Only few people were walking on the street. Some cars passed by occasionally as well. Little drops of water were falling from the sky, which was turning into grey slowly from the black one. There were grey clouds, too. The world seemed sad and somehow colorless. You sighed and walked away from the window. The weather perfectly reflected your current mood. You approached your bed and sat at it – you didn't want to sleep at all. After a moment, you heard a knock on the door.
You averted your gaze towards them. The red hair appeared at your door.
- "Nara, you're not sleeping again?" Sunggyu asked with a worried expression "It's just 7 am" You smiled lightly and nodded your head.
- "Come inside" You said, while yawning. Your brother did as told. Then he closed the door and sat at your desk's chair "Nara, you can't do it" He stated softly, yet sternly.
- "What do you mean?" You raised an eyebrow.
He sighed and looked you in the eyes.
- "It has been three months already" Sunggyu stated. You had already known what he was talking about. You didn't say anything, because you didn't know what to tell him. As you stayed silent, Sunggyu only grew more irritated "Nara, he left. And he didn't come back. He didn't call or text you. Just how long are you going to wait?"
- "But I'm not doing anythi-"
- "No, you're wrong. You changed from that match's day. You became more timid and silent. You're not even going out anywhere."
- "Oppa, it's not like that, I am-"
- "Nara.." He interrupted again, so you stopped. He sighed and looked at you with a worry expression "I know that you like him. I've known it since we were kids" He admitted softly, while recalling the past "I know him as much as you do. I know he's a great guy inside and that he's really shy, so he acts like a jerk" Slowly, your eyes started to get watery for no reason "But Nara, you're holding onto him too much. I know that it sounds awfully cruel, but you seem to like him habitually. You met him as a kid and just enjoyed his company. You didn't love him then. But then, after few years, you immediately fell in love with him" The tears started leaving your small, brown eyes slowly, off and on. He was right. You didn't want to admit it to yourself, but he was right. You liked him for so many years, but you didn't love him as a kid.
Sunggyu stood up and then sat next to you.
- "Listen. I'm not here to make you cry, I just want to help you" He smiled weakly, while softly massaging your hands.
- "But oppa... it would be easier, if it was unrequited love - but it wasn't" You whispered, while looking at your hands, which were wet from your tears.
Sunggyu stopped massaging your hands and you felt that he was then looking at you.
- "What do you mean it wasn't?" He seemed to be confused. You wiped the tears away and looked him in the eyes.
- "Oppa... He kissed me" You confessed quietly. But it totally changed Sunggyu's expression. From the confused one, he showed a shocked one, then a slightly happy one and then an embarrassed one.
- "Wow... You didn't boast about it" He stammered out. You smiled softly and made a face at him.
- "But then he said goodbye and left"
Sunggyu made big eyes at you.
- "He ran away from you just after the kiss?!"
You chuckled lightly and nodded your head.
- "Whoah, he's a bigger coward, than I expected" Sunggyu stated and you just rolled your eyes "But he's a bad one! He only made it worse, because you can't forget him easily then. Aishhh, what a guy! Couldn't you choose a normal one?"
- "No, I couldn't" You stick out your tongue at him.
- "So, what are you going to do now? Wait?"
You sighed and just shrugged your shoulders.
- "I don't know. He has to come back eventually"
- "And what if he doesn't?"
- "I don't know. Either way, I hope he will come back anyway"
Sunggyu sighed.
- "Why can't you just accept Kikwang again? He's a good boy and definitely better than this stupid owl"
You stayed quiet for a moment to figure out an answer.
- "I don't know, oppa. It's just the feeling. I really like Kikwang, he treats me really nicely, but I can't hurt him like that. I can't be with him, while thinking about someone else. Even if I feel happiness, while being with him, I don't get those special feelings. Every time I see Kyungsoo, I feel butterflies in my stomach – for real! I don't feel my legs at all and my body temperature rises drastically. I have never felt something similar, while being with Kikwang. If it wasn't the case, Kikwang would win for sure! He's kind, romantic, open-minded, optimistic, funny, y, thoughtful and a lot of more. But those weird feelings, while meeting Kyungsoo just can't leave my mind and heart alone"
- "You're a lost case, sis" Sunggyu commented, after a moment of silence. You chuckled and he joined you, as well "Just promise me one thing, okay?"
- "It depends~ You have weird requests sometimes"
Sunggyu made a face at you, so you stayed quiet.
- "If Kyungsoo won't come back and you will feel like it's enough, please just accept Kikwang, okay? Love depends on two people. You don't have to love immediately. You can learn how to love the other person"
You looked at your brother. He was really worried about you, so you lightly nodded your head as an agreement.
- "Such a good girl" He messed up your hair a little. Just then, someone rang the doorbell "Speak of the devil, your ex-boyfriend is here, probably" Sunggyu stood up and went down to open the door. You rearranged your messy hair and went down as well. As expected, Kikwang was there.
- "Oh, hi Nara~ Good morning" He greeted you with a big smile. You returned the smile as well. Sunggyu just shook his head and started going towards the kitchen.
- "Wait 10 minutes and I will make a breakfast"
After he left, you took Kikwang to the living room.


- "What are you doing here so early? It's Saturday, anyway~"
The two of you sat at the couch. Kikwang smiled widely.
- "That's why I'm here, we have a whole day for ourselves!"
You sighed and looked at him.
- "I don't really want to go out anywhere"
- "That's why, I came here"
You looked at him with a confused expression.
- "Kikwang, it's going to rain soon"
- "That's not the problem" He said with a wide smile plastered on his face. You stayed silent and watched as he bent down towards the backpack, which was lying on the ground. You didn't notice it before. He took out few DVDs and some snacks "I'm well prepared. So, what do you think? Movie session today?"
You raised an eyebrow at first. For the past 3 months, Kikwang really took a great care of you. As always, he was walking you home. When you were absent from school, he was dropping by to lend you his notes. He was also often staying with you on his phone or computer. He didn't mind staying late into night. Sometimes, you felt guilty. But you knew that he wouldn't stop, even if you asked him to. He seemed really happy – and it really affected you. When Kikwang was beside you, you were forgetting about Kyungsoo. But you couldn't give him false hopes either.
- "Kikwang, I'm really thankful for you, but-"
- "Pst! No buts! The first part of your sentence is enough" He interrupted with a smile "You're welcome. And now, choose the first one to watch" He grinned happily. You just sighed and nodded your head. The two of you spent the whole day on watching movies. A scary one, two funny movies, a romantic one and even more. At some point of the day, Sunggyu joined, but he didn't stay long. It was a romantic one – so he wanted to leave the two of you alone. You really enjoyed the movie session with Kikwang. He wasn't just an ordinary friend – you liked him, really. But Kyungsoo still stayed in your head. You just couldn't throw him away. Kikwang knew it, so he didn't rush anything. He just enjoyed his free time with you.


- "Text me, when you will get home!" You asked the boy. He was just putting his shoes on.
- "Don't worry about me, sleepy head~" He messed up your hair with a wide smile. You frowned and instantly organized your hair.
