The trip was short but fun. Time surely flies fast when you are enjoying. Just chatting with my two best friends/ brothers, Hae and Hyuk, was already fun.  I was most comfortable since I was with the persons closest to me. Months of busy schedules made us too occupied to just sit around and relax this way.

                It was raining when we arrived at our cottage. There was a forecast that a low pressure area was to pass. We decided then to isolate ourselves at the cottage. We just ordered from the customer service, watched T.V. shows, talked endlessly, and even played truth or dare and slept.

                Well I guess it’s all just that for our first day.

I heard a loud pounding at the door. I tried to open my eyes and saw Hyukjae’s face inches from me. Yeah, we slept together at the living area of the cottage. I mean the three of us slept together, sprawled on the floor.

                I saw him wipe the saliva hanging by his lips up to his chin as he groaned when he was disturbed by the knocking on the door. He scratched his eyes and his stomach and when he opened his eyes he saw me looking at him.

 “Hyung…the door…”

“Yeah. Open it.” I said

“Aish.” He stood up “Who could this be at this hour?” He complained and checked his phone for the time. “It’s only 6:00.”

Hae who seemed to be awoken by the noise, but not totally, murmured while his eyes closed. “I didn’t order anything… I swear.” then slept back

As Hyukjae opened the door, it swung widely.

“Good Morning!” Kyuhyun shouted

Hyukjae closed the door then he came back beside me and went back to sleep.

“Good Morning Kyu.” I remembered he texted me earlier that he was finally coming and a “where are you?” since I was sleepy I just replied “cottage 212”, our cottage number.

“Okay Kyu, since you’re already here, let’s sleep.” I said through my half lidded eyes.

I closed my eyes, and then I felt him tugging my sleeve. I opened my eyes and he was smiling and saw him waking the other two. So we decided to sit up.

“Kyu it’s too early.” I said

“I came early so that we can start our activities early.”

“Still sleepy.” Hae said.

“I’ve probably missed all the fun yesterday so it’s good that we start early right? I mean are you that tired?’ Kyuhyun inquired.

 “The fun hasn’t really started yet. We just stayed here in the cottage the whole time since we came. I mean we had fun but if you mean out there, not yet.”  Hyukjae explained

“What?! So the more we should get going!” Kyuhyun reasoned

“okay… okay… we’ll just prepare.”

                We had breakfast at the resort’s restaurant. Kyuhyun had a list of the things he wanted to do.

“Guys, do you have suggestions of things to do?” he asked.

“So you do have itinerary, huh?” I asked

“So what will we do first?” Hyukjae asked

“Climbing to visit the temple?” Kyuhyun suggested

“But the weather’s not good… I heard strong rains will pour today.” Hae said.

“So what alternative can you suggest then?” I asked Kyu

“I don’t know, we can look at their museums here though.”

“We can.” I said.

Then I ate my pizza.

“What are you eating?” he asked

“Pizza.” I answered

“I know what I meant was you could eat something fresh here or a specialty. Why that?”

“But I love my pizza.” I pouted.

“Here” He offered his beef stew.

“ No thanks.” I smiled.

Apparently today wasn’t a good day for museums. The two thought it was boring. I, too, thought the same.  Kyu suggested something else but still we ended up in a recreation center playing billiards, bowling and darts. I guess we, except Kyuhyun, were just too lazy to go somewhere.
