Chapter 8: Holiday trip part 1

Everyone was looking forward to the end of the week because they would have a holiday trip the following week. Everyone was excited about it and the class was already planning where to go.

The math class had already started and there was only one student missing: Lee Donghae. The teacher wasn’t surprised as Donghae was never on time for his class. 15 minutes after the class started, Donghae arrived and smiled at everyone.

“Mr. Lee you are late again” the teacher said

“Mianhaeyo, I fall asleep” he just said and sat down on the back on the classroom. The teacher just sighed and decided to stop what he was doing.

“Well guys now that all of you are here…” the teacher said “Have you decided where to go for the holiday?”

Everyone started whispering until Donghae raised his hand.

“Mr. Lee, any suggestions?” the teacher asked and he stood up

“My father is offering us our private island for the holiday” he said and everyone gasped surprised and started whispering again. Jessica’s eyes widened. She didn’t really like the idea.

“Seriously?” the teacher asked in disbelief and he nodded

“Of course” he said and everyone clapped and cheered suddenly

“Well then thank your father for us, Mr. Lee” the teacher said and he smirked

After classes, when Donghae was walking out of the classroom to go home, Siwon and Kyuhyun went to talk to him.

“Hae, what was the trip thing about?” Siwon asked him surprised

“Yes, you’ve never been so generous with our classmates” Kyuhyun said

“Just part of my plan” Donghae said smirking and they finally understood

“Now I see” Siwon said “This has Jessica’s name written all over it”

“You aren’t going to give up, are you?” Kyuhyun asked and he smiled again

“Of course not” he said “No one ever rejects Lee Donghae!”

“Then why are you inviting the entire class?” Siwon asked quiet annoyed with the idea. He didn’t like idea of being with some many people. Donghae sighed. Apparently he was as annoyed with the idea as Siwon was.

“It was my dad’s condition” he said annoyed “All the class or no one”

“Unfair” Kyuhyun said

“I know” Donghae said while doing something with his cellphone “But there’s a good thing about all this”

“What is it?” Siwon asked looking at Donghae

“I get to arrange the seats of the plane” he said and a smirk formed in his lips. Siwon and Kyuhyun smiled as well

“How?” Kyuhyun asked with curiosity

“My father is also lending us his private plane” he said “So… I get to arrange the seats”

“Cool” Kyu said excited “When are you going to do it?”

“I’m doing it right now” Donghae said and pointed his cellphone. Siwon and Kyuhyun got closer to see what he was doing.

When the guys saw the sitting arrangement, they smiled.

“Hyung, you are a genius” Kyuhyun praised him                          

“I know” Donghae said smiling evilly “We are sitting in the front so no one will bother us. And guess who will be sitting on the back of the plane…”

“Seeing your smile, I guess the new kid Nichkhun” Siwon said and Donghae’s smile widened

“You are really jealous” Kyuhyun teased and he sent him a death glare

“I’m not jealous!” he yelled

“Whatever you say” Siwon said sarcastically

“And who else are you sending to the back?” Kyuhyun asked

“Taecyeon, Yonghwa and Jaejoong” he said and the other two smiled “You can thank me later”

“So why Jaejoong?” Kyuhyun asked with curiosity

“It’s a favor for Leeteuk hyung” Donghae said “He’ll never admit it but I think he’s quiet jealous of that dude”

“I think this trip is not going to be that bad after all” Siwon said with a smirk on his face

“This trip will !” Jessica said throwing herself on her bed. “I can’t believe we are going to Donghae’s private island!”

“I never imagined he would be so generous” Seohyun said

“I don’t think he is being generous” Taeyeon said “I think he is doing it for some reason”

“Because he wants to piss off our ice princess, of course” Yoona said and Jessica sent her a death glare

“Why don’t you seem annoyed?” she asked her sisters “I mean, Siwon, Kyuhyun and Leeteuk are going to be there too.”

“Well I think they are not as bad as we think they are” Taeyeon said and the girls looked at her surprised

“Did I hear right?” Yoona asked surprised

“I thought you were the one that was most annoyed with those kingkas” Seohyun said surprised as well

“Well, maybe people change” Taeyeon said nervously

“Do you know something we don’t know Taengo?” Jessica asked and she immediately blushed

“Aniyo!” she denied nervously “Just saying”

“Well we don’t have to go if we don’t want to” Seohyun said shrugging

“I think not going is not an option” Yoona said

“C’mon girls, it can’t be that bad” Taeyeon said as she was the only one of the four that was excited with the trip.

(At the airport)

The girls arrived and were waiting for the rest of their classmates to join them.  After some minutes, Nichkhun and Taecyeon arrived. They smiled when they saw them.

“Hi girls” Nichkhun greeted them happily “You are early, wasn’t it difficult to wake Sica up?”

“YAH!” Jessica complained hitting his arm and he chuckled

“Hey girlfriend” Taecyeon said to Yoona and she looked embarrassed

“WHAT?!” Taeyeon and Jessica asked surprised and Taec laughed

“It’s a joke” he said laughing and they felt relieved “I’m Yoona’s fake boyfriend. I’m still your fake boyfriend right?”

“As long as Siwon is watching, you are” Seohyun answered and Yoona sent her a death glare

“Maknae you are not helping” she said and Seo just smiled

“Hi Taeyeon” a guy suddenly appeared from behind and startled them.  Seeing their reaction, he laughed. Beside him, another guy was walking towards them.

“Oh Jaejoong oppa you scared us!” Taeyeon complained

“Sorry” he said and smiled “Oh you know my cousin Yonghwa, don’t you?”

“Neh” they said

“Hi” he said smiling at them “Hi Seohyun”

“Hi oppa” she said. Her sisters looked at her suspiciously

“Are you guys excited about the trip?” Taeyeon asked

“Not really” they all replied

After some more minutes, all the students arrived and they were only waiting for the kingkas to arrive. Donghae was in charge of all the trip so they couldn’t leave without him. Half an hour later, they finally arrived. Donghae handed a paper with the seats’ arrangement and then lead them to the place where his plane was. It was huge and everyone was amazed.

“Wait, why do I have to sit in the back?!” Nichkhun complained

“Me too” Jaejoong said surprised

“How about you girls?” Taecyeon asked

“In the front” they replied

“I wonder who arranged the seats” Yonghwa said clueless

“I think I know who” Jessica said

The girls boarded the plane and sat on the seats that the paper said. They were surprised by the fact that they were not sitting together. Jessica was kind of annoyed because she knew it was Donghae who did it. She was so concentrated on her thoughts that she didn’t notice someone sat next to her.

“Look who’s here” he said giving her a smile. She looked at him and frowned

“Do you think I don’t know you were the one who arranged the seats?!” she asked annoyed

“Pff I didn’t” Donghae lied “It was destiny that wanted us together”

“Shut up” she said

“Admit it Sica, you are happy that I’m here” he said and she rolled her eyes

“Don’t call me Sica” she said coldly “Only my friends call me Sica”

“Sorry, my bad” he said smirking “As I’m your boyfriend I should call you honey”

“YAH!” she complained but she was blushed “I would never be your girlfriend!”

“You say that now” he said and smiled “If I can’t call you Sica then I’m calling you cucumber girl. That’s an exclusive nickname only for me”

Jessica sighed and just closed her eyes trying to ignore Donghae’s presence.

“You can close your eyes but I’ll be still here” he said

“How can I make you shut up?” she asked annoyed

“Easy, just kiss me” he said with a smirk on his face

Seohyun was reading her book while waiting for the plane to take off.  She didn’t notice that Kyuhyun had arrived and was on the seat next to her. As he noticed that she didn’t know he was there, he decided to surprise her.

“You read even if we are on a holiday trip?” Kyuhyun asked suddenly and that startled her. She almost threw the book and he laughed

“You scared me pabo!” she said and hit him with her book

“Ouch that hurt” he complained “That book has like a thousand of pages!”

“If it hurts then that’s good” she said and he smiled

“What are you reading?” he asked bugging her

“I would lend it to you but as your brain has the size of a pea, I don’t think you can understand it” she said and he was surprised. She was as innocent as he thought but he liked that.

“YAH! That was really mean” he said pretending to be offended

“If you stopped bothering me, I wouldn’t be mean to you” she said and continued reading

“I thought we already talked about it” he said

“Why are you here anyway?” she asked

“This is my seat” he said smirking and sat next to her. She was surprised to hear that but she knew it was all because of Donghae.

“Oh god” she said sighing “This trip is going to be really long…”

Taeyeon was having problems putting her luggage on the containers because they were too heavy and she wasn’t that tall.

“Need help with that?” someone asked and she felt embarrassed

“Sure” she said and he helped her put her luggage “Thank you”

“You are welcome” he said. When she turned around to go back to her seat, she was surprised to see that the guy that had helped her was Leeteuk.

“Oh hi” she said

“Hi” he replied “You are really short, you should eat more”

“YAH!” she said and he laughed. It was the first time she heard him laughing. His laugh was loud and weird but she liked it.

“Sorry” he said breathing “I know my laugh is kind of annoying”

“It is not” she replied and he smiled

 “Do you know who arranged the seats?” she asked suddenly to break the awkward atmosphere. She enjoyed his company, that was true but she didn’t know what to say.

“I think it was Donghae” Leeteuk replied

“Why would he do that?” Taeyeon asked. She understood that he wanted to sit with Jessica because he liked to annoy her but she didn’t understand why he would make her sit with Leeteuk.

“I don’t know” Leeteuk replied “But I’m thankful because you are the only girl of the school that I don’t find annoying”

Taeyeon was surprised with the compliment and smiled blushed.

Yoona was so bored that she was about to fall asleep. When she was about to close her eyes to take a rest, someone interrupted her.

“My deer!” he said and she looked at him annoyed

“Why do I have to find you everywhere, Choi Siwon?” she asked “First you are my lab partner and now my seatmate? Is this some kind of a joke?”

He laughed.

“It’s funny but no it’s not a joke” he replied “Do you believe in destiny?”

“Pff I only believe that you have a best friend that arranged the seats!” she said mad and he laughed again. Yoona closed her eyes and tried to sleep but Siwon kept bugging her.

“C’mon don’t ignore me” he said like a little kid that wanted to play

“CHOI SIWON LET ME SLEEP!” she yelled at him leaning to the window to be more comfortable

“You can sleep on my shoulder if you want” he said and she glared at him

“No” she just replied

“Your neck is going to hurt if you sleep like that” Siwon insited and smiled at her

“I’m fine!” she said

“Well if you change your mind, I’ll be here” he said and winked at her. She just rolled her eyes and tried to sleep.

The trip was going to be long so they had to put up with them.
