... But come to think of it, I think I didn't knew you at all." Kai said as he smiled slightly.

 Sooyoung didn't know what to say so she just let an awkward laughter escape her lips. It became quiet again. After a while it was Sooyoung who broke the silence.

"How is it going with Mei?" 

"Good." He just answered.

There was one thing Sooyoung was dying to know.

"Kai..." Sooyoung said.

"It's still Jongin for you." He said without looking at her.

"Why did you decide to marry Mei?" She asked him.

He wasn't answering her and kept looking straight forward while biting his lower lip. Sooyoung looked at him for a while but then gave up on the answer. Just then Kai stopped the car next to the empty sidewalk and looked at her.

"I didn't. " He said. 

Sooyoung just nodded and looked away.

"My mom wanted me to marry." He said and continued looking at her.

"And I thought that it'd be the best... At least for me." He explained and Sooyoung looked at him. 

"I thought that she'll help me..." He looked down.

"Help... You?" Sooyoung asked confused.

"To get over you." He looked up.

Sooyoung immediately looked away. She regretted asking him this question. He suddenly grabbed her hand and Sooyoung looked at him with wide eyes. Kai led her hand to his heart and put it on it.

"It doesn't beat like that when I'm with her." He said still holding onto her hand.

It was indeed beating a lot faster than it should normally do.

"K-Kai..." Sooyoung whispered.

"Jongin... Sooyoung please continue calling me Jongin." He looked at her.

Sooyoung quickly took her hand away and looked away from him.

"Can you please continue driving?" She asked him as she felt her face heating up.

Kai quietly started the engine and continued to drive. After a while they arrived in front of Sooyoung's house. She quickly said 'thank you' and got off. With shaking hands she grabbed into her bag and took her keys out. After unlocking the door she walked in and looked back before closing the door. Kai was still there probably watching her. She closed the door and let a sigh go. 

"Sooyoung?" She heard Myungki calling her name.

"It's me, oppa. Where's mom?" She asked as she took her shoes off and walked to the kitchen to drink a glass of water.

"She's already sleeping. Her train is early in the morning." Myungki said and walked into the kitchen.

"Are you going to see her off?" He asked watching her.

Sooyoung nodded.

"Uhmmm... Sooyoung?" Myungki said as he looked down and awkwardly rubbed his neck.

"Yes?" Sooyoung raised one of her eyebrows.

"Jiyoung called me today..." Myungki said.

Sooyoung almost dropped her glass.

"She said she wants to visit me and see you too...." 

"I don't want to see her." Sooyoung said as she turned around to wash her glass.

"But Sooyoung... You two were such good friends back then..." Myungki walked towards her.

"It's the past. We moved on." Sooyoung put her glass away and turned around to look at him.

"You moved on but she didn't..." He explained.

"No, oppa, believe me we both did. I don't want to talk about her anymore. I had a rough day. Good night." She said and walked past him out of the kitchen.

She quietly walked upstairs not to wake her mother up. When she reached her room, tears suddenly started to fall again. Sooyoung wiped them away and started to undress herself to put her pajamas on. Just when she put her shorts on she heard a knock on her door.

"Yes?" She asked.

"It's me. " She heard Myungki.

"Come in." She said as sat down on her bed and took her phone out from her bag.

"What are you doing?" Myungki asked her.

Sooyoung waved a little with her phone without her eyes leaving it. She was reading a message she got from Myungsoo.

"Myungsoo?" Myungki asked and Sooyoung nodded.

"Hey, are you mad at me?" Myungki asked as he sat down next to her.

"No." Sooyoung said although she was a little mad at him.

She had told him so many times not to mention Jiyoung in front of her but he still did.

"She's coming to Seoul." He said and Sooyoung looked up from her phone.

"What?!" She asked him.

"Don't worry, she won't come over here. We'll stay in a hotel together." He said.

 "How long will you be gone?" She asked him.

"Why? Wanna call your boyfriend over and have some y time?" He asked and laughed as he ruffled her hair.

"Shut up, I'm serious." Sooyoung pushed his hand away.

"Three days, I guess."

"Okay... Don't even think to come to this house in those three days and don't call me!" Sooyoung glared at him. 

"Sooyoung, please be honest with me. Why do you started disliking Jiyoung so much?" Myungki looked at her.

"It's nothing, oppa. I just don't want to think of the past anymore."

Myungki looked at her for a while and then hugged her.

"I'm sorry." He said and started her hair.

"I know it's been hard on you. You lost someone you loved.... but I lost my brother." Myungki said and Sooyoung felt her eyes getting teary.

"We'll be able to go through this together. I'm here for you and you'll be here for me. We have each other and that's the best thing right now." Myungki said and Sooyoung couldn't hold it back anymore.

She hugged him back and sobbed quietly into his chest. Myungki kissed the top of her head the whole time until Sooyoung calmed down. 

"Sorry, your shirt is now all wet because of me." Sooyoung said an wiped her tears away.

"I can't believe you! This won't dry now..." Myungki said jokingly to lighten the mood.

Sooyoung laughed.

"Thank you, oppa." She smiled at him.

"Wanna sleep together?" He opened his arms for her and smiled.

"Okay, that's too much. Go away now." She kicked him off of the bed and he fell down. 

"Waaa you're unbelievable! I'm opening my arms for you so you can come in and cuddle me and you just push me away?" He asked her sitting on the ground.

"Yes, I think that is what I did." Sooyoung laughed.

"Okay Sooyoung. If this is how you wanna play the game. Your mom is gone for a week and you'll be with me for four days. All alone." He got up from the ground and glared at her.

"Was that the part where I'm supposed to act like I was afraid?" She asked him and bursted into laughter again.

"We'll see each other tomorrow. Sleep now." He glared at her as he walked out of the room.

Sooyoung laughed and laid down on the bed.

To: Myungsoo♡

Good night~ I'm lying on my bed right now~ mom's leaving early tomorrow and Myungki oppa is leaving too. Come over then ; D I'll call you tomorrow~♡ i love you /kisses

Sooyoung smiled and put her phone away. Then she closed her eyes and immediately fell asleep.

"Honey?" Her mother was lightly shaking her shoulders.

"Mom?" Sooyoung whispered confused.

"Baby, I'm leaving now. I'll call you when I'm in Mokpo." Her mother whispered.

Sooyoung immediately sat up and looked at the watch on her phone. It was 5 in the morning.

"You're taking a train this early?!" Sooyoung asked her mother surprised, now fully awake.

"It'll take some time to Mokpo and I want to spend more time with your granny." Her mother smiled at her.

"Wait, let me get dressed up." Sooyoung wanted to get up but her mother pushed her back on the bed.

"You sleep, Myungki is already downstairs waiting for me." She smiled at her.

"But mom-"

"Sooyoung, listen to me."

"Okay..." Sooyoung knew she wasn't going to win this fight with her mother.

"Take good care of yourself and Myungki when I'm gone. Don't skip any meals, oh and the most important thing: I don't want to become a granny when I come back home!" Her mother smirked as she raised her eyebrows at Sooyoung.

"Oh mooooooooom! Okay, leave now! You're disgusting." Sooyoung covered her face with her pillow.

"I was young, too and you were born when I was your age." Her mother laughed.

"Okay, enough." Sooyoung got up and walked towards her door.

Her mother followed her and they walked downstairs. Sooyoung hugged her mother and waved her goodbye as Myungki drove her mother to the train station. She walked into the kitchen and took a glass water upstairs to her room. While laying down she looked at her phone. There was one message from Myungsoo and one from Kai.

Kai?, Sooyoung thought surprised.

She first opened Myungsoo's message.

From: Myungsoo♡

Okay, baby. Good night and sweet dreams~ I'll see you tomorrow and it'll just be the two of us ;D I already miss you♡

Sooyoung smiled while reading his message. Then she opened Kai's message.

From: Kai

Hey, Sooyoung. I hope what happened between us today won't make our friendship any more awkward... Well then, good night.

She sighed. It did make them even more awkward but Sooyoung couldn't help but feel bad about him. Everything would be so much easier when Kai would just let go of her.

To: Kai

It's okay. Let's just pretend nothing happened.

She quickly answered and put his phone away, closed her eyes and fell asleep again.

"WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" Myungki walked into her room while yelling.

"OPPA! WHAT THE ?!" Sooyoung yelled back as she tried to cover her face with her pillow.

Myungki grabbed her blanket and pillow and threw them away.

"You have a visitor." He whispered into her ear and Sooyoung's eyes immediately opened.

"She's awake." Myungki said as he walked out and Myungsoo walked in.

"Don't look!" Sooyoung quickly covered her face.

"Baby, you're still pretty." Myungsoo said and took her hands in his as he looked at her.

"YOU MUST BE BLIND!" Myungki yelled while walking downstairs and Myungsoo laughed.

"Oh god, I'm gonna kill that guy!" Sooyoung growled.

"Come on get up." Myungsoo said to her.

"What time is it?" She asked him rubbing her eyes.

"It's 2PM." He said.

"What?!" She looked at him surprised.

"Yep~ Come on, take a shower and have some lunch." Myungsoo got up.

"Okay." Sooyoung nodded and got up as well.

Myungsoo walked downstairs and Sooyoung walked to the bathroom. She took a quick shower and got changed. When she walked downstairs she saw Myungki and Myungsoo talking.

"Where's my food?" Sooyoung skipped into the kitchen.

"Make yourself your food." Myungki grinned.

"Hey! I make your food too!" Sooyoung pouted.

"I'm just kidding it's in the fridge. You just need to heat it up." Myungki said and walked out.

"I'm going now, Sooyoung. I'll see you in three days." Myungki said.

"Okay. Remember, don't even call me." Sooyoung said as she took her lunch out of the fridge.

"Yep~ Take good care of her, Myungsoo. Bye~" Myungki rushed out of the house.

"Three days?" Myungsoo asked her.

"Jiyoung is coming..." Sooyoung said without looking at him.

"You're alone for three days?" Myunngsoo asked and Sooyoung looked at him.

"Why?" She smirked.

"Oh, it's nothing." Myungsoo smirked back.

"Are you hungry?" She asked him.

"Nope..." Myungsoo said watching her.

"Stop watching. You're making me nervous." Sooyoung laughed.

"Am I?" He got up and walked to her.

Sooyoung turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck. Myungsoo hugged her waist and pulled her closer. They looked at each other and were about to kiss each other when Myungki interrupted them.

"Ughhhh! Disgusting." He looked at them.

"What are you still doing here?!" Myungsoo and Sooyoung let go of each other.

"I forgot my phone..." Myungki said.

"Well then, continue your thing. I'm gone!" He said and ran out.

"Idiot..." Sooyoung whispered and took her lunch from the microwave.

"You guys are like real siblings." Myungsoo laughed.

"I'm glad we aren't... Or I would have killed him already." Sooyoung rolled her eyes.

She took a bite and immediately spitted all out.

"Oh god, I forgot that he can't cook!" Sooyoung said with a disgusted face.

Myungsoo laughed.

"Let's have lunch outside." He said.

Sooyoung nodded and threw the food into the trash. Then she rushed upstairs and grabbed her bag and her cellphone and rushed downstairs again.

"Let's go." She smiled at him and he nodded.

"Are you guys going to practice today?" Sooyoung asked Myungsoo when they were sitting in the car.

"Not today..." Myungsoo said and looked at her.

"Sooyoung..." He continued looking at her.

"Yep?" She looked back at him.

He grabbed her hand.

"Can I stay over at your house for the three days?" He asked and Sooyoung blushed.

"I'll be worried to death otherwise." He sighed.

"Of course you can!" She smiled at him.

Then he parked his car in front of a restaurant and they got out. They sat down close to the exit and a waiter came and took their order. After a few minutes the food came and Sooyoung's stomach started to make some weird noises.

"Just in time." Myungsoo laughed.

"I was starving..." Sooyoung laughed as well as she put a lot of things into at once.

"Ya! You'll choke!" Myungsoo looked at her worried.

Sooyoung slowed down and looked around. Some women from the next table were looking at her with a disgusted expression.
Myungsoo laughed at her and pinched her cheek.

"Aigoo, so cute." He said with a pout.

Sooyoung smiled at him and they continued eating. When they were about done, the door of the restaurant opened and Kai and Mei walked in. Sooyoung immediately saw them and Mei's eyes immediately landed on Sooyoung.

"Oh hi!" Mei waved at Sooyoung.

"Hi Mei!" Sooyoung smiled.

"Hey." Myungsoo smiled at her.

Kai looked at her and they smiled at each other.

"Did you guys have lunch?" Mei asked Sooyoung and Myungsoo.

"Yes." Sooyoung laughed.

"We were about done though..." Sooyoung looked at the empty plates in front of her.

"Oh... Ah right Sooyoung, I have a question about our essay." Mei said.

"Sit down..." Sooyoung said as she pulled a chair out for Mei to sit down.

Kai sat down across Mei. The girls started talking about their essays while the boys were just listening to them. The waiter came and took the empty plates away and took the orders from Kai and Mei while Myungsoo ordered some coffee for himself and Sooyoung.

"Sooyoung..." Mei said and she looked at her.

"What happened between you and Jongin yesterday?" Mei asked her and everyone looked at her.
