Jungah sat up and found a huge cow plushie sitting on the bedside table.

“What is this?” She blinked, Lay smiled.

“I think it came from Kris ge, mei.”

“He passed by?” Her eyes widened slightly.

“I don’t know, I just saw that outside.” He shrugged, Jungah’s lips pursed and she nodded.

Jungah grunted and eyed her doctor warily. She was holding onto the steel railing that was mounted on the wall. It had been four days on her therapy, and she could already walk with a slight limp.

“Doc, please…I’m tired.” She goaned.

Doctor Song smiled.

“We need to do this to check on your progress Jungah.”

She sighed and started to walk again while leaning on the railings.

“Seriously, in a few days’ time I can drive again then I might-”

“What kind of patient refuses to receive therapy?” A deep voice asked. Jungah didn’t even look up, she knew the voice well.

“You’re alive?” She asked. Kris chuckled and bowed to the doctor politely.

“I’ll send her back to her room.” Kris said to the doctor.

“Is that a way to greet someone who’s visiting you?” Kris asked as the doctor left. Jungah looked up and grinned.

“Thanks for the plushie, Li Jiaheng.”

Kris smiled and pushed the wheelchair towards her.

“Come on.” He said, Jungah  made  a face as she let Kris help her sit down.

“What made you decided to finally show your face?” She asked.

“Maybe it was because, it got too peaceful while doing the project. Glad to see you up and about, though, Feilin.”

Jungah smiled as he started to push.

“How’s the project going? I’m not getting anything from Luhan.” She asked.

“Everything’s going fine, your brother’s right, you should rest.”

“Rest is for the weak.”

“You’re just suicidal.” Kris replied, then Jungah blinked.

“Why here?” She asked as she noticed that they were heading towards the hospital’s sky garden.

“Never got sick of your room?” Kris asked.

Jungah grunted then Kris stopped right in front of one of the benches, then he sat down.

“So, why here?” She asked again.

Kris just shrugged.

“How are you feeling?” He asked.

“Alive.”

“Hallelujah to that, Jungah.”

“I can walk again, what else do you want?”

Kris smiled.

“And, thanks for that big plushie, Wu Yifan, though you might have just shown your face when dropped by.”

“You were…busy that time.”

“Busy being fussed over by Luhan?”

“He’s just trying to make it up to you, Jungah.”

“I know.” She looked away.

“Anyway, at least you kept your promise.” Kris started.

“What promise?”

“You got well.”

Jungah nodded, then she smiled.

“Finally, I thought someone kidnapped you.” Lay walked up to them, Kris stood up.

“Actually, Yixing, I think I should be discharged already, I don’t see the point-”

“Just do the therapy.” Kris glanced at her, Jungah pursed her lips and looked away. Lay chuckled and began to push her towards the doors.

“Thanks for that, ge. It’s hard to placate her.”

“Still here, you know.” Jungah said dryly.

“I need to go, see you around.” Kris squeezed her shoulder and left.

Luhan stepped in the room and found his sister alone, reading.

“Mei?”

Jungah looked up and set her book aside.

“How was work?” She asked.

“Still the same, have you eaten?”

“Yes.”

Luhan smiled and sat beside her.

Jungah’s brows furrowed.

“What is it?” Luhan glanced at her.

“Will….you tell me what really happened between you, Kris and Haera?”
