Any resemblance to anything is purely out of imagination and wishful thinking xDDD ***   Chapter 14: Losing Contact (Part 2)   *one evening ... in sunaebo ... sherina and the owner were in the kitchen ...   sherina: (setting the table for dinner) owner: (cooking - not looking at sherina) ... is this really ok? ... you know, keeping quite and all? sherina: hmmmm? ... what do you mean, grandma? owner: aigooo ... its been TWO days since you last talked and even SEEN your boyfriend! ... and from what i remember, you two haven't made up yet from your last fight ... sherina: (whimpers) grandma! ... i told you, we weren't fighting! ... it was a misunderstanding! owner: alright, fine fine fine ... but still! ... shouldn't you at least see each other after this long?! sherina: w-well ... w-we cant help it ... taemin has work (a bit sad) ... i-i cant just go and be a nuisance for him ... owner: he's your BOYFRIEND ... just how do you expect to last long together when you dont even see each other a lot? sherina: (continues with setting the table) i-i dont know ...   SHERINA'S INNER MONOLOGUE sherina: (sad face) ... it's not like we're aiming to last forever ... everything is just a contract between taemin and i ... that's why i cant just go and do whatever i want ... causing trouble and being a nuisance to him is something i NEVER want to do ... END OF MONOLOGUE   owner: (looks at sherina, shakes her head in disbelief then goes back to finishing her cooking) ...   *meanwhile, in SHINee's van ... the tired members were lounging around while waiting for them to arrive at their dorms ...   jonghyun: (texting) ... onew: (taking a nap) ... taemin: (texting)  key: ya, taemin ... (turns around to look at him) taemin: hmmm? (looks at key) key: have you contacted sherina yet? ...  taemin: awww hyung! ... there you go again! ... (whining) ... i told you already, didn't i? ... she has NO phone ... there's no other way i can contact her unless i go to the place she's staying in ... key: ya! ... i was just asking! ... besides! ... how can a person NOT have a cellphone nowadays? ... that's just weird! ... and the reason why i keep on reminding you is because you're NOT doing anything about it! ... didn't you two have a fight or something?! it's been two days, you know! ... do something,taemin! ... YOU'RE the boyfriend! ... sheeeesh! taemin: (ruffs up his hair) aish! ... alright! alright! fine! ... i didn't say that i WOULD'NT do anything in the first place! ... just ... i-its just that i cant get out of work ... its not my fault! ... why are you making this such a big deal?! key: YA! ... this brat!-- minho: (not looking at them) well then ... just make sure SHE understands that ... taemin: s-she does ... at least i think so ... (unsure) key: psh! ... how uncool ... and you call yourself a man ... (scoffs at taemin and goes back to his original position) taemin: (pouts) ... seriously, why are you making it a big deal?! (soft voice)   *back in sunaebo ... sherina and the owner were already seated at the dining table, eating dinner together ...    sherina: (staying quiet while eating) owner: (not looking at sherina) but i can see that you're sad, you know ... you want to see him too, dont you? ... sherina: h-huh? ... owner: ... when i go to the bathroom late at night, i see that your room lights are still on and when i check on you, you're fast asleep by the window ... you were actually waiting for them to return, right? ... but i always see that those boys come home long after you have drifted to sleep and then they leave long before you wake up the next day ... (calm voice)... sherina: a-ah ... oh m-my ... how embarassing ... you must think im a completely crazy-obsessed stalker now ... (sad) owner: people do even crazier stuff when they're in love, my dear (smiles) ... its obvious you're holding back ... the only question now is ... what is it that causes you to? sherina: h-holding back ... (doesn't further the conversation and just continues eating) ...   *soon enough, SHINee's van passed by the road in front of sunaebo ... but the sherina and the owner were busy tidying up the kitchen to notice ...   taemin: (looks out of the van window, toward the direction of sunaebo) onew: (whispers to taemin) ... why DONT you go and see her then?  taemin: (surprised - looks at onew) h-hyung ... (sighs and slumps back to his seat) ... i-i ... i cant ... we have practice at home and a 7-hour long filming tomorrow ... i-i'll just go when our schedules loosen up a bit ... (fake smile) onew: (nods) suit yourself ... but i already told you, didn't i? ... girls are delicate things ... taking care of them is hard and tiring but its more than worth it ... (suddenly giggles) ... but why take it from me?, i've no experience myself ... taemin, you have to decide things carefully from now on ... taemin: o-oh ...
