Blockbusted (Part Four)
Order of the Wolf: ReformationHojoon shielded his eyes as the enormous machine exploded in front of him.
“Good work you guys,” he said. As soon as the words left his lips, thunder started to boom and the wind picked up.
“What’s going on!?” Jungkook yelled over the wind.
“Something’s wrong!” Hojoon replied. He took off running toward the site of the first fogger. By the time they got there, the wind stopped, but a heavy rain replaced it. He saw Hansol and Sehyuk, crouched over Xero. Yano, in his lion form, hung his head and anxiously pawed his ear.
“What happened?” Hojoon demanded. Sehyuk gave him a grim look… giving him all the information he needed without saying a word.
“Isn’t there something you can do? You can use your magic right?” Jimin asked.
“We can’t change the rules of life and death… unless…”
“Unless what?” Hansol eagerly asked, trying to wipe away his tears.
“Unless we want to lose our powers forever… Hansol, step aside,” Hojoon said. Hansol did as he was told as Hojoon placed his hands on Xero’s chest. He could feel his fingertips tingle as his power flowed from his body and into Xero. His bright white hair faded to black as the bullets rose from Xero’s chest and the wounds healed.
Hojoon felt incredibly weak and extremely vulnerable… more than he’d ever been in his entire life. He didn’t say anything, but he knew that his power was gone. The very thing that made him who he was, was completely gone…

Hansol’s heart skipped a beat as Xero started to cough and sit up. He hugged him as tightly as he could.
“I’m alive?” Xero asked.
“Yeah, thanks to Hojoon,” Sehyuk replied. Xero’s expression went dark as he looked at his fellow wizard.
“You… gave up your powers for me?”
“Of course I did. I didn’t have a choice,” Hojoon said.
“I can’t thank you enough,”
“You don’t have to,”
Xero smiled at Hojoon before Hansol released him from his death grip.
“Hansol… about what I said…” Xero’s sentence was cut off by Hansol, who passionately kissed him. His eyes widened for a moment but he closed them and kissed back. Yano covered his eyes with his paw and Hojoon gasped.
“So that’s why you were so worked up at the hospital… I have to admit I didn’t see that coming,” Sehyuk said with a smile.
The sweet moment was interrupted by a squeal of tires as a small car zipped past them. Byungjoo and the rest of his team ran over to them.
“That’s Zico, the leader of Blockbuster! He’s trying to get away!” Sanggyun explained.
“He’s not going anywhere,” Kidoh said calmly, aiming his bow. He fired a single arrow, piercing the back tire of the car, causing it to spin out and slam into the large fence that surrounded the headquarters. Zico stumbled out of the car, aiming a gun at the group as they closed in on him.
“Don’t come any closer,”
“Dude, you are sooo beyond outmatched. Just give it up,” Sangdo said. Zico looked around, taking note of the destroyed foggers, incapacitated guards and his defeated partners. He dropped the gun and reluctantly put his hands in the air.
“Someone call the police and the news station. We’ve got one hell of a story for them,” Sehyuk said. Byungjoo skipped over to Hansol and hugged him.
“We did it hyung! Can you believe it? Xero, why are you sitting on the ground? And what the heck happened to Hojoon’s hair?” he asked, raising a confused eyebrow.
“It’s a long story bro. I’ll fill you in later,” Hansol said, patting his back. Finally, Blockbuster was gone. Maybe, just maybe their lives could return to normal.
