Chapter 14

"Taeyeon? Don't just stand there." Her mother said as she motioned her to greet him.

Taeyeon lifted her hand and shook his hands.

"It is very nice to meet you. I am Taeyeon." Taeyeon said as she forced herself to be as polite as possible.

"Nice to meet you too. I hope you and your family will have great time here." Minho said with a smile.

Taeyeon tore her hand away from the handshake and just gave a forced smile.

"Please come in. Make yourself comfortable." Minho said as he stepped back and held the door to let her family in.

Minho led them to their dining room and the table was filled with delicious food.

Taeyeon took a sit and looked at her surroundings while her parents went to the living room to see Minho's parents.

She then heard someone taking a sit beside her.

She turned to see Minho and her eyes met Minho's.

She immediately looked away and took out her phone.

She pretended to be busy with something so that she would avoid any sort of communication with him.

But unfortunately, luck had to go against her.

She could feel him staring at her, she felt really awkward.

"I never expected to see you here." Minho said.

"I never wanted to see you." Taeyeon said.

Minho sighed.

"I really never wanted that to happen." Minho said.

"But it happened. You can't just turn back time and change what you did. Nothing can be done to change us." Taeyeon said as her eyes are still on her phone.

"It can be done. Just give me a chance." Minho said and sounded a little desperate.

"You wish." Taeyeon replied coldly.

"You don't know how-" He stopped talking as he heard the rest of their family walking in to the dining room.

"So this is your daughter?" A woman said, Taeyeon guessed that it was Minho's mother.

Taeyeon gave a polite smile.

"She is very beautiful." She said.

"Thank you. You look beautiful too." Taeyeon said.

"I am Mrs Lee. Minho's mother." Mrs Lee said.

"I am Taeyeon." Taeyeon said and smiled.

Mrs Lee gave a smile back and sat down.

"Let's not wait any longer since everyone is hungry." Mr Lee said.

Everyone started digging in and Taeye
