[Just imagine that the conversation between Jae and Kibum was done in French]
“Hey, what are you listening to?”
Jaejoong glanced to the direction which that cheerful and excited voice came from. Kibum, his cousin who is the same age as him, entered his room and quickly lay himself on his bed. Before Jaejoong could answered, Kibum has grabbed the CD’s case which Jaejoong was holding.
“This man is so handsome,” He commented when he saw the CD cover which has Jung Yunho’s photo on it. “Ohh, Jae, It even has a signature? Is this really this singer’s sign? You have met him?”
Jaejoong laughed and grabbed the case back. “Yes. I went to his fanmeeting.”
He saw Kibum only hissed and shrugged his shoulder. Sometimes he wanted to be that cousin of him. Kibum is a cheerful boy, calm and talented in languages. Look at him, even though he spent most of his life in America with his father and only once in a while visited his mother in Paris when he has a holiday like now, Kibum’s French did not have a flaw at all. He even doesn’t have a hard time following the slang French. Not like Jaejoong whose French still sounds a bit formal.
“What is your plan today?” asked Jaejoong. “Why do you come here so early?”
“I am bored at home,” his cousin answered lightly. He sat on the end of Jaejoong’s bed and tidying his messy hair. “By the way, Why did you suddenly appear in Paris. You surprised me. Having a broken heart?”
“What?”
“do you have a crush on someone?” Kibum changed his question.
Jaejoong smiles wider. “I do,” he answered while pointing at Jung Yunho’s CD front cover. “This is him.”
Kibum snorted. “Well, I also have an affair with Brad Pitt,” he said quickly. “I am serious, Jaejoong.”
Jaejoong knew that Kibum won’t believe him. He stared at Jung Yunho’s face which was on the CD cover. It has been one week he had been at Paris, and for that one week he could not see photos and articles about Jung Yunho in tabloids and in television. But there is Junsu who often sends messages to tell him about the latest news. Yunho sent him messages too sometimes to ask about his condition.
“Kibum, can I borrow your phone for a minute?”
“Pourquoi? Why?” Kibum asked while took out his cellphone from his clutch.
“I don’t have any credits left. I want to send a message to my friend in Korea. I want to tell him that I will go back to Korea the day after tomorrow,” Jaejoong explained.
Kibum shook his head sighing. “Oh please don’t talk to me in such a formal language. I am shivering here. It’s not like I am your boyfriend.”
Jaejoong only laughed. Kibum helped him send a message to Junsu in English because Kibum’s phone was not facilitated with Hangeul and because Jaejoong himself was not that good with English. To write Korean without Hangeul feel too weird.
“Here, I have sent it,” Kibum said, then he got up from Jaejoong’s bed. “Now, Let’s go out!”
“What? Where did you want to go?”
Kibum looked at himself in the mirror that was hanged on the wall, turned left, turned right, then bring his face closer to he mirror, as if want to observe whether there is a point of dust on his nose. “We go to Avenue Montaigne. Okay?” Kibum suggested while bringing his face back from the mirror. “I want to take a walk. You are not the only one who is heart-broken. I am upset too. Today let’s just have fun. Come on! Don’t be lazy. Go change your clothes!”

“So you will come back today?” Junsu asked with his phone on his ear. He said thank you to the cashier who gave him his stuffs and gave his attention back to Jaejoong who was talking at the other end.
“Mm,” Jaejoong answered. His voice is a bit unclear because of international call. “I am on my way home now. I will go to the airport two hours later. My flight depart on midnight, so according to the schedule I will arrive tomorrow morning.”
Junsu pushed the glass door and went out. “Okay. I will fetch you at the airport.”
“You don’t need to. I can take the taxi. You should help your mother right?”
“There are usually no customers coming in those times,” Junsu argued. “Jung Yunho is in The States, so he can not fetch you.”
“I know. He will go back today too, but maybe arrived in Seoul at night tomorrow.”
Junsu grinned. “Seems like you still keep in touch with him. Did your mom okay with that?”
Junsu heard his friend chuckled lightly at the other end, then Jaejoong said,”No, actually my mother are not really angry. My mom was just a bit sad because it’s remind her of my sister. My mother was also upset both of his children became a hot topic in Korea. But now the gossip has started to fade, right?”
Junsu nodded, even though he knew Jaejoong could not see his nod. “Yes, Jung Yunho has settled it. Don’t know how. At least he is indeed really busy now.”
“Oh, I se- AHH!”
Junsu stopped walking. He frowned. “Hello? Hello? Jaejoong?”
There was no answer. The line has been cut off. Junsu looked at his phone, then called Jaejoong again. He couldn’t reach him. Junsu tried once again. He still could not reach him.
At first Junsu did not really worry about the cut off call, but when he could not find Jaejoong when he fetch him at the next day, he started to worry. He tried to call Jaejoong’s phone again, but still could not reach him.
Junsu was confused. He did not know Jaejoong’s house telephone number in Paris. Who he should call? Suddenly he remembered the messages he got from Jaejoong which was sent from his cousin’s cellphone. Junsu searched his phone. He hoped the message that was sent from Jaejoong’s cousin was still there.
Ah, turned out he had not delete it. Thank God.
Junsu quickly called that number and waited impatiently.
“Hello?” an answer was heard from the other end. A man’s voice. Jaejoong’s cousin or not? Seems like he is.
Junsu tried to arrange words in English quickly. “Hello,” he said hesitantly. “Is this Jaejoong’s cousin?”
“Yes,” the man answered. His voice sound strange. “This is Kibum. Who’s speaking?”
Fortunately Jaejoong’s cousin could speak in English fluently. “My name is Kim Junsu. Jaejoong’s friend from Korea,” said Junsu introduced himself. “I need to ask you something. Jaejoong told me that he would arrive in Korea today, but I couldn’t find him at the airport. He couldn’t make it?”
