Shinhye pulls away her hand from Yonghwa.

“Oppa, I don’t think I can be your friend anymore.”

Yonghwa started to worry.

“Why?”

“Firstly, I’m your wife, legally.”

Yonghwa waited patiently for her to answer.

“Secondly, I never hated you; I never say that I won’t accept you either.”

“What does it means?”

Shinhye gulp before she leans to his side. With a beet red blushing face, she places a kiss on Yonghwa’s cheek. She nods.

Yonghwa smiles.

“Is that a yes?”

She nods again. Yonghwa reach for her face and caresses her cheek. He then lifts her chin to look at her eyes.

“Thank you for coming into my life Shinhye.”

He smiles before places a kiss on her forehead. Shinhye’s face turns redder. She then stands up carefully to not wake Eunmi up.

“I’ll go to my room first oppa.”

She walks away even before Yonghwa can answers.

Yonghwa smiles.

“I’m in love.”

He murmurs and follows Shinhye’s steps with his eyes.

Shinhye wrinkles her forehead when she feels something moving along her arms. With half-opened eyes, she pats Eunmi back to sleep before she turns to check the thing on her arm.

When she turns around, she was met with Yonghwa’s smiling face who was sitting beside her.

“Oppa, what are you doing in here?”

She was surprised to see him in her room, with a pajama.

“Sorry, I went down to drink water, when I walk outside your room; I see that you’re not using your blanket. I just help you with that.”

Shinhye pulls her blanket to cover her body with a blushing face.

“Thanks.”

Yonghwa pats her hair and walks out of the room.

“Did he saw a lot? I was wearing short night dress.”

Shinhye palms her face in embarrassment.

“Ottokeyo?”

She feels her heart beats faster.

“There are few bottles of water in his room. Why did he go down for a drink?”

Yonghwa rubs his nape as he walk to his room. He was having a hard time to sleep that night. He decided to peek on Shinhye and Eunmi when he was mesmerized with Shinhye’s angelic sleeping face. He then walks slowly to look at her in short distance. However, his hand can’t stay still that he caresses her hair and cheek. He smiles when she shoves away his hand smoothly. He acts bolder and caresses her smooth arms with his finger which makes her wakes up.

“Why are you so obvious? Went to drink water? That was a lame reason Yonghwa. Not using blanket? I don’t know how you can manage with that kind of answer.”

Yonghwa scold himself in irritation but suddenly a smile crept on his face.

“Shinhye ya, only a simple cheek kiss can make me sleepless, how will I act if you do more than that?”

He smiles dreamily and slumps his body on his bed.

He took a pillow and hugs it as he drifted to sleep with a wide smile.

“Oppa.”

Yonghwa wakes up with a fading sound of Shinhye’s voice and knocks on his door. He rubs his eyes as he glances to his alarm clock. He put the pillow that he hugs to the side and moves nearer to the clock to look at the time.

“Oh I’m late.”

He walks out of his bed abruptly and opens the door.

“Shinhye, why did you wake me up only now? I’m late.”

“I had been waking you up since last half an hour.”

She answers stuttering.

“Why didn’t you just open the door?”

Shinhye doesn’t answer and just lowered her head.

“It’s okay. I’ll be down in a while.”

Shinhye nods and walks down.

He runs to the bathroom and took a quick shower.

He walks out after a while and put his clothes on really quick.

“Shinhye, I won’t be taking breakfast.”

Yonghwa said as he walks down the stairs. He then dialed someone number on his phone.

“Delay it for another 10 minutes. I’ll be there in a while.”

He sips his coffee and kisses his daughter before he kisses Shinhye’s forehead.

“I’ll be back after the meeting.”

“Eh omma.”

Shinhye looks up quickly when Yonghwa said omma. She blushes when she saw Mrs. Jung on the door; smiling.

“I’m so late. I’m leaving first omma.”

Yonghwa left the scene quickly. Mrs. Jung walks to Shinhye and hold her hands.

“Am i seeing things now? Did he just do that to you?”

Shinhye doesn’t answers. Her face had turns to a ripe tomato when she looks at Mrs. Jung. Mrs. Jung smiles.

“I’m so happy Shinhye ya. He is really changing. I thought he was just acting in front of me.”

“Ani omma, oppa isn’t acting.”

“Ara. I’m just thinking that he was acting.”

She smiles adoringly.

“Finally my Shinhye succeed in changing my son’s cold heart. Gomawo sweetie.”

Shinhye smiles.

“I didn’t do anything omma. He changes by his own means.”

“And you are the reason of it.”

Shinhye smiles.

“Omma, do you want to have breakfast with us?”

“Kenchana. I had my breakfast with your appa at home.”

Shinhye nods.

“Have you eaten?”

“Not yet. I usually feed Eunmi first.”

“Eat, I will feed Eunmi. We need to go out for shopping later.”

Shinhye wrinkles her forehead.

“Shopping? Wae?”

“Shopping for Eunmi’s birthday dear.”

“Ah sorry omma. I forgot.”

“Kenchana. Just get ready after this meal.”

“But oppa said he will be home after the meeting.”

Mrs. Jung smiles.

“Is he? Let’s bring him along then. He will take care of Eunmi when we shop.”

Shinhye laughs.

“I don’t think oppa can handle Eunmi alone omma.”

“Wae?”

“He was so awkward when he holds her during our outing at Everland.”

“Is it?”

“Deh.”

Shinhye shoves a spoon of rice into .

“Omma.”

Eunmi suddenly said in between her meal. She held out her arms trying to reach Shinhye on her other side.

Mrs. Jung widens her eyes in surprise when she heard Eunmi speaks.

“She talks?”

Shinhye nods.

“Deh but she only knows how to say omma. She keeps saying omma even when she was playing.”

Shinhye smiles happily.

“She must love you so much then.”

She smiles again.

“Eunmi is the best thing ever that I got thanks to you omma.”

“We are the one who should thank you darling. You sacrifice a lot for us.”

“And I got a complete family in return.”

Mrs. Jung smiles.

“I hope your life will be fills with happiness Shinhye. May you be happy always.”
