Minji's POV- 

I woke up to find myself in Rain’s arms.

“Oh, tha-that’s okay oppa! I can walk up to…” I said as he put me down. I looked up and found myself standing in front of Rain’s apartment complex. I was a little surprised, but then I realized what had happened a few minutes earlier and smiled to myself.

We walked up to his apartment, and I immediately went to his couch. He walked over to his couch as well and sat beside me.

“Do you watch any Korean dramas?” I suddenly asked him, staring at his TV. I had started thinking about Natalia, and how she would be reacting in this situation. I missed her so much already! How was I ever going to live without her? We had been pretty much inseparable ever since we met in fifth grade. This is the longest I had ever been without her. Even when we went on vacations, we always went together since she was also an only child and our parents considered us their daughter as well (AN: lol, does that even make sense? If not… I mean Natalia’s parents view Minji as their daughter and Minji’s parents view Natalia as their daughter. xD)  

“Uh… sometimes. When I can, I guess. I’m usually pretty busy with work and all.”

From there, our conversation took off. We talked about a wide range of subjects, both of us getting more comfortable with each other. Eventually, I found my head resting on his shoulder and his hand in mine.

I heard him say something, but I was too tired to respond.

Suddenly I found myself walking through a field with my fiancé. Everything about it seemed so… perfect. Almost too good to be true. It was nearing sunset, when the sun turned everything that magnificent shade of orange. We were walking hand in hand when suddenly he stopped me.

“No matter what happens, promise me you will always be my side.” He said with such a serious expression it almost scared me.

“Of course, oppa.”

“No, promise me.”

“I promise.”

 He smiled and kissed my forehead and we continued walking through the field together.

A smile spread across my face, thinking that he was definitely the one. He truly was my soul mate.

Rain's POV-

“So what did you think of the restaurant tonight?” I asked. I was waiting for her reply, but it was taking rather long. I looked over at her and found that peaceful, angelic sleeping face of hers.

“Aigoo, my baby fell asleep.” I sighed and chuckled. “But now what?”

“Ottokae? Ottokae? Hmm…” I thought, trying to think of what to do with her.

An idea struck me.

Carefully, I took my hand out of hers *oh yes, finally got to hold her hand! And her head was resting on my shoulder. xD* and gently laid her down on the couch. Then I went back to my bedroom to make sure everything looked okay. I pulled back the comforter and went out to the living room. Slowly and carefully I picked her up and took her into my room. I placed her on my bed and then pulled the blanket over her. I leaned over and kissed her forehead, hoping I wasn’t disturbing her.

“I promise.” I could have sworn  her say.

I straightened up again, confused. I looked at her. A smile- that smile, the one that made me begin to fall for her last night, began appearing on her face.

Afraid I did wake her up, I softly called her name.

No answer. Hmm. Was she just sleep talking then?

“Okay, well goodnight my precious one. See you tomorrow.” A smile naturally spread across my face from just looking at her.

I went back to the couch where I would be spending my night.
