Chapter 21

You keep on looking around the shop. The environment in the shop calms you a bit since the design is a bit similar to the coffee house that you used to work before. Suddenly you happened to remember the moment when you want to resign from that coffee house.

Last month

“ Good morning Mr. Kim, do you have a moment?” You barged into your manager’s office without a knock , well everyone is very close to him so that is kinda normal between all of your co-worker too.

“ Ouh, Guk-ah, please come in” He smiles towards you.

“ ja~ please be seated. I have to go through these files for a moment, mind to wait for a while?” You nod.

You use that moment to look around and give a deep sigh. Mr.Kim can sense that and after a while he asked, 

“ you want to quit this job isn’t it?”

“huh? How did you know?” it shocked you for a while.

“I have known you for years….so, what is your reason this time? Min Young?” head down is the only thing that you do now.

You know that Mr. Kim is one of the closest ‘old’ friends that you have. His ideas, thoughts and talks always inspired you and you know he knows your inner thoughts too.You shake your head. Wrong answer will bring misinterpretation to the whole situation. The relationship between you and Min Young is something that your co-workers know about. But they could also sense that both of you are not as close as before.

“Nope, I think I need to start do what I love. I love working here but you sure know my dreams isn’t it? I think, this is the time that I should start working on it.” You nod trying to convince yourself that what you do is the right decision to be done.”

“ yeah I know. Well, Himchan did tell me about that. That kid seriously annoyed me with his nag all day around , reminding me to keep on looking at you for him. Haish.”

“ ouh he did? Byane ~”  

Your manager is happened to be Himchan’s uncle. That is why Himchan loves to drop by to the coffee house. Mr.Kim only let others know him as a manager when he supposed to be as a CEO or what not.Their (Himchan’s and his) house also happened to be side by side. Kim’s family is surely a rich family. You can see that from all the things that they wear and what they are using in their daily live. But again … , they are all happened to be so humble and treat others like their wealth is not a big matter. That is why Kim’s family is one of respected family at your place. Sometimes, being a best friend to someone like Himchan make you feel uncomfortable but Himchan’s attitude is something that you respect off. He never show off and always treat you with his best. That is why, a lot of people are jealous of you but Himchan always remind you that these sort of people are someone that I should avoid on since they won’t bring any benefit to you. Out of all, Mr.Kim happened to be Min Young’s uncle too. So , that make you feel uncomfortable to work there anymore. Make sense? I don't know :3 *sigh

“ haha , not a problem at all. Well I am pretty get the whole picture about you from him. I mean, pertaining to the reason why you work here and what you want to be in the future. I don’t expect that the time for my best worker to leave is coming sooner.” He smirks and seated while putting his spectacles on the table. Thinking ….

“ wellllllll , I guess I don’t have a choice isn’t it? When did you plan to 'move' ?”

“ as soon as possible but , do you mind if I do it this at the end of this month?” Mr.Kim nods. " That will be better." He needs to re-arrange everything, so quitting at the end would make his work easier, that is what you thought. “okay, but I still need your black and white. It’s okay, I will handle the rest.” “ Thank you Mr.Kim” He gives you an ‘its-okay-‘ look.

After a month

“ have you seriously resign from that coffee shop?” You nod “ wae?” “ nothing”

Silent. The breeze from the ‘best place’ hit your face. “ so you are working at that studio? “

“ yeah , I want to grab all the chances to learn from them. As a beginner , I need to do everything from the basic things. But I am sure you know that I don’t mind isn’t it?” Himchan concurs.

You are now working with a music studio nearby to your house. Now that you have quite an enough pocket money to do what you love to do. Those people at the studio know you quite a while since you always drop by to look at what they always do. Hiring you wouldn’t be a big matter since you are very close to all of them already.

“ but still, I know you can’t lie to me Gukkie” “why?” “ that studio ….. it reminds you to ‘her’ isn’t it? Why you choose that studio out of all places at Korea?”  “ You want me to go far away from here?” You but Himchan is not smiling at all. You know that he is serious at this time. Deep sigh.

“ I …. think , I want to grab all the chances and at the same time I can take care of my family at the same time, even you know that this hurts me a lot”

The studio that you are working on is the first place where you and ‘her’ meet up. ‘Her’ lovely voice singing impressed you a lot. Now, ‘she’ is going far away to chase her dreams….but…………………..

A loud sound wakes you from the old memories to play in your head. You suddenly realize that everyone from the shop already went out to look on what is happening. “ What is that sound? Omg, it sounds like a big accident or something?” At the same time you can’t see anywhere on the presence of your dongsaeng. ‘ wait up, where is he?’ you look outside the shop and run quickly to where everyone is standing. The things that you have picked in the basket, you put it down at the floor. ‘It must be a serious matter since it is a big crowd’

“ SOMEONE PLEASE CALL THE POLICE AND AMBULANCE !!! HIS BLOOD ARE RUNNING OUT !!! “

You could hear someone shouting from the centre of attraction. You could hear people saying that the accident is with a car and a boy.

“ what a pity boy, he is still young” and other sounds around the crowds.

Your eyes are still looking for your brother. “ where is he?” At the same time, you tried your hard to reach a look for the victim. Usually you never bother about this sort of things, because there must be someone else who will take care about it but this accident , you don’t know why , but your heart say that you must have a look about it.

At last you managed to reach the second line from the centre. Suddenly, you can see someone that you know nearby. You can see that he is busy calling the ambulance and anxiously grabbing his phone at that moment…..your eyes widened…. “Youngjae?????” You shout and suddenly you saw someone beside that you surely can’t ignore but recognize her . “ what do you do with him???“ Your mind can’t brain anything about the accident but be mad about them instead. You still can’t see who the victim is since a lot of people engulfing him. You do all you might to release yourself from the crowd and you can see who the victim is…………………………….

Your eyes widen , your mouth is widely open and your world seems so dark when you saw a lot blood coming out from the head of the victim. Your tears are falling down your cheek which you can’t even realize how your face is at that moment. Everyone else is now focusing at you who is now shouting like crazy.

“ MOVE AWAY , LET GO OF HIM , DON’T YOU DARE TO TOUCH HIM !!!!!!!!!! “

You shouted to that woman. She cried. She is the one who sit beside the victim. She is trying to help since she knows the figure who is now lying down at the road with full of blood…but she knows that trying to argue at this moment won’t help to reduce the tension at all.

“YAH , IREONAAA ! WHAT ARE YOU PLAYINGGG AROUND AT THIS TIME? YAHHHHH “

You hold his head. Your hands are now full of blood. Your tears keep on coming down from your cheek.

“ IREONA YOU PABO YAH” .

Everyone seems to loesen their presence a bit after getting the advice from medical officers. The ambulance has arrived and you can see that Himchan and the rest are coming to the scene. Youngjae called for him. Himchan quickly come nearer and help the medical office to pick the victim up.

You are now sitting beside the victim without any sound which make everyone around seem to be worried since you were shouting like a crazy man just now. Himchan is the one who help with most of the rest there. The medical officers still trying their best to make the victim to make some moves or sound , letting them know that he is at least conscious. But nothing is heard from him.

Zelo is now crying loudly beside the victim and shouting

“ HYUNGGGGG !!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU? WHY ARE YOU SO CARELESS? YAH , DID YOU PUT A CHILLI SOUCE HERE? THAT IS NOT A BLOOD ISN’T IT? HYUNG IREONA , CAN’T YOU HEAR ME? JONGUP HYUNGGGGG !!!! “

Zelo who is out from his mind trying to shake Jongup’s body but everyone hold him who is now can even hurt people there. Himchan is the calmest person at that moment. He holds Zelo to help you who are now staring blindly at the road. The traffic is very busy right now since the accident happened at the middle of the main road. Police, ambulance and some other people from the crowd are still standing nearby to give their help. Worst thing is, the one who caused the accident has run away after he hit your dongsaeng , Jongup .

Himchan can even see his little sister standing beside Youngjae at the corner of the road. Now he knows what makes you to act like a crazy man even usually you are the most rational person in whatever situation. Himchan is looking for Daehyun’s figure so he looks around the crowd who is now letting the whole Bang’s family to be around. He just stares at Daehyun who is now standing not very far from Jongup , freezing , looking at the blood, without any word coming out from his noisy mouth. His eyes are now change to red color , full or tears that won’t coming out since Himchan knows that Daehyun’s hasn’t cry for years after the incident that happened to him in the past so it must be hard for him to cry at this moment.

Daehyun suddenly run towards Youngjae. His face changed when he saw that Min Young is standing beside him. Daehyun is now holding Youngjae’s shirt but Youngjae didn’t fight back.

“YAH , WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE WITH THAT ? YOU DO KNOW THAT SHE IS YONGGUK’S GIRLFRIEND ISN’T IT? WHY DID YOU DO THIS YOU PABO !!!”

Min Young is now trying to help for Daehyun to let his hand off from Youngjae but Daehyun stares at her angrily which makes her to step out quite a bit. Youngjae take a glance to Min Young’s action. He then move Daehyun’s hand from his shirt and smirk at Daehyun .

“ Yah Daehyun-ah , don’t you know who I am? Don’t you know who she is? Since when that she is Yongguk’s girlfriend? She is mine!”

Min Young can’t even stare at any of Bang’s family right now. Her true color has been painted out ! Zelo is already standing up , feeling the heat that his family is having now. The urge to smack Youngjae's face is obviusly seen from his face. The blood that is still on the road, firing his heart even more.

“ NOL ! NOL ! … “

Daehyun already put his fist right up to smack the face of that heartless guy but some hand stop him from doing so. Daehyun then turn around and can see your blank face which still staring at the floor with his hand holding Daehyun’s. Zelo also stop his paces.

“ Daehyun-ah , keumanhae . She’s not my girlfriend anymore.”

“ But … “

Everybody is now looking at you who just spoke an unexpected answer.

“kaja , let’s go to the hospital.” You pull Daehyun’s hand to bring him away from the couple . After a few steps , you stop. You then turn around and head up to your ‘ex’ .

“Thank you for all these while. I appreciate it but I don’t think continuing the relationship would be a good step to further on. I have thought about this. Let’s just break up and make things easier for both of us.”

You then take your steps to the ambulance. Min Young can’t lie that she is happy that your relationship ends a bit easier , but she can’t also lie that you happened to make her happy even once…. She looks at your sad figure and called for you…” oppa …, byane “. She cried for what she has been done to the whole Bang family.

You stop and talk from far, without even looking at her. “ please , don’t make things complicated for me. I have had enough. And don’t look for me again. Hope both of you will live happily after this”. Daehyun, Zelo , Himchan and you are now sitting in the ambulance.

Min Young cries heavily looking at the ambulance which is now leaving her behind. Breaking up is one thing , her true color was revealed is another thing. Worst thing is that , she can see that her brother, Himchan don’t even look at her for the whole scenes that happened just now. That…that , bring a bad sign to her…

“ How am I going to face my family oppa? How???? “ Youngjae is now convincing her that everything is going to be okay. Youngjae didn’t feel sorry for any of Bang family since hurting them would make him happier but he can’t show that side of him to Min Young since he loves that girl so much. He knows that it is hard to get Min Young’s attention so he still feels worried about her crying on the past relationship that just broke a moment ago.

“ kuenchana , we will go far away after this anyway. I will by your side “

“ far away? Where? “

“ UK “

Her sobs stop after a while .

Min Young smiles. Her tears are now stopping after her acting can be seen. “ You know that I was lying about the cries right? “ She gets up with Youngjae’s help.

“ yeah , but it sure still make me worried since it sounds so real.”

She guffaws herself and holds Youngjae’s hand happily. “ kaja “

Youngjae smiles and walk away from the scene with their heartless hearts. Who knows that they match each other so much that nobody can’t see their true color .

But they realized that Bang family isn’t somebody that they should play on since its only them who can see their true color perfectly when nobody else can.

I think I need to drag this a little bit further so that the ending will be a bit smoother
