Blockbusted (Part Two)
Order of the Wolf: ReformationXero looked down at his phone, trying to line up the colored blocks. No matter how hard he tried, he simply couldn’t concentrate. The fact that the doctors weren’t allowing him to see Hansol was driving him crazy. He sighed heavily before returning his phone to his pocket.
“You okay Xero?” Yano asked, his eyes half closed as Sehyuk scratched behind his ear.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” Xero replied, anxiously tapping his foot.
“I can’t take this waiting anymore! Shouldn’t we be out doing something? Like finding Jiwon or… something!?” Jenissi whined.
“Clearly Blockbuster was expecting us to come for Jiwon… we have to think of a different approach,” Sehyuk said.
“Our best bet is to find their headquarters and storm the place. They won’t be able to deal with the combined force,” Jimin suggested.
“Actually, that’s not a bad idea,” Kidoh said.
“It’s a terrible idea. They have technology specifically developed to deal with us. If we storm the place, we could end up dead,” Sehyuk said.
“How can you guys sit here and talk about strategies when we haven’t even seen Hansol yet!? You guys are unbelievable!” Xero snapped. Hojoon quickly pulled him aside and walked him to a vending machine.
“What’s wrong with you?”
“What’s wrong with all of you!? Am I the only one that’s worried about Hansol?”
“Dude… you know we’re all worried, that’s why we’re here. The doctor said he’ll be okay and we have nothing else to do besides wait… what’s this really about Xero?”
“What are you talking about?”
“Come on man. I’ve known you since middle school. Something’s up,”
“You’re wrong, I’m fine,” Xero replied. Hojoon didn’t say a word; he looked incredibly distracted by something behind Xero. Xero turned around to see Jiwon running into the waiting room.
“We have a major problem,” he said, almost out of breath.
“We?” Jenissi asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Yes, we’re gonna have to work together, like it or not. Blockbuster has one hell of a plan and we need to put a stop to it,”
“We know, we’re working on something now,” Sehyuk assured him.
“Well you need to work faster. They’re making some kind of virus out of my blood. According to a file I found, they have three giant machines called ‘foggers’. They’re gonna launch them into the upper atmosphere and pump the gas into the air. It’s gonna transform every human and kill every supernatural creature on the entire planet,”
“No way… we knew that they were crazy, but this is insanity,” Taehyung said, his face turning pale.
“Looks like we’ll have to take the risk and go with Jimin’s plan. We hit them with everything we’ve got and make sure they don’t have a chance to launch those foggers,” Sehyuk said.
“We can’t do it without Hansol,” Xero reminded them.
“I know, which is why we’re gonna get him out of here,”
“Is that really a smart move? I mean, he got shot in the head. I don’t think he’s up for a major battle,” Sangdo interjected.
“His magic should have healed his wound already, but if not, we can perform a healing spell,” Hojoon replied.
“You guys get Hansol. Nakta, Sanggyun, and I are gonna head to my Uncle’s armory and get our new gear. We’ll meet you back at the hideout,” Kidoh said. Sehyuk nodded as the three of them left.
“Alright guys, let’s put an end to this,”
