Strange Feelings

"Jaein, where's your little brother?" Mrs. Yoo called out from down the stairs, inside the kitchen.

Closing the book that she was reading, Jaein yawned while lightly stretching both her arms up before heading down to grab something to eat. “He’s probably with his friends at the park.” Jaein shouted back while plopping down on the sofa next to her dad. Mr. Yoo turned to his eldest daughter.

“Isn’t it getting late? I think you should go pick the boy up.”

“Why? It’s still early though.” Crossing her legs, Jaein laughed softly when the show they were watching suddenly cut to a funny scene. A second later, Mrs. Yoo strolled over to the living room, tapping both her husband and daughter on the head with a ladle. “Oh, don’t be so lazy, Jaein. You know how worried I get when Jaeho isn’t home before seven. Besides, your dad and I have some place to go in a half hour.” Mrs. Yoo stated while throwing a look over to her husband.

“Oh right.” Rounding his eyes in surprise, Mr. Yoo headed back to the bedroom to get changed.

“But, Mom. Do I really have to? It’s only 5:18 pm. Not to mention, Jaeho’s probably with his guy friends too. They should be old enough to manage anyway.” Eyes glued to the show, the girl let the matter go. Heck, it’s a Friday afternoon, she was honestly too tired and lazy to get out of the house. Not after all those hours of reading. Chuckling at the girl’s form on the couch, Mrs. Yoo ruffled her daughter’s hair affectionately. “And those boys are only ten, Jaein. Do your mom a favor and head out to the market before you come back too alright? Thanks honey.”

Before the girl could protest, the woman have already left the room. Jaein pouted while hugging the pillow on the couch, feeling tired.

“Are you going to stay in that position all day?” Mr. Yoo questioned at the sight, amused.

“Possibly.”

Popping her head back into the living room, her mom frowned when the girl was close to falling asleep. “Yoo Jaein!” Snapping her eyes open instantly, Jaein smiled cheekily, jumping up from the couch in surprise. “Okay. I’m up! Just kidding.” She headed for the stairs, mumbling in a rush.

“Good.” Her mom smiled.

Standing in front of the mirror, Jaein parted her hair, twisting it into two loose braids. She made a face when a strand of her fringe wouldn’t stay still. Oh how she loved her messy bed hair. Not.

Satisfied, the girl headed out of the house after pocketing her wallet and phone into her pocket.

The park was only a fifteen minute walk away, so getting there in time would be no problem. The nice afternoon breeze greeted her, allowing Jaein to sigh in content at the wonderful feeling. When she reached the park, the girl spotted her little brother by the swings. She nearly laughed out loud when Jaeho’s body almost fell off the swing from the force of the person pushing him from behind.

“Aren’t you pushing me way too roughly?!” Jaeho gasped, turning back around to face the girl.

“Sorry! Are you okay?”

“Oh, stop being so rude you little brat.” Rapping her knuckles against the boy’s head, Jaeho rolled his eyes at the appearance of his older sister. Ah Yeon beamed brightly, walking around the swings to greet Jaein. “Unnie! I missed you.” Jaein chuckled sweetly, hands grasping around the other girl’s hand. “Me too! Don’t mind him, he’s just a big bully.” Pointing an accusing finger to the boy, he huffed and turned the other way to continue swinging. Ah Yeon shook her head, smiling.

“It’s okay. Oppa just needed someone to give him a little push.” Ah Yeon defended him.

“Aww. How cute.” Jaein clasped both hands together, as if to little brother. Ah Yeon pinked, making her way back behind Jaeho. Her hands met the boy’s back, pushing him softly this time. Looking behind him, the boy noticed the shy gaze Ah Yeon was returning him. He looked away, flustered. “Stop pushing me already. Do you want to see me fall over again or something?”

Reaching over to flick Jaeho once on the forehead, the boy frowned.

“Oww. Noona!” He whined.

“You’re lucky to have such a cute girl by your side. So stop being so mean.” Jaein scolded him, with a large smile plastered on her face. “What cute girl?! You’re being delusional again.” He ignored her previous words, causing the girl behind him to pout. Before Jaein could speak up once again, a voice called out for Ah Yeon from across the park. “Oh look, it’s your boyfriend.” The boy smirked.

“What?” Jaein blinked, turning around.

She was at a loss for words when their eyes met. “Ah Yeon. What are you doing back there?” Jin walked over to the swings, taking note of the young boy in front of her. Ah Yeon responded energetically, “I’m playing with Jaeho, oppa.” Jaein looked between the other three, confused.

As long as she had known the younger girl, she didn’t know that Jin could possibly be Ah Yeon’s older brother. The older boy nodded, quickly glancing at his phone to check the time to find that it was still early. “Oh hey, Jin-hyung!” Jaeho flashed him a large innocent grin.

“Hey there.” He smiled, patting him softly on the head.

Looking at his older sister’s dazed look, Jaeho snickered and gave her a hard push, as if motioning her to say something. Jaein frowned when he made kissy faces at her. “Yah, Yoo Jaeho!” She hissed.

His hand moved from the boy’s head to the other girl standing next to them. “And you too.” Jin chuckled at her expression while his eyes travelled to the tip of her hair. He patted it down for her, unaware how shy she was at his touch. “J-Jin. W-What are you doing here?” Jaein squeaked, not sure what else to say since her vocabulary always seemed to be lacking when he was around her.

Can I ever be normal around him for once?! Probably not.

Pulling his hand away, Jin lowered himself to meet her eyes. Jaein froze, their eyes locking at the same height, since the boy had been at least a head taller than she was. Much quite taller, actually.

“You always seem to be asking me that, Jaein. Are you not happy to see me?” Jin frowned, causing the girl to frantically shake her head in response. “N-No. That’s not it. I’m really happy to see you!” Jaein accidentally blurted out without thinking, gasping at her choice of words the next second.

Ah crap.

Ah Yeon giggled at the two, and Jaeho remained silent. He didn’t even need to say anything, knowing that his older sister would definitely make a fool out of herself effortlessly. Oh, Yoo Jaein.

“Really?” He questioned, biting his lips with a small smile.

Jaein nodded her head slowly, hands on her fringe to cover her eyes. “Um. Yeah..”

I’m really happy to see you too.

Jin gazed at her, glad that he was feeling the same way. Lowering her hand, she whispered over to him. “I didn’t know you were Ah Yeon’s brother.” Looking down at her, he smiled. “We’re not siblings though, just cousins.” “Oh.” Was all the girl could say, since Jaein was afraid of possibly embarrassing herself any further. Exchanging glances with Jaeho, he stuck his tongue out at her.

She wouldn’t want that to happen with Jaeho around. Oh god no.

“Oppa, my hands are tired. Can you switch with me?” Ah Yeon questioned with a sigh, and Jin turned to her. He laughed, observing the two. “Ah Yeon, why are you pushing him on the swings?”

“She volunteered to.” Jaeho spoke up.

“That’s not very nice of you, though. Shouldn’t it be the other way around?” Jin questioned.

Jaein nodded, happy that she wasn’t the only one who thought that way. “Yeah, Yoo Jaeho. You’re never going to get the ladies if you keep that up.” Jaein frowned while pinching his nose. He slapped her hand away, huffing. Ah Yeon giggled once more. “Oppa, your nose is red.” Her small hands caressed the boy’s nose, and this time, Jaeho didn’t repeat the same action. He just looked away.

“You know that your sister’s right.” Resting both hands on Jaein’s shoulders, Jin guided her towards the other vacant swing, softly pushing her down onto it. She blinked, turning to face him.

“See, Jaeho. It’s supposed to be like this.”

Placing his hands on her back, the boy started off slowly. Oh gosh. Jin’s pushing me! Jaein smiled as the swing moved upwards. Her legs swayed in accordance with his actions. Seconds later, the girl laughed in joy. Jin grinned at her childish behaviour, not even remembering he was in the act.

Anyone else there who was at the park would of thought that the two were in a relationship.

Ah Yeon blinked at the two, who was seemingly having more fun than she was. Jaein squealed when her face met the harsh wind seconds later. She was really high up in the air by now, but the girl didn’t complain one bit since the one pushing her was doing it ever so gently. He stopped, looking back over to the two kids who were watching them. Jaein turned around, and the boy continued.

“Then, you could also maybe do this.”

Jin’s fingers twirled with her hair, caressing a few strands that were sticking out messily.

Her large eyes gazed into his, while the boy focused on fixing her hair.

“U-Um…Thanks, Jin.” Jaein reached for her hair, but the boy made a move to take hold of her hand. He pulled her up with a smile, turning to the other two again. “Not so hard, right?”

Although she knew Jin was doing this just as a demonstration, she couldn’t help but feel happy.  Why did it seem like he was opening up to her, in a way? Jaein’s cheeks reddened, and she could almost sigh when the boy had released her hand from his grasp. They exchanged shy glances.

Jaeho took note of this and snickered.

“But Jin-hyung. How do you expect me to do things that only couples would do?” He looked over to Ah Yeon and he shook his head at her. She pouted at him and he shrugged.

“H-Huh?” Now it was the older boy’s turn to be silent.

He wasn’t even aware of what he had done, but now thinking back to it, his actions did seem quite intimate just now. “Oh, I was just…” Jin stopped, his lips forming into a straight line. He wasn’t always like this with other girls. Actually cross that out, he had never really done that with anyone else before. So why did he do it? Chuckling, Ah Yeon walked over to her cousin’s side and tugged on his hand. “It’s okay, Oppa. I’ll keep it a secret from Unnie that you like her.” She said quietly.

Jaein blinked when she heard the girl’s quiet voice, not absolute sure as to what she was saying.

Jin crouched down next to her, one hand cupped around Ah Yeon’s ear to whisper back.

“Oh. Will you?”

The boy was just playing along with his favourite cousin, seeing how adorable and innocent Ah Yeon was. Ah Yeon nodded and grinned. “Definitely!” Jaein looked towards her crush, curious. What were the two whispering about anyways? Jin averted his gaze to her with a soft smile, standing back up.

Oh, how much more can she take this boy? Just one smile towards her, and she could already melt.

Jin picked up the call that was vibrating against his jean pocket. “Hey.”

“Oh, it’s six already? Yup, we’ll be back soon.”

Ending the call, he called Ah Yeon over. “Ah Yeon, let’s go. Before your parents start to worry!”

“Just a second!” She responded, quickly wrapping her arms around Jaeho’s neck. “Yah!” He muttered, both hands on her arm when he felt the blush creeping up to his cheeks. She chuckled, releasing her hold around him. “Bye, see you next week!” Ah Yeon walked back over next to Jin.

Jaein laughed at her little brother’s reaction. You can’t fool me, Jaeho.

“W-Wait. Ah Yeon-“ Jin was cut off as he felt his cousin pushing him towards Jaein. “Hmm?” She looked towards the both of them in curiosity. “Before we go, can you give her a hug as well?”

The boy blinked, not expecting Ah Yeon’s request. “Y-You want me to what?”

Jaein shared the same blank expression, mentally blushing at that thought. Jaeho got up from the swings, smirking as he pushed his sister on the back harshly, running away after what he had done. Jaein squealed when she fell forward. Reacting quick, Jin held onto her wrists, steadying her in surprise as well. “You okay?” Jaein looked towards the path that Jaeho had sped off to and fumed. “Yoo. Jae. Ho!” She yelled, but not before flashing Jin an apologetic smile.

“Sorry, I have go to. Jaeho’s such a brat.”

“It’s okay, I have a brother as well. I would know.” Jin recalled, shaking his head at the memories.

Jaein smiled nonetheless. “Okay then. I’ll see you…” Stopping her sentence mid-way, she wasn’t sure what the rest of her words were going to be. In school, the two had never actually really talked much, but Jaein didn’t mind at all. It was already enough that he bothered to exchange words with her. Noticing the smile faltering on her lips, the boy knew exactly what she was thinking.

“We’re friends, right?”

Snapping out of her thoughts, Jaein remained silent. She replied with slight hesitation afterwards. “Y-Yeah. I guess so?” Jin gazed at her expression. The girl was quite happy at his words, and he felt relieved that she was no longer down.

“Alright, I’ll catch you at Soccer practice then.”

“O-Oh. Sure.” Jaein stammered.

But then a moment later, it had hit her. Wait a minute... How did he know that she would often be there to watch him near the soccer fields during lunch? She wasn’t the only one there, since Jin and the rest of the boys were really popular among the other female students, who would often cheer them on during the games. How could he not know though? Not when Jaein always had a pretty smile plastered on her face every time he scored. He thought that it was rather cute and attentive.

“Hey. How long are you going to continue flirting, sis? I’m not waiting for you!” Jaeho shouted.

She frowned, almost forgetting that she still had to get back at the boy for pushing her like that. Jin glanced at her, signaling her to go. Jaein nodded, patting Ah Yeon on the head softly.”

“See you soon, Ah Yeon! B-Bye Jin.”

Ah Yeon watched as the girl jogged into the distance. She turned to the older boy, tugging on his hand once more. “Hmm?” He looked down at her attentively. “Isn’t Jaein unnie super cute?”

Jin ruffled her hair with a quick smile, walking alongside Ah Yeon out the park.

"Nope, adorable.”

Setting a couple of things into her bag, Haekyung made sure she didn’t forget anything.

She was supposed to be hanging with the siblings knowing that it’s Saturday. But no, here she was, in her room packing her Art material before heading over to her partner’s house. Ugh, there was just no way she’d let Jungkook come over and mess up the place like he had done last time.

Once was enough, really.

Since he lived nearby, Haekyung couldn’t stay reluctant of not wanting to finish this project. Half an hour later, she was standing in front of his door, unsure of what to expect. The girl didn’t know much about him anyways, and she honestly never really bothered to learn about him.

Her only priority right now, was to work on the stupid assignment.

To her surprise, when the front door clicked opened, Taehyung stood there staring back at her.

“Oh hey. I didn’t know you were coming over.”

“Well, neither did I. Mrs. Choi’s still a fault for pairing me up with that idiot.” Haekyung sighed, entering through the front door. Taehyung chuckled softly, stepping aside to let the girl take her shoes off. When she looked up, he flashed her sly grin. “Hmm. Want to be my partner instead?”

Haekyung glanced at him, shaking her head. “Nope.”

He pouted cutely, bumping shoulders with her as if he was unsatisfied with her answer. “Why not?”

“Too late for that now, silly.”

“Right, it’s been a month. Have you guy even started yet?” Taehyung gestured her to follow him up the stairs. Her eyes casually scanned the place over, taking note of how Jungkook’s house was structured. Well, not that she really cared or anything, but was rather bored at the moment.

His house was indeed quite nice though, even if she didn’t want to admit it.

“Yeah, but it’s not going too well though. I can’t stand staring at Jungkook’s face for more than an hour.” Haekyung stated sarcastically, and Taehyung laughed. The door creaked open, and the boy came walking out with a few books stacked in his arms. His eyes lit up when she glanced back.

“You’re early, Min Haekyung. Did you miss me that much?”

Seeing that nonchalant smile on his face is already enough to indicate that he was teasing her yet again. Haekyung made a face at him, rolling her eyes. She walked into the spacious room and sat down, rummaging her things in the bag before setting them on the table to start working.

“Only because I plan on finishing this sketch before we both get a big fat F, genius.”

Jungkook grinned, tilting his head to the side, amused. “Yeah, okay. Whatever you say.”

While Jungkook made his way down the stairs, Taehyung crossed his arms over the edge of the table, sitting beside her to observe what she was working on. When he could finally make out those hilarious lines and marking on the rough paper, he bursts out laughing, his eyes forming into the most adorable expression. Haekyung looked uneasy, trying not to get into that smile.

“Whoa, that’s your sketch?”

She flinched, looking towards her right to find the boy leaning over her to spy on her work.

“Hey. What’s so funny about my drawing?” Her frown deepened when he couldn’t stop laughing. She looked back to the sketchbook, trying to see what was so damn hilarious about it.

But then the more she stared at it, the corners of her lips were beginning to lift.

“Hahaha!” Taking out his phone, the boy took a quick snap of the sketch, saving the picture as a file before storing it back into his pocket. “What was that for?!” Haekyung questioned, embarrassed with her own work. “Let me keep it as a small gift, okay? I’ll get a good laugh whenever I’m down.”

Though he was good friends with Jungkook, the boy acted as if their statuses didn’t matter, for he was probably going to send it to the rest of the guys before the week ends. What are friends for?

Haekyung stared at him in the strangest way, but she couldn’t help but laugh along afterwards.

“Why do I feel like you’re praising me, while making fun of my work at the same time?”

Taehyung shrugged, the smile reaching up to his eyes.

Before he could answer her, Haekyung almost yelped when Jungkook squeezed in between the two, snatching the paper away from her hands. His brows knitted, when he realized what was on it.

“Hey. I do not look like that.”

On the center of the paper was a figure of a big cartoon head attached to a small body, a huge mustache painted on with devil horns. Oh, how much Haekyung wanted to laugh at his expression. Jungkook scoffed, a small smile hanging on his lips. So much for wanting to pass this assignment.

“Oh, really? I see no difference though.” Haekyung countered, leaning in closer to analyze his features. Taehyung just started laughing again. Jungkook clicked his tongue, reaching over to grab the drawing when the girl swept it off his hand. She leaned back, gazing at him in caution.

“Pft, don’t touch my precious drawing.”

“I’m going to shred it into pieces.” Jungkook warned in a playful tone.

“What?! No. I haven’t even framed it yet.” The girl gaped, hauling herself up on the floor to dodge his attempts on stealing the paper. “Get back here, Min Haekyung.” Jungkook huffed, extending an arm out to wrestle her in a tight hold. The girl squealed when she couldn’t run, his left arm wrapped around her neck. “Hey. Let go of me, Jeon Jungkook!” Haekyung struggled helplessly.

He turned to her, narrowing his eyes at her with a soft grin.

“Not until you pass me that paper, ahjumma.”

“Uh. That’s not going to happen. And how many times have I told you to stop calling me that?!” Haekyung groaned, trying to break free. She hid the drawing behind her back, protecting it.

“Taehyung, this moron’s suffocating me!”

The boy leaned his chin against the palm of his hand, staring at the scene in amusement. He walked over to the two to separate them. Jungkook frowned shortly, pushing her forehead back with his finger. Haekyung just sighed in relief, happy that her masterpiece wasn’t going to be ruined. “I really hate you.” Jungkook whispered into her ear, the cold tingles made Haekyung slightly jump, her body shifting to the other side before pushing him away. He snickered at her quick reaction.

“Stop stealing my lines, you idiot.”

“Are you sure you two will be fine without me? I mean, I don’t want either of you to rip off each other’s heads while I’m gone.” Taehyung chuckled innocently, eyeing the two who were sitting next to one another with a rather wide distance. “Can’t you stay? I won’t be able to stand him,”

Haekyung answered, irritated.

“You’re acting like I’m the guest here, Min Haekyung.” Jungkook rolled his eyes, throwing an eraser that missed her head. She darted it back to him, with the object smacking itself onto the sides of the boy’s face. She stuck her tongue out at him, refusing to look at him any longer.

“Hey.” He growled.

“You’re welcome.” Haekyung replied, flipping her sketchbook to the next page as she ignored him.

Jungkook spared her one last look, a look of disbelief crossing his face. This was her first time over, yet it seemed like they had both known each other for ages. Which was definitely not the case.

“Whatever, you grumpy idiot. You better not submit that draft when it’s due.”

“Do I look stupid to you?” Haekyung rolled her eyes.

“Don’t ask, because you’re not going to get the answer you’re looking for.” He grinned.

“I know that, moron. Stop distracting me.”

To be honest, he didn’t actually feel annoyed when he was with her. It was strange at first, but slowly, Jungkook was starting to become fonder of her presence. He liked it, in fact.

His train of thoughts were interrupted when Taehyung spoke up.

“Yo, Jungkook. Are your parents coming back anytime soon? If so, I think I can stay for dinner.”

“Huh? Yeah. Stay for dinner all you want.”

“In that case, I’m leaving before that happens.” Haekyung said, fiddling with her pencil.

“Stay.” As if on cue, both boys blurted in unison, causing the girl to turn to them in surprise. She blinked, looking between the two. “Why? I don’t want to bother you guys.” Haekyung responded as if it was the most natural thing to say, but in truth she wasn’t sure if she wanted to stay.

Meeting Jungkook’s parents would surely be awkward. Very.

“Just stay for dinner, you persistent ahjumma. I’m not that heartless, okay?” Jungkook knocked her softly on the head. Haekyung glanced at him shortly, tapping the pencil against her lips. Somehow, she wasn’t too bothered with his irritating nickname for her at this very moment. The way he said it sounded quite warm and accepting. Well, at least that was the way she had interpreted it anyway.

Haekyung long figured that it wasn’t usual of him to act this way.

There you go, being all gentle again.

“Fine.”

“I’ll walk you home after that, hmm?” Taehyung offered, grinning.

“Just take care of yourself, Taehyung.” Sporting a small chuckle at his silly expression, Haekyung turned back to what she was doing. The longer she stays, the faster she can get this over with.

Jungkook studied her determined position, smiling softly to himself.

As if one meeting would sum up the entire assignment. There was still two months left to go.

“Idiot.” He whispered.

---

It’s funny how she lost track of time so easily.

All it took was two hours and a whole lot of silence for the girl to fall into such state.

Supporting her head against her palm, Haekyung glanced at the page before her. Her fingers moved accordingly, but her mind was not. Her lids had the urge to slam shut on her every couple of seconds, and it was quite frustrating. At this rate, how was she going to get anything done?

Sitting between the two boys, everything suddenly became quiet.

Haekyung would often look towards Jungkook’s direction, to catch a quick glimpse of his facial structures. Shifting back between this process, Haekyung was able to work peacefully. And so was Jungkook. Meanwhile, Taehyung was busying himself with making notes for the upcoming Chemistry test the following week. So that was how things were for the past two hours.

Not long after, Haekyung closed her eyes, drifting off.

Her head bobbed up and down unconsciously, and she struggled to stay awake. Taehyung was the first one to notice her swaying like that side to side. When the girl’s arm bumped into his, he glanced at her softly. With parted and lids half closed, he chuckled as he turned back around.

Falling from the direction to her right, Taehyung shifted a little closer to comply with her actions.

If she was tired, then he wouldn’t mind lending her his shoulder.

He stared at the pages of the text, waiting for the impact. But it never came.

The second he turned his head to glance at the girl, Jungkook had already caught her fall. Though, not intentionally. When he noticed Haekyung was probably about to clumsily slam her head onto the table, the boy softly pulled on her arm to prevent it. But somehow, the girl was too tired and gave in, her head gently falling onto his shoulder. The next second, his eyes travelled over to her.

Jungkook blinked, not knowing what to say.

Even if he did say something, Haekyung had already dozed off.

Taehyung's attention parted, sight on the two supporting each other’s weight. Somehow, he felt his efforts going to waste. However, he wasn’t sure if there was a slight tinge of disappointment or not.

At least the girl looked comfortable though.

Oh, if only Haekyung knew who she was leaning right now. Ironically, the girl leaned in closer, feeling the warmth of the boy’s body radiate from him. His skin felt soft, and inviting.

Plus he smelled quite nice too, somewhere between the mix of Vanilla and Berries.

Feeling himself tense up, Jungkook was no longer looking at her. His hands reached over for the other sketchbook laying in the center, carefully sliding it over to him. He brightened when he noticed a newly drawn figure on the once blank page.

Not bad, Min Haekyung.

Although it was nowhere near completion, she had already just finished sketching the portion of his eyes. In comparison with that careless drawing witnessed just hours ago, it was clearly better.

“Much better.”

Jungkook whispered ever so quietly, not knowing why his eyes were lingering beneath him again.

He probably would have found himself pushing her away, but he couldn’t find the effort to. Haekyung looked tired. Besides, if she were to wake up at this moment, there’s no doubt that she might even freak out and give him a hard shove on the face. Huh, no thank you.

So he let things be.

“Looks like she’s out for the day. Aren’t you afraid of her waking up?”

“Not really. She’ll probably smack me even if we weren’t in this position.” Jungkook smiled.

Taehyung chuckled, folding his hands together to support the back of his head. He then neatly slipped the notes in between his book, looking out the window of the room. The lights beamed from the sun, setting over the horizon. Heading out for a quick break, he turned when he reached for the door to head downstairs. “Want something to drink? I gotta head over to the convenient store down the block.” Taehyung asked, looking over the screen of his phone.

“Sure. Iced tea would be nice. But did something come up?”

Taehyung quietly laughed to himself. “Yeah, apparently so. Yoongi and Jimin bought a couple of snacks and forgot their wallets. Seriously, those guys are so forgetful sometimes.”

“Why don’t they just run back to get it, then?”

“Because they already ate it.”

Jungkook scoffed knowingly, shaking his head at his friends. Dorks, indeed.

“And what should I get for Haekyung?”

“Just get her anything, as long as it’s food.” He grinned, careful not to wake her.

“Alright, I’ll be back in twenty.” Taehyung left the room, making his way down the stairs.

When the door closed, Jungkook resumed working on his sketch of the girl beside him. It wasn’t even five minutes until weird noises started to sound in the quiet room. Haekyung’s mouth was still slightly parted, her snores coming out uneven. One louder than the other.

Jungkook sighed, using one hand to close shut, but not before a small smile reappeared.

Mirroring her actions, he found himself leaning back. His head lightly resting over hers.

If he wasn’t completely agreeing with what he had in mind, his heart most definitely wouldn’t lie to him. Even when he wasn’t entirely sure as to what he was feeling right now. The boy had always been the one to conceal his emotions whenever he wanted to. But...

Somewhere along the path, it just happened.

“Why am I even attracted to a girl like you, Haekyung?”
