The concert started off with a bang! The crowd was cheering and everyone was singing along to the melody of selected songs from SM for the intro. The stage went smoothly, and currently the Choi/Jung unit was doing their routine. Jessica, Sooyoung, and Krystal were in a triangle position with Minho as the star dancer in the center. The audience went crazy for the Choi's dance duet, and they went absolutely nuts when the Jungs started singing. After a powerful ending, the whole atmosphere was extremely high. 

"I hope you guys are having a great time!" Sooyoung said with her ever so improving English.

"We can't wait to introduce the newbie of Super Junior to you guys!" Minho said.

"And we're going to go before my sister ruins the atmosphere, so, here's Taeyeon and Kyusun everybody!" Krystal quickly grabbed Jessica out of there and they exited the stage.

Sooyoung approached the danshins. "The atmosphere is great out there! Good luck! Hwaiting!" 

Sunny swallowed. She was nervous yet anxious to perform. The stage felt familiar to her, and she liked it. She couldn't help but feel like something was wrong though.

Taeyeon elevated onto the stage from the floor. Her outfit was the epitome of iness... suiting for the byuntae herself. She strutted to the front of the stage and opened with a high note. The crowd went freaking wild. They chanted "KIM TAEYEON" for every beat, and she teased and headed to the back of the stage, then turning around to face the crowd again. Kyusun appeared from behind, and they started their duet and dance.  The crowd gave positive feedback to Kyusun, most screaming, "YOU'RE HOT" or just basically spazzing for the couple on stage. 

Still, Sunny couldn't help but feel as if something was wrong.

A minute passed, everything still running smoothly.

Sunny still felt nervous... something was gravely wrong. 

She looked to her right, but Taeyeon was still there. She smiled. A smile that she hadn't seen in a while since she yelled at her. 

Sunny smiled back, and turned away.

The stage out, then after a few seconds.

Screams could be heard from the audience... not of excitement, but of fear. Sunny heard Taeyeon's scream, quickly getting farther and farther away.  She turned again as fast as lightning towards the area Taeyeon should have been. A few big guys were man-handling her, progressing well in getting Taeyeon off the stage.

Sunny didn't think. She just acted. Two big men against one flower boy... not a good matchup, but Sunny didn't care. She needed to protect Taeyeon. Where the hell is security?! 

Sunny bolted towards the middle of the stage where the tusle was. She jumped, kicking one of the guys off of Taeyeon through a swift hit to the chest. 

Not again... not again... they're going to take me away again... and no one's going to help me... Taeyeon felt the stress on her arm loosen. Wha-

Taeyeon's eyes met Sunny's. She saw a sort of determination in her eyes, making Taeyeon a tiny bit more relaxed- but... the next thing she knew, a fist contacted with the beautiful kind eyes she just saw. Taeyeon screamed. "KYUSUN!" She struggled as much as she could, but it was no use. Another man joined on stage and grabbed Taeyeon's other arm, swiftly moving off stage. "KYUSUN!!!!!!" She watched as the second man continued to pumble Sunny, hitting her stomach, face, and legs. 

The sound of her voice brought her back to consciousness. Sunny coughed, spitting blood on the stage. She grabbed the leg of her oppressor. 

"You kid, just give up. We have Taeyeon now. The boss has been planning this for years. You're just about half dead. It's over."

Sunny looked up, and quickly pulled his leg down, causing the man to hit his head on the solid floor of the stage. "The bigger they are the harder they fall." Sunny spat in his face, and turned to see Taeyeon almost off stage. She bolted again, now having to face two guys at once. Here we go.

Taeyeon saw Sunny coming towards her. Oh my gosh... h-he's all beaten up... Tears formed in her eyes. The shock went away and reality had checked in-She and Sunny were both in danger now.

Sunny, still having her flexiblity even as a guy, gave a swift ax kick to thug #1, hitting him in the head. He was big, so he was only fazed a bit. This baldy is going to be a tough obstacle... Thug #2, as Sunny quickly named Handlebars (due to his mustache), grabbed her from behind and threw her to the ground. Startled and wounded, Sunny froze, giving Baldy enough time to pin her down and give several punches to her jaw. Each impact was slow yet strong, and you could hear each pop. Taeyeon's tears rolled. "STOP IT! Please, stop hitting him!" She sobbed uncontrollably, and her tears spilled onto the stage. "Stop it... you're going to kill him..." Baldy looked over at Taeyeon. She was a bit battered, but had no cuts or bruises. She looked like a wreck though. This gave enough time for Sunny to compose herself and knock the thug off, shutting down his consciousness with a hard kick to the temple. 

"You..." Sunny spat her blood on the stage, "Let go of her... or you'll be sorry..."

Handlebars laughed. "Psh, what could a shorty like you do?"

"Don't you ever call me a shorty... and don't you ever touch Taeyeon... she's mine!"

M-mine?!

Sunny took her microphone from her back pocket. "Get. Your. Filthy. Hands. Off. My. Girl!"

Sunny snapped. She went crazy. She caught Handlebars off guard and hit him with the blunt end fo the mic. She kicked the thug off of Taeyeon and hugged her tight. Taeyeon was just glad that Sunny was still alive.

More and more thugs started pouring onto the stage. 

Crap.

"T-taeyeon, I have to get you out of here," Sunny said. Someone tapped her shoulder. 

"K-Kyusun-ssi, let us handle this," spoke an unfamiliar face. "The SONEs, ELFs, Aff(x)tions, Jumping BoAs, Shawols, and EXOTICs got your back. I'm sorry we didn't do this sooner. There's thousands of people here... we've got this. Thank you for taking care of Taeyeon-ssi. Now get out of here fast!" The fan disappeared into the chaos. Sunny was touched by all the fan bases. They were wonderful... some of the most caring people in the world. Sunny's grip on Taeyeon's hand tightened. "Let's get out of here now!"

The fans navigated the two out of the building. They made a pathway for them to follow. Sunny grabbed her backpack she left in the waiting room and the two ran out. As soon as they exited though, Sunny collapsed.

"Kyusun!" Taeyeon screamed. She tried helping her up, but Sunny was exhausted. Sunny looked up at Taeyeon. "I won't let you get hurt..." She pulled herself up regardless. "We need... to get back... to the hotel."

"What about everyone else?"

"I'm sure they'll be okay... We can't risk going back inside the chaos... the police is on their way. I heard a fan make a call."

Taeyeon didn't say a word. She just cried.

"Taeyeon... don't cry, everything will be alright."

"I-I just f-feel that this is a-all my fault..."

"No, no! It's alright... it's probably that same scum bag that tried to get you last time... the police is going to get him, and with me around, no one will hurt you ever again."

"Y-you knew about that?"

"I just remembered..." Sunny opened her backpack, "Anyway, put this on..." Sunny wrapped a red scarf on Taeyeon's neck that covered her face. 

Taeyeon could feel the warmth and love radiating from the scarf. "T-thank you..."

"No problem... let's go."

"What about you?"

"I'm fine..." Taeyeon took notice of all of Sunny's bleeding wounds.

"You're still bleeding..." Taeyeon reached into Sunny's backpack, pulling out a little first aid kit.

"I'm okay, let's hurry to the hotel."

"No." Taeyeon dressed Sunny's wounds. "Now we can go."

"Aish, so stubborn."

"I want you to be safe..." Sunny grabbed Taeyeon's hand. 

"C'mon. Let's hurry."

Taeyeon gave Sunny one last look over. I can't believe he did this... for me.
