I stared at the ceiling while lying down on my bed. It is already 2:30 am nut I am still wide awake. I could hear Chloe's slow breathing indicating that she is in a deep sleep. It has been a long day and honestly, I feel so drained. I kept on thinking about what Jiyong said earlier and I don't know what to say. I am so confused right now.

I jumped a little when I heard the front door slam. It must be Oppa and he just got home. I got out of bed and wore my robe. I slowly opened the bedroom door so as not wake Chloe up.

I went to the kitchen and saw my brother drinking water. "Oppa." I softly called him. he jumped in surprise. "Hyun Ae! You scared me. Why aren't you asleep yet?" he asked me.

"Oppa, you think that afetr everything that happened today, I would still be able to sleep.? Oppa, I seriously am thinking of leaving right now." I told him honestly. "Leaving? Why? Because of what happened today?" He asked, looking at me. I could see that he is as confused as I am right now.

I nodded at him. "Neh, Oppa. I thought that by coming back to Seoul, Chloe and I would get to start a new life but I was wrong. I felt that I have just brought my daughter closer to danger by coming here. I felt like a monster for putting my daughter in this situation."

"Hyun Ae, look at me. I was the one who made a huge mistake. If only I had not been so reckless the other night, this would not have happened." he told me, regret lacing his voice.
