A few days after, Yoona can finally leave the hospital. Although the doctor said to her and everyone else that she should take care of herself and be careful next time. He also said to bring her quickly to the hospital if things will be out of hand.

Sooyoung carried Yoona to the latter’s room bridal style.

Although the doe-eyed protested at first, she just let it be when her brunette girlfriend let out a pout and begged her to just let her do what she wants in a cute manner.

“Soo, don’t you find me heavy?”

The brunette smiled at the girl in her arms.

“I carried you for how many times already and now you’re questioning me if you’re heavy?”

“Well, I have been eating a lot this year, and I think that I gained some weight.”

Sooyoung chuckled and gently placed the girl down on her bed.

She leaned in to place a kiss on the girl’s forehead before looking straight into her eyes.

“Heavy or not, whatever you will be, I’ll always accept you for who you are and love you deeply.”

A smile couldn’t help but reveal itself on Yoona’s face.

“I love you.”

“I love you more.”

On the other part of Korea, Jessica stepped out of Siwon’s car followed by Mr. And Mrs. Choi. They came home first when Sooyoung asked if she could go to Yoona’s first. When Jessica was about to enter the house, two figures ran out of the house and tackled her down.

“Yah! Do you really have to do that?”

Jessica glared at the two girls on top of her with worried looks upon their faces.

“Is Yoona unnie alright?” Sulli asked.

“Yeah, is she unnie?” Krystal seconded.

The blonde’s glare faded in an instant as she gave them a smile.

“Yes, she is.”

The two let out a collective sigh.

“Thank God!” They said in unison and got up from their position on top of Jessica. Both girls held out a hand which the blonde took against hers and helped her stand up. She say a little thank you before dusting herself off.

“Sulli! Krystal!” Siwon called out.

Both the girls’ attention snapped to him.

“Yes oppa?” Sulli answered.

“Would you help umma cook lunch? Appa is getting hungry.”

“Okay!”

Both girls said in unison with smiles on their faces before heading inside with Mr. and Mrs. Choi following them. The blonde watched them head inside before shaking her head a little. ‘These two really match each other well.’ She thought to herself.

She was about to take a step forward when Siwon placed a hand on her shoulder.

Jessica faced the man beside her and saw the sadness in his eyes.

“Does Sooyoung know about Yoona’s real illness?”

“No...She doesn’t.”

“...Oh...I see...”

Siwon removed his hand from Jessica’s shoulder and walked away from the blonde. And right before he entered the house, he looked back at Jessica to ask her another question.

“Does she want to keep this a secret to Soo?”

“Yes...”

The man let out a sigh.

“If that’s what she wants, then I have nothing against that.”

And with that, Siwon turned back around and entered the house.

Jessica then soon followed after.

A few hours before evening, Sooyoung called and said that she’ll be staying at Yoona’s for the night. Mr. and Mrs. Choi know that their daughter really needs this time alone with her girlfriend. But, it didn’t help the guilty feeling in their stomachs that their daughter is clueless about her girlfriend’s real health status.

Yoona is like a daughter to them. They love and care for her so much. After all the time that they spent with her, it’s hard for them to imagine the girl leaving. And it breaks their hearts so much.

Siwon plopped down himself on the bed and stared blankly at the ceiling above him.

He never knew that knowing the truth will have a great effect on him so much.

The girl is like a sister to him after all.

And knowing that the girl is slowly dying makes his heart break.

Not only for him and for everyone else, but most especially to his sister who will be greatly affected by this event.

The man let out a sigh and closes his eyes.

“I pray you’ll be alright Yoong.”

Sooyoung gently placed her cup of coffee down the table and looked up in the sky to see the stars shining brightly above them. It is already dark outside, and the gentle breeze that touches her skin brings shivers down her spine. The brunette slowly stood up from her seat and leaned back on the railings while her eyes are still fixated at the starry sky.

“You really love stars, don’t you?”

The brunette’s attention snapped away from the sky and diverted itself to the girl standing by the door with a smile gracing upon her face.

“Yes, because they remind me of you.”

“How?”

“It’s because you shine so brightly like them, and...”

“And?”

Yoona walked closer to the brunette and wrapped her arms around her neck while the latter immediately circled her arms around Yoona’s waist.

“And it’s because I know that wherever you might be, I know you’ll be watching over me just like the stars.” Sooyoung smiled and stole a kiss from the black-haired.

Yoona’s smile grew even wider.

“You’re really cheesy sometimes, you know that?”

“Yeah I know. But I only do such things whenever I’m with you.”

“How lucky I am then.” The black-haired giggled.

“Yes you are, because amongst the ocean of people here on Earth, Choi Sooyoung found you and fell in love with you, and only you.”

Yoona couldn’t help but be moved by her girlfriend’s words.

“Then, Choi Sooyoung is lucky too.”

“Why do you say so?”

“Because after all the times she asked Yoona out before, the girl finally said yes even though the girl finds her annoying and talkative.”

“Yah! I accept that I’m talkative but I’m not annoying.”

Sooyoung pouted which made Yoona kiss it away.

“But eventually, Yoona fell in love with Sooyoung because the brunette was the only one who broke down her walls and showed her that she’ll always be there by her side.”

The brunette put on a smile on her face while Yoona on the other hand buried her face on Sooyoung’s neck, inhaling the scent that she’ll miss once she is gone.

“I really missed you Yoong.” The brunette said in a hushed whisper.

“But we have been seeing each other every day.”

“Yeah, I know. But I miss having you this close to me. These past few days, all I could do is hold your hand and kiss you.  But now, I could finally have you in my arms.”

Yoona could only giggle at her girlfriend’s sweetness and wrap her arms tighter on the brunette’s neck like she is her lifeline.

“Aish, this lover girl really...”

“Well I love you so much, so it’s natural for me to miss you.”

“Aww...How sweet.”

Yoona pulled away a little to look at her girlfriend that has a wide smile upon her face.

“You know sometimes, I think that I should really be arrested because of my illegal doings.”

“Illegal doings?”

“Yup, loving you.”

Sooyoung winked which earned her a chuckle from the girl in her arms.

“No need to think of that, because you are already captured.”

The brunette stayed silent and looked at her girlfriend with wonder.

“You are already captured...by me...including your heart.”

Sooyoung couldn’t help but put a smile on her face.

“Look who’s cheesy now?” She teased.

The black-haired just shrug her shoulders and pulled away from the hug. She gently tugged the brunette’s hand and led her to the chair where Sooyoung sat earlier. The brunette got the idea and sat on it while pulling Yoona down to sit on her lap.

They looked at the stars shining brightly for them and prayed that this moment would never end.

They could stay like this forever in each other’s arms.

But they know that time can’t stop even for just a while.

“Yoong?”

“Hmm?”

“Never leave me, okay?”

Yoona looked away from the sky and faced Sooyoung who has a worried look on her eyes.

That worried look upon her eyes made Yoona’s heart ache.

Because she knows, eventually, she’ll have to leave her first and last love.

The doe-eyed stared at the brunette for a while before cupping her cheek.

“Promise, I won’t.”

The girl then leaned in and captured her girlfriend’s lips.
