Donghae woke up early with a bright smile on his face, stretched his arms in attempt of getting rid the sleepiness from his system and grabbed his phone from the nightstand. He slid his thumb unlocking the device and smiled widely when he saw his wallpaper of Hyukjae smiling widely beside him, their arms draped on each other's shoulders.

Since their reconciliation, Donghae felt their relationship grew a lot closer. And of course, his protectiveness even went stronger than before but hey, Hyukjae didn't complain at all. Surprisingly, he didn't find his relationship with Hyukjae awkward despite the fact that the blond was already out in the open. He smiled smugly when he remembered the defeated look on the guys around them when they saw him and Hyukjae walking side by side while chatting animatedly. He may be mean but he's just cautious for Hyukjae's sake. But then, he frowned when he remembered the giggles from the girls whenever he'll fetch Hyukjae from his class or whenever he'll feed the elder something during lunch.

He fixed himself faster than before, deciding that he'll drop by first to Leeteuk's cafe for coffee for him and his Hyukkie.

Bells chimed when he pushed the door open and saw Leeteuk preparing coffee while a tall man with brown curly hair stood by the counter, looking up the menu. He strode towards his cousin and beamed at him.

"Good morning Teukie hyung!"

Leeteuk turned to face him and gave him his dimpled smile. "Morning Hae. Your coffee's almost done." He said and faced the coffee machine once again. Donghae settled at the high stool and subtly observed the unknown guy. He was concentrating at the menu, obviously not knowing what to order.

The guy must be around his age, if not, then older. He has flawless white skin and handsome face. His nose was pointed and had pink lips. His brown eyes were staring intensely at the board in front of him but Donghae could clearly see the gentleness in him.

'Is he one of Hyukkie's type? Nah, I don't think so. I'd say he'll go for cute guys and not the matured ones.' He thought and decided to just help the other.

"If you want something hot I suggest Hazelnut Macchiato. Teukie hyung makes them the best." He offered with a smile catching the tall guy off-guard.

The guy cleared his throat and smiled awkwardly. "I was actually thinking of an iced latte." He answered with a shy smile and Donghae couldn't help but awe at the deepness of his voice plus the adorable smile that grazed his lips.

"Oh. Then you should try Iced Cinnamon Dolce Latte. It's one of mine and my best friend's favorite." The brunette suggested with a small smile and much to his glee, the other smiled back.

"I would like that one." He agreed just in time for Leeteuk to come back with two hot coffees in his hands. He placed them down in front of Donghae and smiled widely.

"I didn't put any name there since they're just the same. Say hi to Hyukkie for me okay?" Leeteuk reminded his cousin who nodded at him.

"Will do hyung. Oh and he wants an Iced Cinnamon Dolce Latte." Donghae said as he pointed at the sole customer. Leeteuk okay-ed with a smile and gestured the guy to take a seat while he started preparing it.

Donghae waved the two goodbyes and started walking out the cafe with a wide smile on his face.

Contrast to Donghae's good mood, Hyukjae slumped on his seat as he tiredly massaged his eyes where dark circles can be seen. Donghae entered his best friend's classroom with a skip but halted when he saw the blond's current state. He approached him and carefully placed the hot coffee in front of him.

"Hey what's with the long face?" Donghae inquired as he gently pried Hyukjae's hands from his eyes and replaced it with his own. He heard the blond gave out a contented sigh.

"It's nothing, really. Heechul hyung just called and bugged me all night." Hyukjae explained as he smiled tiredly when his eyes caught the coffee in front of him.

"White Chocolate Mocha with extra whipped cream and chocolate shavings on top?" He asked in a small voice with a hopeful gaze towards Donghae.

Donghae nodded. "Yep plus," He paused and pulled out a small box from his bag. "A small strawberry muffin for a whole day worth of my Hyukkie's beautiful gummy smile, by yours truly." He ended with his prince-like smile directed only to Hyukjae.

Hyukjae blushed deeply, his grumblings about Heechul long forgotten as he gave his best gummy smile towards his best friend. "Thanks Hae." He said in full gratitude as Donghae opened the box and handed him the muffin.

Donghae smiled widely knowing he somewhat made his Hyukkie's mood better. But, he couldn't shrug the feeling of being bothered by Heechul's sudden call. He won't call Hyukjae if it's not important. He finally stood up properly and ruffled the blond hair softly. "I better go now. Meet you later at lunch hmm?" He said and went out of the door while waving at Hyukjae.

Donghae stepped into the cafeteria just in time for the students to crowd inside. He stretched his neck and tiptoed, at the same time cursing his lack of height, to find Hyukjae. His lips stretched in a smile when he spotted that familiar blond hair but soon frowned when he noticed him talking to a brow
