Hansol rushed from class as soon as the bell rang.  He had to find out what Jimin was doing there.  He passed right by Xero and Hojoon without saying a word as he made his way to the dean’s office.  He barged in without even asking the secretary if he was there.

“Mr. Ahn, did you approve the transfer of a new student!?” Hansol demanded.

“Actually yes I did, three of them in fact… why, what seems to be the problem?”

“THEY ARE THE ONES WHO ATTACKED US AT THE BTS FACILITY WHEN WE FREED JIWON!”

“Wait… Sehyuk told me that you were unable to free Jiwon…”

Hansol just stood there and blinked.

“Um… well, we didn’t exactly… uh,”

“He lied?  You all did?  You’re withholding information from me!?” Mr. Ahn snapped.

“Really?  You’re accusing us of lying!? We know Jiwon isn’t your brother!”

Mr. Ahn’s jaw dropped, but he quickly regained his composure.  Without another word, he simply turned and dialed someone on his phone.

“Yes Zico? This is Jaehyo.  Jiwon is somewhere on the Arario campus, send in the rest of the unit to find him,” he said, hanging up the phone quickly.

“Who is Zico? What unit? What’s going on here!?” Hansol demanded.  Jaehyo pulled a gun from the drawer of his desk and aimed it at Hansol’s head. 

“Well since I’m going to kill you anyway, I may as well tell you what’s going on… for millennia the only supernatural species’ on earth were the dragons, wizards and lions… now that’s begun to change.  I am part of team Blockbuster, a group of supernatural researchers and scientists who have noticed an evolutionary leap.  A fourth species has arisen, and it’s more powerful than all the others.  Using advanced technology, we’re going to transfer the powers of this new species to mankind, to secure our place as the planet’s dominant life forms,”

Hansol couldn’t believe his ears.

“You’re no different than BTS!”

“Actually we’re quite different.  We don’t waste our time with the other three species and they are actually our biggest competitor when it comes to research and development.  They just want to defend mankind… we want to evolve it.  Now that you revealed the location of their underground facility and retrieved Jiwon, we can take the next step,”

“You used us… why do you want Jiwon anyway!?”

“He is a part of this new race, he will be the first test subject,”

“That’s where you’re wrong, he’s a dragon,”

Hojoon was extremely confused as to why Hansol completely ignored him and Xero… but he got his answer when he saw the boy who attacked them exit Hansol’s classroom.  He was quickly joined by the other two boys.  When he saw Hojoon he smirked and waved.

“Hi! Hojoon right? I’m Jimin, this is Taehyung and Jungkook.  Look, I think we got off to a bad start, can we talk?”

“Uh…”

“We’ll explain everything, let’s just go somewhere away from everyone.  Trust me, we won’t hurt you,”

“Who is this guy?” Xero whispered.

“Long story, tell you later,” Hojoon replied as the five of them walked off.  They took a seat at the back corner of the outside lunch area.

“Alright listen; you guys freed Jiwon from our underground facility and we were sent here to find him and bring him back but now, we think we might need your help,” Jimin explained.

“You need our help with what?” Hojoon raised a skeptical eyebrow.

“The dean of this school is Ahn Jaehyo, one of the founding members of Team Blockbuster, our biggest competitor.  They have sick intentions while ours are more… admirable,” Taehyung said.

“Admirable!? Kidnapping and experimenting on people is admirable?” Xero snapped.

“Look, we’re just trying to protect the human race from monsters, we’re trying to give them a fighting chance.  We’re making an army of people like us for that purpose and that purpose only.  Blockbuster on the other hand… they have psychotic dreams of a new world order.  We know that they just used you to free Jiwon,” Taehyung continued.

“What the hell does Jiwon have to do with a new world order?  He’s just a dragon, like Sehyuk and Sangdo,” Hojoon wondered.

“No Hojoon, he’s more than just a dragon… he’s a proxy, a shape shifter of sorts.  He can embody the traits of anyone or anything… he just doesn’t know it yet,” Jungkook said, scanning the area to make sure no one was listening.

Hojoon was dumbfounded; he couldn’t even think of anything to say.  Luckily Xero spoke up instead.

“Why should we help you?”

“Because, the enemy of our enemy is our friend.  Besides, if you don’t… humanity is doomed,” Jimin replied.  Before anyone could say anything else, the sound of a gunshot echoed from somewhere close by.

“What was that!?”  Xero jumped up and looked around.

“It sounded like it came from the dean’s office,” Hojoon said.

“Something could be seriously wrong, we need to go check it out, now,” Taehyung said sternly.  Hojoon hoped everything was okay, but he had a sick feeling… something was definitely not right…
