- "Hae Kyungie~ Spongebob is on!" You heard a loud, female voice coming from the other room.
- "I'm coming!!" Kikwang's brother quickly dashed out of the kitchen. After a second he was back with a sweat covering his chubby face "Noona~ Don't go without saying goodbye!" He warned you with furrowed eyebrows. You quickly nodded your head, while chuckling. Then he disappeared again.
- "So? Dare to explain?" You asked Kikwang with raised eyebrow. The boy blushed a little and smiled widely.
- "I don't have to lie that you are someone special to me" He started, while scratching the back of his head. You got red a little as well – it was a big compliment after all "When I've met you back in September – do you remember our first phone conversation?"
You nodded your head as a yes.
- "Then my little brother came and asked me about love and other things. He was sad, because he didn't have a girlfriend for his 7th birthday party. I told him that when he will grow older, then he will meet his soulmate. That's how it came out"
- "Is it all?" You asked, while furrowing your eyebrows. Kikwang nodded his head. I can't tell her everything. She would be hurt after what happened.
- "Why? You want to hear something more?" Kikwang asked with a wide smile. You smiled softly and sighed.
- "Thank you for your invitation-"
- "Wait!" He looked worried "You're not going to leave now, right? I'm sorry for this soulmate-thing, just forget about it"
- "No, calm down" You smiled at him "I'm not going anywhere" Kikwang chilled out "I just wanted to tell you that I came here, not only because you invited me here, but because I want to tell you something" You explained carefully. Kikwang looked at you thoughtfully, but after a moment, when he noticed something in your eyes, he shook his head. I knew it would happen, but I didn't expect... it's too soon...
- "I know what you want to tell me, but can't it just wait?" He asked with a hurtful expression "I just want to spend a day with you like we used to. Can you do it to me?" Nara, please... Even if it's the last time.
After a moment of consideration, you nodded your head slowly. He deserves way more than that...
- "It would be great" You smiled softly and Kikwang returned the smile. I'm such a bad person.. I'm sorry, Kikwang. I really am. I know that you don't want to hear it.. But I'm sorry.. All your feelings were reflected on your face, so Kikwang knew everything.
- "Nara, don't look at me like that. I feel really bad, you know?" He asked with a wide smile, but it wasn't the one, which you loved to see.
- "I'm sorry, Kikwang" You stated quietly. Kikwang smiled softly and then he furrowed his eyebrows.
- "Stop worrying! You will lose all your hair!" He warned, trying to sound as happy as he could. You really appreciated his efforts, so you ignored the stings of remorse and had fun with your amazing friend.
You stayed for dinner and talked with his parents as well. His mom was really kind, but you liked his father more. He was really easy going, funny and talkative. Hae Kyung was with you as well. He was really cute. He even asked you to feed him. Kikwang's family was really great to spend time with. He inherited his mother's beauty and his father's character. It was a really great match. After dinner, you offered your help with dishes. Kikwang's father was the one in charge, so it was really comfortable.
- "Are you always washing dishes, Mr. Lee?"
- "Very often – but it depends on the cook. If my wife cooks, then I will wash the dishes. Otherwise, it's inversely"
- "It's a really great idea!" You noticed, while drying clean plates.
- "I think the same~" He stated hilariously "Nara~ Can I ask you a question?"
- "Of course, Mr. Lee~"
- "I know that it's not my bussiness, but I'm a really inquisitive man"
- "Don't worry and go ahead~"
- "Are you perhaps, Kikwang's ex girlfriend?"
You stayed silent for a moment. You expected him to ask about it sooner or later, but honestly speaking – it was really weird to hear it for real.
- "So, you are" Kikwang's father commented and hummed unknown melody. You wanted to say something, but you just couldn't come up with anything. Noticing your bewilderment, his father chuckled really loudly "Young lady! You don't have to be so shy about it. I'm not going to scream at you for breaking up with him! I'm even more surprised that a girl like you was even interested in him in the first place!"
- "Mr. Lee, it's not like that~! Kikwang is really a good guy! He's perfect as a boyfriend and I couldn't wish for anything more from him, but.."
- "That's the case, right?" Mr. Lee hit the nail on the head. You stayed silent. He took it as a yes "I really understand you, Nara. He's really kind, selfless and sometimes even funny – but he's too good, right?"
- "It sounds weird, right?" You asked him without raising a gaze from the plates "He's so good, almost perfect, but I can't be with him. I look like a picky teenager, who doesn't know the worth of people beside them.."
- "Naaah~ I didn't mean it that way" Mr. Lee patted your shoulder comfortingly "But I really like you, you know?"
You looked at him with a puzzled expression. He smiled widely at you.
- "You really care about him – because you could stay with him, while not loving him. You chose the right way with a lot of spikes on the road. But it was the right choice to make, Nara"
You were really moved by his father's words. The tears appeared in your eyes, when you returned the smile to him.
- "Thank you, Mr. Lee"
- "Ahh~ I didn't do anything~ But I have a request!"
- "What exactly do you mean?"
- "You have to drop by sometimes and stay for dinner!"
You chuckled loudly and nodded your head as an agreement. He just smiled warmly and then returned to washing the dishes. You made a new friend that day.


- "Noona~! Don't gooooo~ It's too early~!" Hae Kyung protested, while watching you putting on your shoes.
- "It's late, Hae Kyunggie~" You stated and messed up his hair.
- "Noona! My hair is a prohibited area~! If I don't look good, then I won't find my soulmate!" Kikwang blushed lightly at the mention of that word "But it's not that late~ My bedtime story hasn't been on tv yet!"
- "I really have to go, Kyunggie~ It's already dark outside. My family will be worried about me" You explained to Kikwang's brother.
- "Noona~" Hae Kyung whined, but then his gaze runned towards his older brother "Hyung! Maybe it's your fault?! Did you say something wrong again?"
- "How is it my fault?" Kikwang asked dumbfounded. You chuckled happily and shook your head as a no.
- "It's not Kikwang's fault. I just have to go. We will see each other again~" You promised with a wide smile plastered on your face.
- "Promise?"
- "Promise!" You stated and then, the boy smiled really widely.
- "Tomorrow?!" He asked, while jumping up and down. That time, you were the one, who was dumbfounded.
- "Hae Kyung! Nara has her own life, you know?" Kikwang commented ironically. But his younger brother didn't mind anything.
- "Then she can share her life with me!"
Everyone in the house – except Kikwang – burst out laughing.
- "Is it a confession?" Kikwang's father asked his younger son. Hae Kyung didn't understand their reason for laughing, so he just nodded his head.
- "Noona~ Do you need a confession? I can get you one! It's not a problem!" He assured you with a deep conviction "Just come and play with me, okay?"
- "Okay~" You agreed and messed his hair up again. He puffed his cheeks as a protest, but still smiled widely at you.
- "You should learn from him, Kikwang" Mr. Lee stated with a chuckle. Kikwang blushed really hard.
- "Yeah, dad is right! You should learn from me!" Then he walked towards you and asked you to squat for a second. You did as told and then he gave you a kiss – on the lips! Kikwang stopped breathing for a second. You were shocked as well, but soon you chuckled happily "Thank you, noona~ Come again as soon as possible!" Then he waved his right hand at you.
