The One With The Deal

Chaerin's P.O.V

"Chaerin-ah, we're going to meet the Oh family this saturday, we're gonna introduce you to Sehun" my dad told me as he took a bite. We were having lunch at a restaurant. I don't have class today, so me and mom had a quality time together, walk in the branded store street, from store to store. Then we decided to meet up with dad at the restaurant to grab a lunch together.

"we want you to be engaged next saturday" my mom added.

"Huh? isn't that too fast?" i asked them wondering.

"no sweetheart, there's no use to delay the engagement. If it's faster then it's better, right honey?" my mom glanced to my dad.

"yes, we don't think it's too soon, moreover both of you will end up together" my dad agreed at what my mom just said.

"i don't know dad, mom, i'm just not sure yet about this" i stop my hand from slicing the steak.

"come on Chaerin-ah, don't you want your parents happy? and this will make a really good affect for both company, ours and Oh's company" my mom begged me.

"how about this, if you agree with this marriage then i'll give you permission to have your own clothing line now? and i'll provide all of it."

My eyes widened. I'm always dreaming to have my own clothing line, just like my mom. But dad never let me until i got my college degree, which means i have to wait. And now dad offering me to make my dream come true NOW? woah.

"umm.... let me think about it first" yes, i really need to think it first. isn't it worth it? giving up my teenage life? get married with someone i don't love?

I was lying on my bed, thinking about what my dad just offered. i think i need someone to talk to, to discuss about this.
