Traitors
Two Moons And A WerewolfBack home, you suddenly jumped when Kai appeared for the first time. Yonnguk stood and helped him support Xiumin who was bleeding.
Lay kneeled as he was lowered on the couched and then removed his clothings. “What happened?”
“I dunno…” Kai panted. “It just came out of nowhere.”
“Huh???” the healer was left confused.
“Hyung! Just treat him, okay? I gotta go!” Kai disappeared.
You helped Lay as much as you can while Yongguk paced back and forth. “I don’t have a good feeling about this…”
“Bang! Will you stop? You’re scaring the out of me! Aish!” you scowled.
Xiumin gradually fell to sleep and out of harm’s way. Yongguk transferred him to Exo-M’s room, and just as he stepped back into the living room. Kai reappeared with DO and Chanyeol completely knocked out and quickly losing large amount of blood.
“Jesus Christ! What the happened?” his mouth fell afterwards.
Kai panted as if he just came from a marathon. “We don’t know either!” he wheezed. “They just came straight at us, and they exactly know where we are hiding!”
You and Lay were too caught up tending the injured to even join the conversation.
Yongguk on the other hand who have years of combat against werewolves lit a bulb in his head. “It’s Minho and Taemin! !!!” he sneered. “How could I not have seen it?”
“Hyung! What do you mean?” Kai breathed.
“Those two mother ers betrayed us! Goddamnit! For what reason? I don’t give a single !” he raged and now has that look of resentment. ‘They messed with the wrong kind! I’m gonna make you pay you sneaky piece of !’
“Wait! Hold up! How do you know?” Kai asked.
“Look bro! Who in the world knows your exact locations? Who were the people present during those times when we planned everything?” Yongguk explained in fury. “We literally spoon fed that conniving son of a !”
You then noticed him grab a jacket. “Bang! Where are you going?”
“I’ve got some business to settle! You stay here, understand?” he threatened.
“Huh???” his burning eyes alone scared you. “N-Neehhh…”
“Kai! Let’s go!” Yongguk held his shoulder and they disappeared.
Just like Xiumin, DO and Chanyeol were battered with scratches and fractured bones but Lay’s healing powers and Youngjae’s potions helped ease their pain.
“This is so messed up!” Lay sighed and left defeated sitting on the floor. “How can Minho and Taemin do this to us?”
“I don’t know what to think anymore, Lay…” you held his hand. “I just hope no one gets hurt…”
Next thing you know, Kai came back once again. This time, he brought along two people who can drive you mad when hurt. “S-Suho? S-Sehun???”
Lay stood right away, helping Kai. You covered your gaping mouth at the sight of them barely breathing. Your brother had a bite mark on his leg, ripped clothing from claw scratches, and swollen face from hits. Your husband appeared intact but blood leaked like a waterfall from a huge bite on his shoulder.
“S-Suho-ah…” your heart froze and your stomach turned icy as Lay frantically worked on them. Kai also took a seat to catch a breath.
You closed your eyes, turning back around. ‘Breathe Sehee… Breathe…’
You came to realize that your family is at risk of dying in a fight you're no longer sure if they'll win. The injustice of it all suddenly makes you murderously enraged. ‘Draco-ah… TenTen… Forgive me but I have to do this. I have to protect your daddies.’
That alone gave you a boost of confidence, bravery, and courage. You’ve always risked yourself for the benefit of everyone around you, and tonight is never an exception. There’s that same spirit you had while facing Yongguk’s father and that same tenacity you took while fighting with Kyuhyun. ‘It’s all or nothing… You got this, Sehee! You always do!’
“Hyung! I’ll go now!” Kai stood.
“Neh! Stay safe!” Lay replied.
Kai reappeared in the forest which is now chaotic like a battlefield. Thunderous shouts rang from every direction, numerous lightning kept coming from the sky. Jets of white light cut through the trees and faint howls of dying wolves lingered in the air.
When Kai moved a single step, he felt a tug on his jacket so he turned.
His eyes widened in shock and utter disbelief. “What the , Sehee? What are you doing here?”
“Hi!” you grinned.
“This is not a joke! Are you crazy?” he gripped your wrist. “I’m taking you back home!”
“Do it and I won’t let you near my sister!” you pointed a finger.
“Excuse me? How dare you negotiate with me?” his jaw dropped.
“Because I can! And may I remind you that I’m the best when it comes to that part!” you raised an eyebrow.
A nearby bamboo suddenly snapped, falling towards you.
“Watch out!” Kai grabbed your body and both of you rolled to the side. “See? This is why you’re not supposed to be here! Damn it!”
You pushed against his chest and dusted your hoodie. “Look! I’m here already! Might as well do something about the situation! I can’t stay home and do nothing, Kai! It’s killing me! Please… Let me help!”
“You do realize that the hyungs will kill me for this…” he sighed.
“Don’t worry! I got your back!” you winked, and tapped his shoulder. “Remember the tree where Bang and I sat?” he nodded. “Take me there!”
“Urrgghhhh! You’re killing me, Sehee!” he raged.
“Just do it!” you slapped his head.
“Fine…” he rolled his eyes. “I don’t know what you’re thinking but you’re one crazy girl who has a twisted mind! Pft!”
“Of course! Just wait and see what this girl can do!” you smirked.
