All the people in the salon tend to looked at the shocked person who opened the door. It’s Yoona…

 

“Oh, Yoona-shi, annyeong!”-Yonghwa greeted her

Yoona seemed not to hear Yonghwa and was stunned for a moment. Yonghwa just shook his head as she saw her looking at the direction of the guy beside him. And when he looked at the guy beside him…

 

“Is it fate? I just brought you home this morning and now you are here in front of me. Does it mean I will really meet you every day? Oh no, my heart again… ”

Jonghyun was gazing in his own world looking at the same direction of the girl in the door. His heart is beating so fast with the unexpected scene.

 

“Yoona-yah, come on go inside. Why are you staying at the door?...” –Taeyeon push Yoona slight to go inside

“Annyeong Yonghwa-shi, Jonghyun-shi…” Taeyeon greet upon seeing the 2 guys inside.

One by one the girls came inside and greeted them and finally Yoona. After greeting them, Yoona and Seohyun went to the staffs to start their turn… or to prevent them from any awkward moments again.

 

“This is unexpected guys, do you often come here?” –Jessica

“Just sometimes when we have free time. The owner is one of our childhood friends back in Busan. This is his very first business and he is kind of bragging to us how successful his first month and even his talking about you girls, that you always come here.” -Yonghwa

“We didn’t expect to see you also here. We just went here to pick him up and have to go somewhere. We wanted to stay outside but he insists for us to wait for him inside the salon and all the staffs are very friendly here. I think they are already used to many artists especially you guys.” Yonghwa continued

“Oh, I see…” –Jessica

 

As some of them are having conversation with the two guys, Yuri can’t help but giggle by what she is observing. Jonghyun is just silent beside his hyung while stealing glances to Yoona. Actually not only Jonghyun, but Yoona as well.

“Aigoo, these two…” –she mumbles to herself

 

Suddenly Jonghyun place his hand on Yonghwa’s back and started to write something in his back using his fingers.

Yonghwa was confused with what Jonghyun was doing and writing on his back and finally he got what he meant...

 

“Oh, I remember... Anyway guys we are having a small picnic tomorrow night at the park. I guess it’s very near to your place ‘coz it’s along the road through your dorm. If you will be available then by tomorrow, you can join us. We will just eat there, bring our guitars and sing. You know, for some bonding and relaxation.”

Jonghyun smiled at him.

 

“Girls, do you have any schedule tomorrow evening?” –Taeyeon asked them

“I believe Yoona unnie has.” -Seohyun said and Jonghyun’s face reaction changed

“I have a CF Shooting at the park also. I guess it will be finished around 7pm. You guys go ahead…” -Yoona said and Jonghyun’s face was a bit sad now when…

 

“I will just follow you guys after the shooting then…” –Yoona continued

 

“Oh, okay, so it’s settled then. All of us can join. We will be having our very first picnic with CNBLUE. We will just prepare something to bring as well.” –Taeyeon

 

“That’s great!” –Yonghwa finally said

And he smiled back at Jonghyun who's expression is now unexplainable.

 

 

Yoona’s phone suddenly rings…

“Yoboseyo. Oppa, how are you doing? How’s your birthday celebration with your family?”

 

They started their conversation over the phone.

The owner of the salon finally called them and had arrived at the parking area. The two guys bid their goodbye to the ladies.

 

 

 

 

JONGHYUN POV

 

As they are walking to the parking area..

 

I was not even able to talk to her or even greet her personally. I guess he is speaking with kyuhyung hyung on the phone.

 

“Well, I guess see you again tomorrow then… my princess” –I whispered to myself smiling but unfortunately Yonghwa hyung was walking near and heard me

“Geez! Someone’s in love… Why don’t you make your first move Jonghyunnie, I bet Yoona-shi likes you also.” He said

 

“Nyah! You shocked me Hyung. why all of a sudden you will just barge on my side. And It’s not that easy Hyung. Remember she’s not just a simple, ordinary lady. She’s IM YOONA. The ideal girl of almost half the population around the world.” I answered him

 

“Look, Jongie. Don’t look down at yourself. Think of the positive side always. You are handsome, smart, you can even protect her ‘coz you are a champion of Judo and Taekwondo, you are great in singing, especially when you play your guitars it can do melt a million’s heart. Not only that, just when you smile and show your dimples I bet every girl will faint in front of you including Yoona.” -hyung stated

 

“Hyung, you are really my best friend. That’s why I love you...” and then I hugged him

“Geez! Jongie don’t hug me like that. People will think different with us. Just wait for your chance to hug Yoona for real.”

 

 “Yah. I’m just appreciating your help. As if you are not used to me hugging you all. Anyway why don’t you make your move with Seohyun also, I see you’re getting closer to her this time, you are even lucky to dance with her yesterday.” –I was able to back

“Wish you all the best bro. Just be yourself. You don’t need to be rushing though just get to know each other first. Be close friends; go get her phone number even.” –Yonghwa

YOONA POV

 

That was unexpected meeting again. We are just talking about him then suddenly he’s in front of me. Gosh, what is happening? And my heart is going crazy to see him right now. I decided to go to the staffs and have my turn. Seohyun followed me maybe she wants to avoid the teasing of the Unnies again and become awkward in front of the guys.

 

"Kekeke… Seohyunnie. I guess we are in the same situation now." I whispered to myself

"And guess what? We will be having a picnic with them by tomorrow evening. Gosh! What an overwhelming heart you have IM YOONA!"

 

"Everyone agreed to join them and we’ll going to prepare something. Ah! I need to check what’s his favorite food and cook it for him."

“Im Yoona, you are so daebak!”  continued with my own world

 

I was just stealing glances at the quiet guy beside Yonghwa-shi. I can’t help but look at him from time to time, his dimples appearing when he smiles as they were discussing about the picnic.

Then suddenly my phone rang… It’s Kyu Oppa…

 

“Yoboseyo. Oppa, how are you doing? How’s your birthday celebration with your family?”

 

“It’s great Yoong! I miss them so much. I am very happy. This is the best birthday celebration I’ve ever experienced.”

 

“Really, Uhm why did you suddenly called? I thought you are having your quality time with your family.”

 

“Uhm, well I just think there is one last thing I missed to do to complete my special day…”

“Can you accompany me tonight then Yoong? I’ll pick you up in your dorm @6pm. Just wear your comfortable clothes arasso?”

KYUHYUN POV

 

I was having my great time with my family when suddenly an idea popped in my mind. I really wanted so much to spend my birthday with the children in the orphanage and the first and last person I thought to accompany me is of course, my best friend Yoona. I called her and she agreed to go with me. But she doesn’t have any idea where we are going then. It’s a surprise for her…

 

6:00PM

While waiting for Yoona at the parking area…

 

“Yah, IM YOONA. What are you doing exactly? What taking you so much time, we have to be hurry. Don’t waste my precious time…” I told her over the phone

 

“Ás if you are not wasting your time over your games oppa…” –she answered me

“Yah! You weirdo girl, I swear you will pay me for letting me wait too long.”

 

“Haisst! I told you to wait here inside so that you will not get bored. Anyway, I’m coming Oppa, I just check my stuffs in the bag so that I won’t forget my valuables you know. And don’t worry, I will treat you your favorite ice cream later… Kekeke...”

And finally she arrived…

I started driving to our destination without her awareness where exactly we will go.

 

“Oppa, where are we going?”

YOONA POV

 

We arrived on our destination and I was really, really surprised knowing the place. It’s an orphanage and we are going to celebrate the special day of my best friend with the children here in this special place.

 

“Oppa, you are amazing!”

“See, I’m sure you will love it!”

“I love it so much oppa, thanks for bringing me here. Come on let’s hurry up, I’m so excited...” as I pull kyu oppa on his arms

 

“Wait Yoong, just walk slowly, we are not in a marathon competition. Don’t waste your energy. You will have special participation later.”

 

“What did you say?”

“Oh, nothing. I just said walk slowly so that you will not get tired later”

 

“Oh it’s fine oppa. I had saved lots of energy for you today .”

As we went inside, 2 ladies assist us on our way to the room wherein the children are waiting for us.

Slowly they open the door and we were surprised to see children handling a huge banner where written:

 

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYUHYUN OPPA!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!”

 

And they all sing happy birthday song…

I am so touched with what’s happening. I’m really enjoying this. We share the foods that oppa has ordered for them, we had games and intermission numbers. Some of them have special participation; they sing, dance and even imitate kyu oppa. Hahaha such cute children.

As we are preparing our gifts for them, one girl sneak beside kyu oppa and whispered to him but I was able to hear it…

 

“Oppa, can I ask you something? Is Yoona Unnie your girlfriend?” the little girl asks

“Oh, Yoona… She’s not my girlfriend, but she’s my beautiful Deer Best friend.” Kyu oppa answered her looking at me while smiling

“Really? I thought she is ‘coz she’s very beautiful and I think you like her.” –the little girl continued

 

“Nyah!” I heard kyu oppa’s shocked reaction. I looked at him and his face became red.

“Oh mianhae oppa. I didn’t mean to tell you. I’ll just go with them now.” As the little girl said goodbye to him

 

 “Yah! Oppa what happened to you? Are you alright?” – I ask him

“I’m okay Yoong. It’s nothing, don’t worry…”

 

 

 

 

KYUHYUN POV

 

We went back to the children for our last part of the program. We gave to all of them the gifts we prepared, mostly school supplies. I had them all ordered before we arrived here that’s why we didn’t have much hassle of bringing anything.

 

“Oppa can you sing for us please?” –the little girl again

“It’s a great pleasure for me to do that and of course I would like to invite my best friend Yoona to sing with me.”

 

“Oh oppa,…” she was about to reject but she saw the smiles of the children so she had no choice but to stand beside me.

“alright then…” she finally said

 

“We are going to sing HOPE, this is the song that we always sing during the last part of our SM TOWN Concert.  Hope you will love it...” As I started.

 

Then they play the song… every one clapped their hands and start dancing with the melody of the song.
 

“Yoong you’ll gonna sing the rap.. arasso” I whispered to her

Such lovely children. We finished our last mission; it’s already past 10pm. I am now dropping her back to the dorm as I promised taeyeon-shi to bring her back before midnight.

I smiled and pat her head… then suddenly she began to drown herself into my shoulder. She fell asleep...
