A/n: Sorry for the late update. I've been so busy with school and drowned with assignments so didn't have time to update. So, here's te new chapter everyone, enjoy it yaaa! And please, remember to comment!! :)

The thought about tomorrow kept him awake. He was feeling extremely nervous for his plan. He groaned and sat up. He ruffled his hair as he thought about the various possible reactions from her. ‘Argh! What if she says no? What if she doesn’t feel the same way like I do? Worse, what if I mess up? This is so frustrating!!’ he said to himself as he pulled his hair. He went through his plans again to make sure that it will go well. He soon fell asleep and he was only left with 4 hours of sleep before executing his plan.

The alarm clock went on and woke the girl immediately. She reached out for the clock to check the time. ‘ Oh! Its 4.30 am. I better check on him.’ She got out of bed and went to the room next door. She pushed it open and just as she had expected, the figure was still sleeping. She walked to the bed and start waking him up.

“Oppa! Oppa! Wake up now! You’re gonna be late if you continue sleeping!!!!” she shouted as she shook her brother.

“5 more minutes” he groaned and pull his blanket up.

“NO! Oppa, you better get up now or I’m going to pour water on you!” she threatened.

Knowing well that she mean what she say, he groaned and got up. “Aish. I’m sleepy. I couldn’t sleep last night” he muttered.

“That’s too bad oppa. You shouldn’t have thought too much about today. Now, go get ready. It’s gonna be 5am soon!” She said as she pull him out of bed and push him into the shower. As he closed the door, she went to his closet and picked out 3 different outfits for him and laid it on the bed and all he has to do is choose. She left the room and went to the kitchen to help him prepare breakfast.

The alarm woke her up and she quickly got out of bed and over to the other room to do her part. She sneaked in and as expected, the princess was still asleep. ‘Aish, how am I supposed to wake her up without getting myself killed? Why did that midget have to plan something at dawn? It’s so troublesome. Should I shout? Should I nudge? Pour water? Threaten? Tickle?’ She made up her mind and walked to the bed. “Jessi, wake up. You have a date today. Come on!” she said as she gently nudged her. Seeing that the ice princess didn’t budge at all, she settled for the second method. “Wake up Jessi! You’re late for your date with Kim Taeyeon!!!” she shouted as she tickled her cousin despite knowing that she’s risking her life.

The brunette hissed and groaned at the intrusion but got up at the mention of his name. “Wow, I mention his name and you immediately got up. He sure has a huge impact on you.” Tiffany smirked.

“What time is it?”

“5 minutes to 5am. So, get your sleepy up and get ready. I wanna go back to sleep.” She said and pulled the girl out of bed and into the shower.

He stepped out of the shower and saw 3 sets of clothes laid out for him. ‘I’m so lucky to have a sister like her. Yoong better be treating her right man..’ he thought and looked though the outfits. He finally decided on an outfit and started styling his hair and got ready for his big day. He grabbed his car key on the table and went down. The smell of scrambled eggs and bacon infiltrated his nose. He went into the kitchen and saw his dear sister making breakfast.

“What are you doing?”

“Preparing breakfast for you and Jessica unnie.”

“Eh? I never asked you to do that..”

“I know but I just think that it’ll be nice to have a homemade breakfast, no?”

“True. So, what are you making?”

 “Scrambled eggs with bacon and some sandwich. Is that okay?”

“Yeah. That’s fine.”

“Thank you Seohyun, for helping me. I wouldn’t be able to do it without you” he said genuinely and smiled at her as she packed the food.

“It’s nothing oppa. You would’ve done the same for me too.” She smiled and shrugged her shoulders as she continued packing.

“Here you go oppa. All done.” She handed him the basket.

“Thanks. I should probably go now. Bye dongsaeng!” he exclaimed and pecked her cheeks as he rushed out the door. She ran after him to the front door, “Goodluck oppa! All the best!!!” she shouted at him. The car engine roared and he made his way out of the driveway and off to his destination.

“You ready cousin? He should be here any minute now” she said as she leaned against the doorframe and eyed her.

“How do I look?” she turned around facing Tiffany, waiting for her reply.

“Sweet and simple. Enough to drive him insane.” She smiled.

“C’mon! Seriously Fany!”

“I’m serious. Look, he doesn’t care what you wear. In his eyes, you’re beautiful as it is and he wouldn’t want to change it. I’m serious okay. You look great.” She assured her cousin that was starting to panic. The sound of car engine startled the duo. Tiffany went to the window to take a peep and smiled at the sight.

“Your prince charming is here.”

“I’m scared Tiff. I’ve never been on dates this early!”

“Trust me Jessica. You’ll love it. This is Kim Taeyeon. He doesn’t fool around and like I told you before, it’s all about you now.” She tried to reassure her.

“Well, here goes nothing.” She said as the duo walk down the stairs together.

“Enjoy every second of it Jessica Jung. Kim Taeyeon, is a rare species. You can’t really find anyone like him. If he’s taking you out on a date this early, it means that there’s something special. Trust me.” she said to her before opening the door for her.

“Oh, I was just about to knock. Anyway, good morning” he said to her as she stood before him. ‘Gorgeous as ever. Heh’ he thought.

“Good morning. You better have a good reason to ask me out this early Kim Taeyeon” she said with her hands crossed.

“Is it really troublesome? If it is, we can postpone it and you can go back to sleep..” he said as he lowered his head.

‘! Did I hurt his feelings? I feel so bad right now! What should I do? Think Jessica! Think!!!’ she exclaimed in her head.

“Hey, I was just joking. Don’t take it too seriously.” She said as she place her hand on his chin and tilted his face to look at her.

“Come on! Let’s start our date!”

“Are you sure? You don’t want to reconsider?”

“I’m sure! Come on!” she dragged him to his car.

The journey was filled with silence and it was unusual for them to have this unbearable silence when they’re together. ‘It’s so quiet. Is he still upset about what I said? Aish, Jessica Jung! You should’ve thought before saying anything!’ She mentally scolded herself. The silence was too unbearable for her. She turned to look at him only to see him in a deep thought. ‘I wonder what’s going through his mind right now. But he looks cute when he’s thinking. Hehe.’ The car came to a stop and broke her chains of thoughts. She looks to her left only to see him gone. She looked around and realised that they’re at the beach. ‘Why did he bring me here at this godly hour?’ She saw him waving at her and motioned for her to follow him.

She got out and caught up with him. “Why are we here at this hour?” she asked while looking around. He ignored her and walked to the water breaker. Taeyeon took off his cardigan and laid it on the floor and motioned for her to take a seat on it.

“Thank you”. He just smiled and took a seat next to her. As she was about to strike a conversation, a beautiful scenery left her speechless. A golden glow spread across the sky as the sun chased the dark clouds away. The sunrise was breath taking.

He took a glance at her and couldn’t help but smile at her. ‘She’s beautiful. I hope she liked what I had prepared for her.’ He immediately looked away when he saw her turning her head to him.

“Thank you for bringing me to watch the sunrise. I’ve always dreamt of watching it with someone..”

“I’m glad you love it. Was it worth waking up that early?”

“Definitely!” she exclaimed and laid her head on his shoulder. ‘It was definitely worth it because I’m watching it with you Taeyeon. I wonder what else you have up your sleeves.’ The absence of the warmth shocked her when he suddenly pulled his arms away.

“Sorry, but could you please wait here for a while? I need to go get something. I’ll be back soon.” With that he quickly got up and left her alone. ‘Should we eat at the bench or water breaker?’ he thought as her ran back to his car to get the food.

“Why did he have to ruin the moment? It was perfect and he just had to leave. Aish.” She looked back to see if he was back but he was nowhere in sight. ‘I wonder what he’s doing..’. She felt a tap and turned to see her date standing behind her with his hands behind. “What’s behind you?” she eyed his back.

“Breakfast! I can’t possibly ask you out and leave you hungry, right?”

“That’s really thoughtful of you.” He smiled at her remark and laid out the food for her.

“Did you make all this?”

“Sadly no. I planned to but my little sister beat me to it.”

“Seohyun made all of this?”

“Yeah. While I was getting ready, she went to the kitchen and prepared it.”

“Guess I’ll have to thank her than..”

They had breakfast while watching the beautiful sunrise. From a freezing night, it turned to a scorching day as the sun climbed towards the zenith. They didn’t talk much but the silence was a comforting one, unlike during their journey to the beach. They stayed and watch the sun completely brighten the day before making their way back to the car.

“So, what’s next? Or is that all for the day?” she asked as they walk side by side.

“Nope. There’s more princess. Are you afraid of rides?” He hinted.

“We’re going to the amusement park?!” she exclaimed as she caught his hint. He just smiled at the view and nodded his head.

“That’s great! It’s been a while since I went on rides. You’re the best!” she squealed and kissed him on the cheeks. He’s face turned red and it was slowly heating up. She noticed the change and couldn’t help but chuckled at the adorable sight. ‘You can be sweet and masculine but at the same time adorable.’ She thought. The sound of engine roared and she got in the car with a smile plastered on her face.

“You like it that much huh? You’re still smiling widely.” Taeyeon said as he waited for her to buckle her seatbelt.

“Yup. I bugged Tiffany to bring me there but she just ignored it. So, I’m excited that I’m finally going to the amusement park. Come to think of it, I just remembered what you said to me when we first met.” She said as she fastened her seatbelt. She looked up on to see him inches away from her.

“What did I say princess?”

“Don’t tell me you forgot!”

“Give me a moment to recall it..” he said and placed his fingers on his chin while looking upwards. He knew what she was referring to but he just pretended not to.

“You forgot didn’t you?!” she huffed.

“I said if you needed help, just tell me and if you like, I can show you around, right?”

“You remembered!!” she squealed.

“Of course I did my dear Ice princess. I wouldn’t dare forget” he chuckled while concentrating on his driving. She smiled sheepishly at his response.

“Erm, why is there a guitar in your car?”

“I forgot to take it out yesterday..” She nodded at his reply and just enjoyed the rest of the trip

“So, what do you think they’re doing right now?” Woori asked the gang.

“I have no idea. Taeyeon brought her out at 5am. Who the hell goes on date that early?” Tiffany replied nonchalantly although she already knew his plan.

“Seohyun-ah, what’s your oppa up to, huh?” Yuri asked his best friend’s sister.

She looked at the guy next to her before replying to the rest. “I don’t think he’s up to anything. Maybe he just wants to spend more time with her?”

“Seohyun-ah, you’re a really terrible liar. You’re lucky you’re really adorable and your brother is extremely protective of you!” Sunny said to her. Seohyun frowned at the reply and turned to her boyfriend for comfort.

“Hey! Don’t say that. She’s just innocent and loyal, okay.” Yoong defensively replied.

“Alright, chill lover boy.” Hyo said.

“Let’s talk about the midget after we’ve ordered okay? I’m starving!!” Soo whined.

“Okay baby. Let’s get you some food.” Sunny pacified her boyfriend. Everyone was disgusted by the scene and start ordering their food.

“When do you think they’ll get together huh?” Woori asked.

“It’s hard to tell. I mean Taeng likes her a lot but he’s not sure about her..” Yul said, recalling what Taeyeon told him the other day.

“Judging by their intimacy and interaction, I think Jessica likes him too. I mean, why would she get jealous over his fans if she didn’t like him, right?” Sunny spoke up. All heads nodded in agreement as they devoured their food.

“Are you enjoying yourself?”

“Of course Taeyeon! Oh, candy floss!” she pointed at the direction and pulled him toward the cart. He loved this side of her. The gleeful look on her face is similar to a kid. He paid for the candy floss and they walked away. As they walked, Jessica kept feeding him and they took turn feeding each other.

“What else do you want to do?” he asked.

It was already noon and they decided to take it slow and took the less extreme rides. They had a quick bite for lunch and continued taking the rides. After spending over 5 hours at the amusement, he realised that they had to leave now. Suddenly, his phone vibrated.

‘Oppa, where are you now? If you’re still at the park, you should probably leave now!’

‘We’re leaving now. Where are you?’

‘I just finished packing the food. We’re waiting for you right now.’

‘Okay. I should reach there in 15 minutes. You can go out now I guess.’

“Who are you texting?”

“Ah, Seohyun.”

“You know, I like how you treat her.”

“What do you mean?”

“It’s rare to find a sibling like you two. You genuinely care for her and you’re extremely loving and protective of her. It’s really sweet.”

“She’s my only sister. Of course I have to do all that.”

They reached the car and he started the engine. “You look exhausted. Why don’t you take a rest and I’ll wake you once we’ve reached.”

“Where are we going now?”

“That’s a secret.”

“Fine” she grunted. He just smiled at her and continued with his driving.

‘This is it Taeyeon. The moment you’ve been waiting for is here. After tonight, you’ll either be in a relationship or still single. Let’s just pray that everything goes according to plan. You can do it! HwaiTaeng!’ he mentally encouraged himself. He was constantly looking at her. She looks so peaceful. As the light turn red, he took out his phone to check his message.

‘Oppa, we left it at a nearby tree. Anyway, goodluck! Don’t be too tense and just be yourself.’ He smiled at the text. Before reaching the place, Taeyeon stopped the car and woke her up.

“Are we there yet?” she asked and looked around.

“Not really. It’s just that I need you to do something first.”

“What is it?” she eyed him sceptically.

“I need you to wear this” he showed her a blindfold.

“Why?!”

“Please. I promise you it’s nothing bad.”

“Argh! Fine. But you better not do anything funny Kim Taeyeon or I’m gonna kick your .”

“Yes Ma’am!” he saluted and proceeded to put on the blindfold. Once he’s sure that she couldn’t see anything, he continued driving. They finally reached the destination. He looked at the time and smiled. ‘Right on time.’ He thought. He got out and went to the back seat to take his guitar. He then proceeded to help her out and guide her through.

“We’re here but you can’t take it off just yet. So, please bear with it princess.” She just grunted and crossed her arms. He brought her to the water breaker and sat her down as he made some preparation. He sat next to her and finally took off her blindfold.

Once the blindfold was taken off, she was left speechless. She wanted to be angry at the guy but the mesmerizing view prevented her from doing so. The sunset view was amazing. She never thought that she’s ever experience such moment but this guy just made her dream come true. Today alone, you’ve given me the unexpected Kim Taeyeon.

“Beautiful, isn’t it?” she said.

“Yeah. It really is.” He replied. She turned to him only to find him staring at her.

“Why are you staring at me like that?”

“Oh, I’m sorry. It’s just that you looked really beautiful.”

“So cheesy Taeyeon and when did you prepare all the food?”

“You don’t have to know that princess.”

“I see that you brought along your guitar. Can you play me a song?”

“Sure.” He took his guitar and turned to her as he began strumming the guitar.

They ended the song on the same note and they never left each other’s gaze.

“Just like the song said, two is better than one. No one has made me feel the way you do. You, Jessica Jung Sooyeon, have turned me into a love fool. I have gone past liking you, Jessica. I love you. I know that we’ve only known each other for a short while but I just can’t deny these feelings. Jessica, I want to be everything that you ever wanted. I want to take all your worries away. I want to make you smile when you see me. I want to be the person that you want to be with all the time. Most importantly, I want you to be mine.” As he finished his speech, he handed her a bouquet of Daisy flower. He was extremely nervous and his heart was pounding furiously as if he had run a marathon. Her silence was driving him insane and he was slowly losing his confident.

First she was mesmerized by the beautiful sunset. Second, she was blown away by his sweet serenade and now, she was speechless by his “proposal”. ‘How on earth did I manage to meet a guy as sweet, cute, masculine and amazing as him?’

“Two is definitely better than one and I wouldn’t want to be with any other. You’ve done so much for me today and all the other days. You’ve given me the best date ever. I would be a fool, to let you slip by and regret for the rest of my life. I love you, Kim Taeyeon.” She took the bouquet and brought it up. A warm pair of hand engulfed her and she gladly accepted it and returned the hug. “I love you” he whispered and kissed her ears. She smiled and did the same to him. They pulled away and had their first kiss as a couple.

They walk back to the car hand in hand, both feeling at ease knowing that they now belong to each other. They walked in silence and enjoyed the night breeze together.

“Taeyeon.”

“Yes?”

“Now that I’m your girlfriend, will all your fan girls stop harassing you?”

“That’s hard to say my dear. I am, extremely good looking” She let go of his hand and punched him.

“Ouch. I didn’t know my princess was this violent. I was just joking. Maybe they will stop harassing me. Yuri lost his “popularity” when everyone found out that he’s with Tiffany, so maybe it’ll be the same?” he said and put his hand around her neck and kissed her. Her heart fluttered as he kissed her again. ‘Aish, I feel so giddy. Can’t believe he’s mine now..’

They reached the front porch and Taeyeon immediately got out and went over to the passenger’s seat. He walked her to the steps and waited for her to find her keys.

“Sica”

“Hmm?”

“Thank you for accepting me.”

“I love you” hearing those words, he leaned forward to capture her lips.
