'Sorry'
The Blind EyesWhen Wooyoung arrived at the park, he sighed. He took a seat on a bench and stared at the same place he had met IU. He couldn't help but smile a bit as he clearly remembered how the two met.
Ah, good old times, he thought, checking his cell phone. Tiffany had just texted him that IU was going to school, which made him smile even brighter. He knew how important school was for IU. Besides, when the two met, she was the one who said that school was important.
She even said to not to ditch school. Aigoo, but I had to this time because of her, Wooyoung thought, as his face fell. He kicked an acorn, as a squirrel came over. The squirrel examined the kicked acorn and stuffed it in its mouth. Right then, Wooyoung heard a familiar bark. He raised an eyebrow and looked towards the direction he heard the barking.
"Bummie?" he called. A small black dot as spotted far away. Then, the dot came closer and closer, as the figure became clearer and clearer. Wooyoung widened his eyes, shocked to see IU's guide dog running towards the squirrel.
What the…what's Bummie doing here? Wooyoung wondered. The squirrel looked alerted, as it quickly ran away from the chasing dog. Before Wooyoung knew it, he was on the ground with Bummie his cheek.
"Hey, hey! Bummie-ah, get off!" Wooyoung laughed, pushing Bummie off.
"Bummie! Bummie! Aigoo, where am I?" a familiar voice panicked.
Wooyoung's eyes widened as he turned around. "IU?"
Wooyoung oppa? IU quickly turned around, surprised to hear Wooyoung's voice. What…Wait, where am I? Am I at school?
"IU, what are you doing here?" Wooyoung asked, handing Bummie's leash to IU. IU grabbed the leash tightly, as she lowered her head.
"Er…Bummie ran away while Key and Tiffany were talking."
"Oh, I see…Wait, are you even going to school? You're not in your uniform," Wooyoung pointed out, staring at IU. IU was simlpy wearing a graphic t-shirt, a pair of dark blue jeans, and sneakers. IU blushed and rubbed her neck.
"Oh…this isn't my uniform? That makes sense why the clothing feels so loose," IU mumbled shyly. Silence filled the awkward conversation.
When are Key and Tiffany going to notice that IU disappeared? They should be here any minute now, Wooyoung thought, staring at the blind-girl. Bummie chased his tail in circle while IU still stared down at the ground. Well, it could be a good time apologizing to IU now.
"Look IU, I'm so–"
"I FOUND HER!" Key shouted.
What the…I was about to say sorry to her when no one was here! Now you guys come?! Wooyoung thought, irritated as he saw Key and Tiffany running to IU.
"C'mon, IU! Let's go to school–My gosh, you wore that when you went out? They don't call my a fashionista for nothin'. Let's go! Oh, and thanks, Wooyoung, for keeping her here," Key said quickly, dragging IU away.
"Wait!" Wooyoung shouted. Key stopped dragging IU as Wooyoung quickly scribbled something on a piece of paper. Then, he opened IU's hand and placed a note on her palm.
"Read it, or as someone to read it for you, when you have time. I'll be going now. See ya!" Wooyoung said, smiling softly at IU. IU raised an eyebrow, as Tiffany pushed IU and Key.
"Alright, let's go! We have only a few minutes until school starts. Let's take Wooyoung's limo. I have permission to use it since I'm his fiance," Tiffany said, pushing IU and Key into the limo. When Tiffany climbed aboard, IU unfolded the piece of paper Wooyoung had handed her.
Drats, it isn't in braille, IU thought, disappointed. She tapped on Tiffany's shoulder and handed the note to her.
"Tiffany, what does this say?" IU asked. "It's not in braille."
Tiffany grabbed the note gently and stared at the messy handwriting. She couldn't help but smile a bit as she bent closer to IU's ear.
"All it says is…'Sorry,'" Tiffany whispered, hoping that Key wouldn't hear them. The corner of IU's lips tugged upwards as she crumbled up Wooyoung's note in her fist. IU kept the note close to her chest, grinning ear to ear. Key, of course, wondered what IU was smiling about, but he decided not to ask. Tiffany smirked as she stared out the window.
Wooyoung oppa, you really have your own way of apologizing, don't you?
