A small pack of wolves known as Heliotrope claim a large territory within the forest and only the odd few outsiders are brave enough to enter, but when they do, their fate is sealed.

These four wolves don't take kindly to intruders.

A separate, equally small pack of wolves live right on the border of the feared area, safe from danger. They use Heliotrope as protection, staying close to the stronger packs territory so outsiders think that they are a part of the pack.

But they are separate packs, they don't run together, don't hunt together or even talk with one another.

They haven't met.

Heliotrope don't know about the other pack that are using their power as a source of protection against the harshness of the forest, using them to shield themselves away from the world around them.

That is until some members of the feared group get bored and go out searching, searching for what they have never had the pleasure of having before as members of a pack as small as Heliotrope.
