After another round of grueling promotion schedules, SHINee was given a short break to regain their energies and this was the first day ...   Onew, minho and jonghyun: (focused on the variety show airing on the TV) Key: (fiddling with his phone) Taemin: (looks at sherina beside him) Sherina: (also focused on the show)   *taemin's lips slowly curved into a smile as his hand carefully crept towards sherina's on the couch ... When their hands were about to touch ...   Key: (clears his throat loudly) EHEM!! Taemin: (flinches and quickly withdraws his hand - shoots key a whining glare) Key: (doesnt look at the maknae - smiles victoriously to himself while typing away on his phone)   *after a few seconds, taemin decided to try again ... Slowly and shakily, his hand slowly moved towards sherina's ... And when they were mere centimeters apart ...   Onew: taemin-ah!  Taemin: (flinches and withdraws his hand again) ... (Looks at onew) y-yes? Onew: pass me the chips, please ... Taemin: (shoulders deflate in relief) oh ... (Passes onew the bowl of chips) h-here ... Onew: (smiles) thanks! (Continues watching the show while munching on the snacks)   *this time ... Taemin waited for a few minutes before trying again ... SHINee's maknae wont give up that easily ... He'll sneak in a skinship moment here no matter what! ... And so, after looking around making sure that everyone was busy ... His moved his hand again ... Slowly .... Carefully ... Reaching towards sherina's hand ... He his lips as things were going smoothly so far ... Just a little more ... Just a liiiiiiiittle more ...     Sherina's phone: (rings) Taemin: (flinches and withdraws his hand) ... Aish!  Sherina: (gets her phone and reads the message) .... (Gasps) !!! SHINee: (looks at her) ?? Taemin: why? What message was that?  Sherina: (semi-shocked expression) .... M-my besfriend is in k-korea ... Key: your bestfriend? ... You mean shiko? Sherina: (gulps then nods) Onew: isnt that supposed to be good news? Sherina: (shifts uncomfortably in her seat and looks at taemin) Taemin: what? Why are you looking at me like that? Sherina: uhm i ... I kinda had to tell shiko about the b-bullying thing from before ... SHINee: (leans in to listen closely) ... And? Sherina: (looks at taemin again) ... And she kinda hates your guts to hell right now.... Taemin: (surprised) ?!!     *sherina put on a crooked smile when she and taemin arrived in front of sunaebo hand in hand .... With shiko standing outside, tapping her foot impatiently on the pavement .... Taemin unconsciously gulped down a lump in his throat ... This wasnt the first time he met shiko but it was heck the first time he met her looking so scary ...   Shiko: sherinaaaaaa~!!!! (Runs up to them and snatches sherina away, pulling her into a big bear hug) i missed you soooooo much! Gosh! Its been years! Taemin: (deflates upon feeling the warmth of sherina's hand disappear from his) Sherina: (struggling) i-i missed you too, s-shiko ... Ahhh!! I cant .... Cant breathe!! Shiko: (releases her and beams) its so good to see you! You've thinned a lot, geeez! Sherina: (smiles at her bestfriend) its good to see you too, shiko ... Uhm ... (Looks at taemin) Shiko: (looks toward taemin as well) Taemin: (awkwardly waves) h-hello ... I-its been a while ... Shiko: (purses her lips in distaste and faces sherina again) i wanna go out with you today, sherina (smiles) .... JUST THE TWO OF US (secretly eyes taemin) ... Just like before! (Smiles at sherina again) Sherina: b-but ... Taemin: uhhh ... I-its ok, sherina ... You can go with her (weak smile) you havent seen each other in so long ... I understand ... Sherina: but we were supposed to ... Taemin: no, no ... Its really okay ... We can just go on a date another day ... Shiko: thats settled, let's go! (Pulls sherina into the parked car by the side of the road and quickly tells her driver to drive off) Taemin: (watches helplessly as the car disappears into the distance) .... I couldnt even get a kiss goodbye ... (Sighs deeply and glumly trods back toward their dorms before someone spots him)    *for the whole day, sherina and shiko did nothing but hang out and have fun all around town ... Shopping, eating, touring and taking pictures everywhere ... They did so much that sherina wasnt able to notice that her phone had been ringing constantly with calls and texts from her boyfriend ....   Key: still no luck? Taemin: (sighs and hangs up on the nth failed call attempt) no ... Onew: maybe theyre just really catching up ... You know how girls are ... Taemin: its 9pm, hyung ... Sherina hasnt contacted me AT ALL today ... Do you know how depressing that is? (Pouts and slumps down on the couch) Jonghyun: (smirks) dont be the annoying, clingy boyfriend now ... Taemin: (whines) hyung! Key: what jonghyun hyung was TRYING to say (glares at jonghyun) ... Is that sherina and shiko are probably just busy with each other for now ... They havent hung out for years ... I'm sure sherina will call you once she gets home ... Ok? Minho: cheer up, maknae! Wanna play a round of soccer? (Gestures to the video game controller in his hand)  Taemin: not today, hyung ... (Sighs again and covers his face with a throw pillow)   *in shiko's hotel room ...   Sherina: (looking around) uwaaa ... I really forget that youre a chaebol sometimes, shiko ... This is just amazing! Shiko: (carelessly drops the multiple shopping bags on the couch) it is isnt it? (Smiles) i picked this penthouse suite for the kitchen and the view Sherina: pshhhh ... Rich diva ... Shiko: im not! Sherina: (laughs) Shiko: (laughs along)   *in contrast with key's words ... Sherina wasnt able to call taemin at all
