The play finally ended but Kyuhyun and Hyukjae stayed since they decided to wait for the younger's bunny. The adorable gummy smile was still seen on Hyukjae that Kyuhyun couldn't help but feel proud.

The blond then turned to face him. "Thank you so much for this Kyu. Really, I've wanted to watch this with Hae but that fish doesn't have time these past days." He pouted when he remembered how he whined at Donghae who just gave him an apologetic look in return. The brunet was really having a hard time fixing his schedules since his major subjects were dropped to him like a bomb.

Kyuhyun smiled and patted his friend's fluffy hair. "No problem hyung besides, my bunny wanted to see you so bad."

"Hyukkie!!"

The two of them turned to the source of the voice and saw another blond with chubby cheeks, fox-like eyes and bunny teeth. He was waving excitedly and skipped his way towards them. Kyuhyun smiled widely as he opened his arms to welcome the new comer who ignored him all the way and hugged Hyukjae instead.

"Hyukkie! I miss you so much!"

"I miss you more Sungmin hyung~!"

Kyuhyun was obviously left alone with a pout on his lips.

 

"So," Sungmin started as he opened his left eye and looked at Hyukjae who was busily and generously removing his makeup. Apparently, the older blond was so excited to see his friend he didn't even fix himself before going out. The younger blond hummed in response.

"I heard from Kyu.." His voice trailed off as he saw Hyukjae sighed heavily he automatically whipped his head towards Kyuhyun.

The youngest among them shook his head nervously. "I only did what Heechul hyung told me to I swear!"

"It's not Kyu's fault it's just that- wait, Heechul hyung?" Hyukjae asked in pure confusion.

Sungmin squinted his eyes as he reached out only to whack Kyuhyun's head. "You and your loose mouth!" He hissed then turned to Hyukjae and motioned him to continue what he's doing.

"Heechul hyung called us several days after your news came out. It even reached my school but Kyu was fast enough to gossip it to me beforehand." Sungmin rolled his eyes when he remembered how Kyuhyun resembled a middle aged woman who loved to gossip about her neighbors.

"Then?"

"Then Heechul hyung asked us to do a favor for him." Kyuhyun continued instead.

"Then you made Donghae hate you so much. Minnie hyung, were you even aware of what Kyu did?" Hyukjae retorted at Kyuhyun then turned to Sungmin who sighed contentedly at his now makeup-free face.

The latter looked at him for a moment then nodded. "Of course. Kyu reports everything to me at the end of the day, no detail left out." He smiled sweetly at the youngest and Kyuhyun couldn't help but smile back.

Hyukjae smiled as he saw how the couple in front of him loves each other but somehow, he couldn't help but be envious of them. Kyuhyun and Sungmin started off as best friends until Kyuhyun finally got the courage to confess and, well, luckily Sungmin felt the same way. Ever since then, they were inseparable.

He sighed inwardly. He could only hope for a miracle on that.

"But.. why?"

Sungmin looked confusedly at the younger blond. "What 'why'?"

"Why would my brother ask you a favor which I'm not quite sure if that favor is to make Hae mad at Kyuhyun?" The blond asked all confused and curious at the same time.

"He just wanted to make sure of something." This time, it was Kyuhyun who answered. He looked at his friend's confused state and, remembering his encounter with the famous 'HaeHyuk', he won't wonder one bit why Heechul was that worried for his brother.

"We may or may not know what was really running inside your brother's crazy mind but," The youngest paused as he gave Hyukjae an assuring pat on the shoulder plus a warm smile that was rarely seen on his face (since you know, his smile was basically the 'evil smirk', if y'all know what I'm talking about). "Just trust him okay? He was never the one to act on impulse right?"

Hyukjae sighed as he eyed the lovers who gave him their smiles he couldn't help but smile back. What Kyuhyun said was true but, he can't help but be worried.
